They were going to hurt Jackie. I had to do something, I had to say something. "Don't." Cosmo said, "Peck did you say don't" I didn't hear an answer so I think she shook her head. Graham said, "I didn't hear a thing." Then I managed to say, "Hurt Jackie." Cosmo then said, "Don't... hurt Jackie? Whose Jackie?" Graham then said, "Maybe the other fox... This is nonsense, give them something to put them back out. I think they are waking up." Then I heard a deeper voice, "Leave them be, let them wake up. I want to see if they would be responsible enough to come face their punishment. Even if they know it might end in death." Cosmo and Graham both said at the same time, "Yes Sir Gilbert." I heard a door open and footsteps out. The door hadn't shut yet when I heard a sniffle from Peck. Sir Gilbert then said, "Peck, we have tried our best to protect them from the Darkness of The Phantoms. I promise things may just happen turn out to be alright." More footsteps, the door then shut. I sat up and looked over at Jackie who was fast asleep. I'll have to wait till she wakes up. She looked so peaceful in her sleep. She then mumbled in excitement, "Look it's a unicorn." I smiled a little and then she said, "Now get the fire and we will light it up." I looked away slowly and then she practically jumped up, "It's already dead." Jackie tilted her head, "Where are the Alpha's." I simply said, "The Alpha's want to meet us in the Judgement room." Jackie shook her head, "No way, I am getting out of here." I pulled on Jackie to stop her, "If we run off again they are going to erase our memories." Jackie looked at me, "Is that a bad thing." Then I said something that I would never forget, "I don't want you to be erased from my memory." She then hugged me, "Then I don't wanna die." I hugged her back, "I would rather die than forget you." I could hear her whispering, "Phantoms don't have feelings, Phantoms don't have feelings." I then said, "Let's go to the Alpha's before they change their minds." She nodded and we headed out the door and headed to our doom.
