~It's night~

Bondita is feeding food to kids.

Saraswati: Ma, you are preparations all are good. I love it ma.

Sashwati: Ma, will you teach us to cook?

Bondita: Hn, sure. But not now. You should attain certain age.

Saraswati: Why? Are we not intelligent? Why can't we learn cooking now?

Bondita: My dear, ofcourse you both are intelligent. But cooking is not based on intelligence, one should be more focused while cooking. You are small kids right? So, you can't focus accurately in one thing. Your mind will be in oscillation all the time, thinking of playing, studying, eating. So, you can't learn cooking now.

~In RC Haveli~

Brinda is looking at the window and thinking of something. She is staying in Sampoorna's room. She found her photo.

Brinda: Who is this? On pitru paksha they were doing puja do this girl also. Roy Chaudharys are really mysterious. Today Chandrachur took me to the room and said there I may get my answers. So, I should look at that room.

Thaku ma came there and sees Sampoorna's photo in Brinda's hand. She grabbed it.

Thaku ma: Brinda, I am here to call upon you for dinner. Come lets go down.

Brinda: Thaku ma, who is that girl in the photo?

Thaku ma maintains silence.

Brinda: Tell me, Thaku ma. On that day you all were doing pitru paksha for her also right?

Thaku ma: Hn, you are right. She is my grand daughter.

Brinda: Anirudh's wife?

Thaku ma: No, no. She is his step mother. Sampoorna is her name.

Brinda: Step mother? You are Das family. They are Roy Chaudharys. How did Anirudh's father married her?

Chandra came there calling Thaku ma. He looks Brinda and stared.

Chandra: Thaku ma everyone is waiting down. Come lets have dinner.

Thaku ma: Hn, we shall move.

She keeps the photo inside the draw.

Chandra: Sampoorna's photo? How it came out?

Brinda: I only took it. I just want to know about her.

Chandra: Do you know her before?

Brinda: If I know her then why should I ask you?

Chandra: You don't know right? Then be like that itself. Look, I am warning you again don't try to interfere in our family issues and matters. Theek Hain?

Brinda: One last question. Das Family and Roy Chaudharys became relations by Sampoorna? If she is Anirudh's step mother why she didn't have her own kids?

Chandra losses his patience.

Chandra: Look, we are not connected because of sampoorna. There is another connection. And don't expect that I will tell about it. Are you a doctor or CID? Why you are investigating about our family?

Brinda: I am not investigating. I just wanna know.

Chandra: Nothing needed. Thaku ma, you come with me. Let her starve.

Chandra takes Thaku ma from there furiously. Brinda looks at him weirdly.

~In Bondita's house~

Kids and Bondita are playing hide and seek.

Saraswati: Ma, this house is very small. Sashwati is easily finding me. Its not helping me to hide properly. Hide and seek should be played in big house.

Bondita: Big house?

Saraswati: Hn, like that sarpanch's haveli. It is very big. Anyone can hide there easily. Hide and seek will be more interesting there.

Bondita is dumbstruck now.

Sashwati: Ma, she is always speaking about that haveli. Shall we send her there?

Bondita: Saraswati, Sashwati we should learn to live where we are. There are many people who don't even have small hut. But we are blessed with this small house.

Sudden door knocking sound.

Bondita: Who is that in this time?

Bondita slowly went near door and looks out through the small hole. She could see saree only.

Bondita: Woman? That too at this time? Will it be Tupur? But saree is colourful, so she can't be. Will it be that new girl of Roy chaudharys?

That woman keeps on knocking the door.

Bondita opens it with fear but surprised after seeing Kasturi.

Bondita hugged her tightly.

Kasturi: Ahhh! Leave me.

Bondita: Kasturi? It's been a long  time. After many years I am seeing you. How are you?

Kasturi: Hn, I am fine. You?

Bondita: Yes, I am fine too. Come inside.

Sashwati and Saraswati came there. Kasturi hugged them. Bondita went to kitchen to bring something to Kasturi.

Saraswati: Ma, who is she?

Kasturi: I am your "Masi".

Sashwati: Masi? But we never seen you before.

Kasturi: But I have seen you, while you both were babies.

Saraswati: Really?

Kasturi: Hn, I was there with your mom when you both were born.

Sashwati thinks.

Kasturi: What you are thinking madam?

Sashwati: If you were with my mom on that day then you would know our Bapa right?

Kasturi and Bondita are astound.

Saraswati: Have you seen him? My ma says, he is working in foreign. He is "Vilayati Babu". He neither came to meet us not call us.

Bondita eyes filled with tears. Kasturi looks at Bondita.

Sashwati: Tell us, masi. You know my Bapa? Do you know his number?

Bondita nods no. But Kasturi says yes. 

Saraswati: Hayee!

Sashwati: Masi, we will ask you something. Will you do it? Pls. Pls. Pls.

Kasturi: Hn, I will.

Sashwati: Please make a call to our Bapa. We have to hear his voice once.

Bondita sheds tears.

Saraswati: Please Masi.

Kasturi: Umm... He will be busy in his work right? How can we disturb him?

Saraswati: We will not disturb him. We will just hear his voice. Please!

Kasturi: Ok, I will make a call.

Bondita rushed out from kitchen.

Bondita: Saraswati, Sashwati now only she arrived. Why you both are disturbing her? Let her take rest. Tomorrow no another day we shall call your Bapa.

Kasturi: I am not tired. Sashwati, Saraswati today you will hear your Bapa's voice.

She went near telephone which is inside the bedroom.

Bondita went inside and asked her what she is doing.

Kasturi: Today kids will hear their Bapa's voice.

Bondita: No, I will not allow you. Kasturi, you know what had happened. Then why are you doing like this?

Kasturi: Oh Pls Bondita! This is the problem between you and your husband. What sin those innocent kids have done? They don't even know his face.

Bondita thinks sadly. Kasturi stands adamantly.
