History:

Asahi was born to a father who is an Ackermann and an Asian mother. Before her parents' death, she lived peacefully with them in the farmlands of Wall Maria along with her younger sister Mikasa. Asahi, and later Mikasa, underwent a painful scarring ritual from her mother, who cut into her skin the mark of their family and was taught a unique style of embroidery. Being the last of their race made them high value targets to human traffickers, who killed Asahi's parents and attempted to kidnap her and Mikasa for the purpose of selling them as a slave to the people in the Capital when she was only fifteen years old.

They were rescued by Eren, who tricked and killed two of the slavers. He was then overwhelmed by the third and fourth traffickers and was on the verge of being strangled. Desperately, Eren urged Asahi and Mikasa to fight to win.

Misaka dispatched the bandit who was trying to kill Eren by stabbing him whilst Asahi managed to kill the last with her bare hands. When Eren's father arrived with members of the Military Police Regiment, Mikasa was given the scarf by Eren and the two girls were accepted into his family.

This event awakened the fighting instincts and perfect self-control that would later turn her into a formidable fighter. She lived with Eren's family in Wall Maria's Shiganshina District until it was destroyed by the Colossal Titan.

During the Fall of Shiganshina, Asahi fled with Eren and Mikasa inside the safety of Wall Rose.

After the events of the Wall Maria's destruction, the government's desperate attempt to reclaim the lands using the refugees leads to nothing but more casualties. Whilst this prompted Mikasa, Eren and Armin to enroll in the military and become members of the 104th Cadet Corps, Asahi instead fled from Wall Rose and return beyond Wall Maria and to Shiganshina.

During the next three years, Asahi trained herself to kill Titans through trial and error, intending to single-handedly wipe them out of Shiganshina. She also designed and created a lot of items to help her use what she could get her hands on in the district and beyond, even venturing outside of the wall in search of resources.

Personality and characteristics:

"Asahi, you are one of the smartest women I have ever known, but you have a blind spot when it comes to your family....you would throw yourself to the Titans if you thought it would save Mikasa...."

Asahi is a very kind, loving, compassionate, and strong-willed person. Growing up, Asahi also proved herself headstrong and determined to do what she wanted, as seen with her staying beyond Wall Maria despite the risk to her life. She is quite stubborn; if she believes something is the right thing to do, then she will do it.

Even alongside all of her kindness, compassion, and empathy, Asahi is still also a warrior at heart, and when someone she cares about is hurt, becomes far more relentless and ruthless. Outside of battle, however, Asahi can also react indigently and negatively towards people who disrespect her, her family, or those she cares about. Asahi also remains ruthless when facing enemies in battle, and she even shows signs of enjoying a good battle when they put up a good fight.

Still, Asahi ultimately has a very strong regard for life and humanity.

While she is a proud person, she is not above admitting when she has done wrong.

Most of all, Asahi is a protector at heart and will do whatever she has to do to save the ones she loves.

Deeply intuitive and sentimental, Asahi can be one of the most challenging individuals to get to know. She is very emotional and sensitive, and cares deeply about matters of the family and her home. Asahi is sympathetic and attached to people she keeps close as seen with Eren and Mikasa

Despite her deep love for her family, especially Eren and Mikasa, she is a lone wolf. Indeed, driven by her dream to prove her courage, she prefers to take on all tasks and risks herself even when those around her are willing to join her.

On top of being a fierce warrior, Asahi is cunning and is a great strategist. Considered stubbornly independent, she also claims to not be fond of surprises.

Asahi is a tremendously skilled and well-rounded fighter and polymath genius (in tactics, deception, engineering, and martial arts, as well as both inductive and deductive analysis)

Peak human condition: Asahi put herself through intense training for three years, which has heightened her abilities to the highest levels of human potential.

- Peak human strength: Asahi's strength allows her to physically overpower combatants, including elite-trained humans and Titans. Asahi is capable of effortlessly lifting and hurling humans like ragdolls over her head, send enemies flying several meters with a single punch or kick, slam through solid walls, throw people into walls hard enough to break through them, and effortlessly dislocating limbs with a single twist.

- Peak human durability: Asahi is also exceptionally durable by human standards due to her intense training. Her muscles and bones are vastly denser and far more resilient than an average human. Hence, Asahi could not be slowed down or fazed by falling from a roof, allowing her to quickly land on her feet.

- Peak human agility: Asahi's athletic prowess grants her exceptional agility, coordination, and balance while fighting and evading Titans. Asahi is incredibly nimble and agile, and has demonstrated high levels of agility and dexterity.

- Peak human stamina: Asahi's highly trained and developed body generates far fewer fatigue toxins than an ordinary human, superior in that regard to the finest soldier, able to exert herself at her peak capacity for several hours without tiring or slowing down.

- Peak human metabolism: Asahi's metabolism runs several times faster than an average human's due to her incredible workout regimen, this allows her to have a near inhuman metabolism, healing, immune system, and longevity.

- Peak human speed: Asahi is extremely fast, being able to run and fight at great speeds. Her remarkable speed, combined with her reflexes and agility, makes her a formidable opponent.

