I found it interesting watching the animal from afar. After a few minutes she pulled off her cloak and she appeared to be crying. I slowly crept closer and listened to her talking. Her head was placed on the Mira statue and her tears rolled down the sides of her cheek, "I miss you so much, I hate having to keep reliving my life. Tell me what to do now. They will find out who I am one day so why do you keep doing this to me." The Mira statue then blinked and a tear-shaped gem fell from its eye and onto her head. The wolf then smiled and got up, "Thanks... " I couldn't make out the last word but she walked away. Somebody tapped on my shoulder and I turned around and the guy from the shop gave my Fedora back. I took off the white fedora and put on my black one. Somebody yelled, "LOOK THAT DUDE IN THE WHITE WAS DARE THE WHOLE TIME!" I put the white fedora back on and then they yelled, "WHERE DID HE GO?" I literally walked past the crowd and got yelled out for bumping into an elephant. Idiots. All of them. Wait where did that wolf go. Now I'm the idiot here. I'm also bored. As I started to head back to the forest I heard somebody yell, "ROCKS FOR SELL!" I walked over and saw all different kinds of rocks and gems. One green rock that looked almost like emerald sat on a cushion. I asked, "How much for this?" An otter peaked over the counter, "That's not for sale. Legend has it that this green rock symbolizes Cosmo, and it's worth all the headdresses in the world." I put 100 gems on the table and he looked at me and he pushed it back. I added 400 more and then put a rare plushie on the table. He pulled it towards him and threw the rock at me, "Take it." I put it under my fedora and headed to the HQ with a long detour. A little after midnight I sat behind the HQ and surprisingly Gilbert and Greely were... LATE. I started snickering when they showed up, "You're... LATE!" For some reason I thought it was hilarious. The green rock fell out of my fedora and Gilbert grabbed it, "Where did you get this?!?" Greely sat there unamused. I straightened my fedora, "It may or not be from the black market." Gilbert handed it to Greely, "It's the first shard. Cosmo's shard." Greely grunted madly, "Yay good job... Tomorrow you will be sent to a school of arctic wolves where you should be able to find Liza's shard." I yelled, "SCHOOL?!?!" Greely grinned a little, "Maybe they can teach you not to steal valuable items from people." Then they both disappeared... With the rock I payed for.
