*In the sewers*

*Sonic, Luca and Alberto fall through a pipe and land in the sewer water*

*Luca and Alberto managed to surface with ease but sonic was having trouble*

Sonic: Gah! *coughs out water* Ew! I think I got sewer water in my mouth! Luca! Alberto!

Luca: *gasps* Alberto! sonic can't swim! we have to help him!

*Luca and alberto swam to sonic and helped hold his head up so he wouldn't drown*

*suddenly luca noticed a paddleball*

Luca: *gasps* The paddleball! guys grab it!

*Luca, Alberto and sonic jumped and grabbed the paddleball and it launched them out of the sewers*

*out of the sewers*

*luca landed flat on his face and he weakly got up and noticed alberto's unconscious body*

Luca: *gasps* Alberto! *runs to him and kneels down* Alberto?

Luca: Come on, don't- don't prank me like this

*luca tries to shake him awake but he wouldn't wake up*

*Luca clasps his hands over his mouth and sobs*

Luca (sobbing): Oh Alberto...I- I shouldn't have- *sobs harder*

Alberto:...What's up?

Luca (sobbing): Not now Alberto- *eyes widen in realization* Alberto?!

Sonic: Uhh yeah who else would it be?

Luca: ALBERTO! *hugs him tightly* I'm so happy you're okay!

*Luca's eyes widened and let go of Alberto*

Luca: I- i mean...wow, glad you're okay but- how are you alive

*then sonic pushes over the seemingly dead Alberto corpse only to realize...it was a plushie version*

Luca: Oh...it was...a plush *chuckles embarrassed*

Sonic: Luca! you were crying! you really do care about him!

Luca: What? No! I- You were crying!

Sonic: Aw you lil' softy!

Luca: Don't make this about me, i was traumatized!

*Sonic aws at luca*

Luca: Just leave it alone

Sonic: Okay fine, Well, that whole day was a big waste! We didn't learn anything of value except for that Sweet Pete wears the same step tracker that I do

Luca: Wait, those step trackers, do they keep track of everywhere you go?

Sonic: Of course they do, I know because I like to map my runs in the shape of a butt *chuckles*

Luca: I can't believe I'm saying this, but we need to go talk to Ellie! and then I'm going home!

Sonic: Okay but do me a favor; Please don't tell her about the 'butt' thing

Luca: I can't promise that

*sonic groans*

Sonic: But d'you think she'll find it hilarious?

*At Alberto's house*

Ellie: So, if we could get a hold of Sweet Pete's step tracker, we could cross reference where he's been, with where we know he goes!

Sonic: Right! And whatever doesn't overlap has got to be his secret facility!

Luca: Exactly! We get the step tracker, and we can trace it to find Mei

Alberto: Luca, you're a genius!

Ellie: So what's the plan? How are you guys gonna get Sweet Pete's step tracker?

Luca: 'You guys?' hold on, We got you the info you needed, Now it's up to you, the professional, to actually, you know, get the bad guy and save our friend Mei?

Ellie: It's not as simple as that, We need warrants, we need probable cause and I don't know if you guys noticed, but the captain doesn't really value my opinion too much

Sonic: Whaaat? he's crazy

Ellie: No, I really screwed up...Last year, when Peppa Pig went missing, I fell for a bogus tip, and made the whole squad raid Nickelodeon Junior Studios...And the toons fought back

Ellie: Paw Patrol attacked Sergeant Henderson...the doctors say he'll never have kids

Ellie: Yep

Sonic:...Ouch, that actually sounds really painful

Sonic: But anyway thanks for sharing that absolutely bonkers story

Alberto: *gasps* Wait! I think I have exactly what we need! Don't move

*Alberto goes to the garage and presses a button to open it*

Alberto: Lady and gentlemen, Behold! The crime lab!

Sonic: Ohh my- are you kidding me?

Ellie: What! *laughs* this is crazy!

Alberto: Pretty sweet, right? All the disguises and gadgets we could ever need

Sonic: *notices something* Wait a sec...is that?

Alberto: Yep! the first ever gadget luca ever invented...the grapple-cutters

Luca: *chuckles* Wow, I've forgotten all about this...*looks at the map on the wall* What's this huge map with all the pins in it?

Alberto: Oh, that? It's actually very cool

Luca: Oh no Is this where all the victims are buried?

Sonic: *chuckles* You're messing with us again!

Sonic: It actually shows Animal Squad's ratings in every US market in which, as you may recall, was our most successful year

Luca:...Hey Ellie, didn't you say you were from Albany?

Ellie: Born and raised

Luca: Well, according to this map Animal Squad never aired in Albany

Ellie: Yeah! My grandma, she used to tape all the episodes and send them to me

Sonic: Awe yeah! grandma's rule! *chuckles*

Alberto: Hey luca! come over here!

*luca walks over to alberto and sonic*

Alberto: Check this out! This is the limited edition Animal Squad pog set!

Alberto: You know, this turned into a real collectible because someone noticed that one of the clouds behind Mei looked exactly like...Oprah

Sonic: Oh-ho snap! so cool!

Alberto: I know, right? Unfortunately, I only have 11 of the 12

Luca: Which one?