- Peak human reflexes: Asahi has incredible reflexes and fast reaction time.

- Peak human senses: Asahi has honed her senses to a nearly superhuman degree. She is able to throw a rang to an approaching Titan without even looking. Her senses in combat contributes with her great agility and reflexes, as she is always aware of the environment.

Master Hand to Hand Combatant: Asahi is an extraordinarily skilled hand-to-hand combatant. Her fighting style also incorporates and takes full advantage of her proper use of physical forces, momentum, and leverage, as well as her knowledge of anatomical weaknesses and pressure-points on Titans, combined with her nigh-superhuman strength, executing it all at very high speeds.

Combat Skills: Using her combat prowess, Asahi can easily overwhelm multiple opponents and even titans. She can also effectively dual wield. She has sharp reflexes and can dodge, parry, and block incoming attacks. Asahi is also extremely skills in hand-to-hand combat, and can easily break the necks of Goliath-sized humans with a chokehold.

Rang mastery: Asahi is a extremely skilled at throwing projectile weaponry with great accuracy and pinpoint precision, such as her signature rangs.

Master acrobat: Asahi is incredibly agile and is capable of climbing walls with ape-like acrobatics. Her acrobatic skills make her an exceptional master of stealth.

Genius-level intellect: Asahi is an extremely intelligent and eclectic polymath genius, to the point that she has successfully gone toe-to-toe with extremely dangerous and completely unpredictable Titans for years. Asahi's brilliant intellect is arguably her greatest and most formidable ability of all.

Master tactician: Asahi is an extremely formidable tactical and strategic genius, often using cunning and planning to effectively assess combat situations and come up with effective strategies, and successfully outwit stronger and more powerful foes, rather than simply outfighting them, using any of their exploitable weaknesses to her advantage.

Master engineer: Asahi is an immensely formidable genius in general engineering. She designed and created everything she employees in her fight against the Titans, from her weaponry to the armour she wears.

Stealth: Usually keen for up front confrontations, Asahi is also highly adept at stealth and is able to silently assassinate her targets undetected in addition to being able to remain hidden from her enemies. In fact, she spent three years living, training, and killing titans in Shiganshina District without being killed by titans or caught by the Military.

Freerunning: A skilled freerunner, Asahi is able to scale buildings and natural elements with relative ease, more so when done in tandem with her grapple gun.

Equipment:

Asahi is capable of wielding a variety of weapons including; swords and daggers.

Armour: Asahi has a number of armour pieces made of ultrasteel, including a shoulder pauldron.

Cloak: Asahi wears a white armoured cloak that is both lightweight and effective as a defensive tool. She can pull it around herself or another to deflect weapon attacks. And can even use the cloak as a parachute, letting her glide from great heights safely.

Utility Belt: Asahi's specially designed belt, with its many pouches filled with an arsenal of numerous weapons and tools at all times, to aid her.

Wrist Gauntlet (Right):

- Hidden Blade: Attached to the inside of her right gauntlet, Asahi makes use of a hidden retractable blade.

Wrist Gauntlet (Left):

- Grapple Gun: Attached to the inside of her left gauntlet, Asahi's line launching, multi-purpose, highly versatile, and handgun-like device that fires a retractable, detachable line with a clawed end, which she utilizes to traverse the world around her, escape danger and remain hidden from foes, all while allowing her to scale rappel, swing, catapult, or slingshot herself along structures or across gaps. It allows her to ascend and descend, much like an elevator or pulley system, at a harmless rate. It consists of a spool of cable, a winding device, and reloading feature. Once, it is shot at a surface, it pulls the user at great speed towards their target and quickly retracts into the device once it is reached. This can be done in rapid succession, with the device being able to fire against instantly after retracting, with the speed of the device retracting being similar to flight. It can also be used to pull on an enemy with great force, enough to stun and daze them or to injure them, with the end of the line also acting like a harpoon or spear gun, as it can pierce into the flesh of a target and pull them. Asahi was inspired by the ODM gear and manufactured her grapple gun from pieces of the old ODMs.

Blades: Asahi makes use of stolen blades taken from ODM. These are made from an ultrahard steel, which is both supple and strong, capable of rending Titan flesh. It can only be manufactured in the blast furnaces of factory cities, hence why Asahi needs to steal them from the Military or from fallen members of the Survey Corps outside of the wall.

Rangs: Asahi utilises extremely sharp (capable of piercing brick walls) throwing gadgets. These are held in a pouch on her belt and are made of ultrahard steel taken from cut down blades making them strong enough to hurt and kill Titans if aimed well enough.

Bolas: Used for tripping up enemies and cause noise far away to distract targets. These are held in a pouch on her belt.

Dagger (x2): Usually hidden in her boots, Asahi carries a dagger in each boot for emergency close combat. These were made by Asahi from cut-down pieces of blades.

Throwing Knives: Hidden in her sleeves, and in various hidden pockets around her person, Asahi can use throwing knives effectively.

Poisons and Grenades: Asahi can make use of grenades and poisons for varying results, including smoke, explosion, flashbang, and sticky.

Pairing: Erwin Smith
