A Man From The Past (Part 2)
"Dare?" I opened my eyes, "I need the sword." Peck gave me a surprised look, "What?" At least Peck was there and not Liza. I looked around and I was back in the HQ health center. I sat up, "What am I doing back in here?" Peck scratched her neck, "Well, you hit the tree, the wolf tried to take off with you when you passed out. We had stopped him, he's waiting for you though, we can't get him to leave..." She was still saying more but I had a shot if he was still outside. Knowing that he was waiting for me The Alphas won't let me leave until he is dealt with. I ran around a corner and hid in Gilbert's room and watched Peck ran by. I searched around the room for the key, but I didn't see it. I started throwing stuff around trying to find it. After a while, the room was trashed, I turned around to head out and then I saw the key on the back of the door. I grabbed it and ran. Peck ran into the room after I ran out. Pink smoke circled in front of me. Peck came out of it ready to pounce. Her paint brush in her hand behind her. I skid to a stop and asked, "Where is the sword." Peck stood up straight, "I don't know what you are talking about." I held out the key, "The one Gilbert hides with this." Peck went to grab the key but I pulled it back, "I thought I could trust at least one of you to help me." She started to get back to a pounce from, "You can't get the sword. I won't let you." I sighed, "Fine, but can you at least tell me where it is? I'll give you the key." Peck stood back up, "It's hidden under the floorboards in a chest in your old room." She held her paw out, "Now for the key." I had to do something I knew I was going to regret. The key got closer to her paw. I hit her back leg leave her no chance to fight back. She flew into the wall hitting her head and passing out. I sat there looking at her for a second, "I'm sorry." Then I ran off to my room.