Alberto: I'm missing the main one of all of us together

Sonic: You mean the golden pog?! that's like the rarest one!

Ellie: Okay guys, Sweet Pete goes to the Russian bathhouse every Wednesday

Ellie: So, how are we gonna sneak you guys in there without being recognized by all those goons?

Sonic: Hmm...Oh- oh! what if we did episode 45?

Alberto: *laughs* It was hilarious

Ellie: Um...I don't know, I shouldn't even be here

Sonic (mimicking mei): *puts on a red panda ear headband* Please! I need you Ellie! Help find me!

Ellie:...Okay but just this once

Sonic (mimicking mei): Oh thank you Ellie! you're the best! and after sonic and his friends save me we can sing 4*town! I never met nobody! like you! had friends and I had buddies, it's true but they don't turn my tummy, the way you do!

Sonic: -Okay I'll stop now *takes off the red panda ear headband*

*At the russian bathhouse*

Ellie: Okay, guys, remember, you're plumbers here to fix a leaky pipe

*Inside the building*

*Luca, Alberto and Sonic were wearing fake rat noses with cameras dressed as plumbers*

Alberto (whispering): Roger that, This thing working?

Ellie (Walkie-talkie): It's working, I'd say we have about an hour before anyone notices this van is missing, so shake a tail

Luca (Whispering): I can't believe we're doing this just please don't do anything dumb

Sonic (whispering): Fine we won't

Alberto: Hey! We're here to clean the pipes or did you forget about it?

*the receptionist hits a button and the door opens*

Alberto: Hey thanks man

*Alberto, sonic and luca walk into the room*

Luca: Wow, I am honestly amazed that that worked

Alberto: Neither can I

Sonic: (whispering through walkie-talkie): Hey ellie! we're in!

Ellie (walkie-talkie): Good, Now keep a low profile and go find Sweet Pete's locker

Bob the viking: Hey, you three! This water fountain good?

Luca, Alberto and Sonic: Uhh

Bob the viking: Are the pipes clean to drink from?

Alberto: Oh um-

Luca: Hey! they're cleaner than broadway! 

Bob the viking: Okay thanks *turns away for a second to drink from the warer fountain but turns around to see, luca, alberto and sonic gone*

*In the ceiling*

*luca, alberto and sonic had crawled up onto the pipes*

Ellie (walkie-talkie): Nice work, You need to stay up on those pipes, out of sight

Sonic (whispering): Yup! got it

*Then they crawled throughout the sewers until they saw sweet pete*

Sonic (Whispering): There he is...

*then they see him put his step tracker in his locker and he locks it and he leaves*

Sonic: Okay, let's get down there

*Luca, alberto and sonic slide down a pipe and land in front of sweet pete's locker*

*suddenly they hear a hissing behind them and they look up and see a huge green snake*

DJ Herzogenaurach: Hey, i know you three

Luca: We're dead

DJ Herzogenaurach: You're the animal squad

DJ Herzogenaurach:...I am huge fanboy!

Sonic: Oh no way!

DJ Herzogenaurach: Oh yes i have watched your show for years also check this out

Sonic: Ohh what is it!?

DJ Herzogenaurach: Wait for it

*then he hits a button playing a remix of 'U know what's up'*

Sonic: *gasps* Is that a remix of 'U know what's up'?!

Luca: You made this?

DJ Herzogenaurach: You are knowing it brother!

DJ Herzogenaurach: Now you do a rap on it? Yes?

Sonic: Us? do a rap of our favourite song? Uh YES!

Luca: Uhh actually give me a minute with the boys will you?

Luca (whispering): First off, stop encouraging this guy! secondly We are not rapping! 

Sonic (whispering): What's it with you and rapping?

Luca (whispering): Because! There is nothing more pathetic than an old cartoon character trying to seem cool again by rapping!

Alberto (whispering): Luca we hear you but we don't have a choice! 

Luca (whispering): Yes we do! When it comes to rapping, there's always a choice

Sonic (whispering); Actually, can you hold that thought?

*Sonic slides out of the group huddle*

Sonic: I'm makin' paper like it's origami

Luca: Aaaand I'm in hell

DJ Herzogenaurach: Oh wow! hold on, I need to film this!

Sonic: I'm gonna hustle every day (Ooh-woah)

Sonic: I'm gonna make it all the way, just watch me

Sonic: I only came to win the game, can't stop me, yeah

*Then as luca was about to put in the combination after using a special technique using a match, Herzogenaurach came up behind him*

Luca and Alberto: Jinx! you owe me a non-brand specific cola!

Luca and Alberto: WHAT?! That was crazy!

Luca and Alberto: *gasps at the same time* Somebody call Guinness book!

Luca and Alberto: This is-

Alberto: -Incredible!

Luca: -Blowing my mind

Alberto: Ah! we lost it

*luca and alberto smile at each other*

DJ Herzogenaurach: Boom, boom. It's DJ Herzogenaurach with the 'U know what's up' remix!

Luca: *grabs sweet pete's step tracker and closes and locks the locker door* Hey y'know, this was really fun, but we actually got to get going!

Alberto: Yeah bye!

Sonic: We'll see you later!

*Luca, Alberto and Sonic rush out*

DJ Herzogenaurach: *sighs heavenly* They are legends
