I woke up tied to the ground. It was just ropes so it should be a easy break. Then I realized I couldn't move. The phantom girl was about a foot away. She came over and untied me, I still couldn't move. Her fur was grey and black. She had a bow as well. I could slowly move again. I was able to look at the paw that was shot. It was wrapped up in bandages and I had a massive headache. The phantom girl gave me a ice pack, "Hi, I'm Jackie." If I had the chance I would slap her. Oh wait. I slapped her and she slapped me back. I growled and she growled back. I was getting no where with that. I grumbled after awhile, "I'm Dare." Jackie smiled, "Dare is nice but I'm just gonna call you Mat." Oh, how I wished I could make her scream in pain. Though I thought Mat was a nice name. She smiled and started laughing a little. I realized something, "Jackie right?" She nodded her head. "Mhmm" I kinda glared at her, "Mat as in the name? Or mat as in the item" Jackie glared back, "Are you really gonna be a smarty pants?? I meant the name!" Now I felt dumb. Then I felt dumber when I found out I could move again. I stood and she growled, "sit back down." I looked past her shoulder and the door was open a little. Enough for me to slip through. I took a step towards her and she flinched. Maybe I can get her to run at me and then I'll hit her in the face with the ice pack and I'll bolt to the door. I stepped over to the left and she followed me over. I took a few step towards her and she took a few steps back. The ice pack needs to be thrown now. I threw the ice pack at her and ran to the door. I could hear her foot steps behind me. As soon as I got out the door it was a dead run. I went left because it was a straight hallway. You couldn't see the end. Which one of us would run out of stamina soon. Every time I looked back she got faster. I could hear her breath getting heavier, but mine was getting the same way. She started talking, I don't know if she was talking to someone or herself. I didn't look back to check. "He's gotten out, I'm hot on his tail down the Endless hall. He'll be lucky if I don't kill him when I get to him." When I heard that I ran faster using all my energy I could. I would rather not die, besides I haven't gotten my revenge yet. Phantoms appeared in front of me a little ways away. At least if I die, I died trying. I felt my fedora started to slip off. I got closer to the phantoms as they came at me. Jackie was still behind me. I almost stopped to surrender, until I got a idea. Almost a brilliant idea. I could feel her breath on my neck. I acted like I tripped, she was so close she tripped over me. The bow on her back was a plus for me. I grabbed and hopped over her, shooting the phantoms in front of me. My fedora finally fell off. I picked it up and fixed it on my head. Then I realized it was a mistake to stop when a phantom hand was shoved in my mouth and I passed out.
