~It's early morning~

Trilochan, Kalindi and Bondita are ready in hall.

Trilochan: Your pati babu is sleeping right?

Bondita nods yes innocently.

~Few hours later~

All the family members gathered in Durga ma shrine.

Trilochan prepares the aarti plate.

Bondita and her family standing aside. Niroop and Sumelika are standing together, Thaku ma and Chandrachur stands together. Sumati is looking at them by standing somewhat far.

Trilochan: Bahu, after 5 years this Haveli is going to celebrate a festival. Festival of lights has been arrived. Let's pray to God to wash out the darkness to and give us brightness in our lives.

Bondita says yes and takes the aarti plate.

Sashwati and Saraswati fights with each other for shank.

Trilochan: Arey, arey. Saraswati you blow the shank, Sashwati you play the bell and bahu you take the aarti.

Anirudh: What I have to do Kaka?

Trilochan: Simply stand and watch them.

They laughed and starts their puja.

In mid of puja phone rings.

Trilochan thinks: I think it is the same call.

He stops Anirudh and scolds him for getting distracted during Puja.

Niroop: I will attend it, then.

Trilochan: No need! First complete the puja.

Anirudh grows suspicious.

After completing puja they all sat for breakfast.

Trilochan face is dull thinking of something.

Bondita serves them food.

Sashwati: Thaku da, give me that bowl.

Trilochan didn't responded.

He jerked up. Anirudh looks at him.

Trilochan: Hn, Sashu. Take this.

He gives her the glass instead of bowl.

Trilochan is shocked.

They all laughed. Anirudh gave hifi to Chandrachur. But Trilochan eats silently without even listening them.

Saraswati: Oh stop it! Everyone forgot what I was speaking about.

Saraswati thinks.

Bondita: She forgot it, think so.

Saraswati nods yes with innocent face.

Thaku ma: First complete eating. We have lots of diwali rituals to be done.

They all eats silently.

~After sometimes~

Thaku ma and Chandrachur gives gifts to Bondita being maternal side.

Trilochan gives gifts to Das family as samadhan side.

Later they all exchanges sweets and happiness with each other.

Trilochan offers bonus to servants except Bihari.
Bihari takes Trilochan aside and questions him.

Bihari: Malik why do you forgot me?

Trilochan: Are you our servant? Bihari, it's been years. You are still staying here to take care of us. You never took leave. You never smiled when we cried. You always been good to us. You are not our servant. I always treat you as our family. So you don't deserve bonus. But something special one.

Bihari: What's it?

Everyone came from behind shouting "Thank you bhari babu".

Bihari turned and looked at them.

Bondita: Bhari babu, thank you for being our shelter always. You cared me and supported me since my childhood. You cared my pati babu and his brothers. You have always been our side, no matter whether we are wrong or right. Don't claim yourself as our servant. You are our family.

Bihari gets emotional and cries.

Trilochan: Biharii... Is it good to cry on Diwali?

Bihari nods no with tears.

Anirudh shows gold ring to him. Trilochan gets it and presents it to Bihari.

Bihari: This feels like my farewell. Why you all making me cry? Malik ji, nothing is greater to me than your bold orders. Always order like Bihari do this, Bihari do that. But please never ever give me retirement.

Trilochan nods no. Bihari accepts the gift.

Later they all prepares light lamps.

Saraswati: Maa, I got remember what I was speaking in dining table.

Bondita: Nice, after long time you got it. Say before you forgot it again.

Saraswati: Maa, everything is here. But where is crackers?

Bondita keeps quite.

Sashwati: Hn, without crackers how can we celebrate Diwali?

Anirudh explains about pollution to them.

Trilochan: Always he says this! Anirudh, buy them crackers.

Anirudh: No, Kaka.

Bihari: Choti malik, if I say something you should not scold me.

Anirudh: Yeah, say.

Bihari: Pollution is everywhere. Daily world is being polluted. We can't stop it. Just think once about those who are working 365 days on believing this one day. We are celebrating diwali happily but think about the families working in crackers shop.

Anirudh worries on thinking it.

Chandra: Hn, Anirudh. Bursting crackers for few hours will not create big impact on environment. Else it will feed cracker makers family.

Bondita looks at Anirudh.

Anirudh: Okay fine. We shall burst crackers. But, just for one hour.

Sashwati: Hayeee, okay...

Anirudh smiled at them. Chandrachur arranges for crackers.

~It's night~

Haveli is twinkling like a star, as it is completely lighted up with small mud lamps.

Haveli members enjoys bursting crackers.
