The Advantage of living in a big city

Nowadays, most young people prefer

to live in a big city because of the

following advantages: convenience,

improve knowledge, and career

development. First, living in a big city is

very convenient. People can afford

essential things for life such as:

clothes, furniture and health care. In

addition, living in a big city has almost

everything, for instance services

people’s life: schools, banks, hospitals,

bus, undergrounds, trade centers,

convenient traffic... For example, when

you have an emergency or a serious

disease in a big city you can easy find

any hospital near a place you live and

take a short time to get there. Second,

advantage of living in a big city is

helping you improve your knowledge.

Living in a big city you can

communicate with many people and

learn many different cultures from

them. For example, if you live with

neighbor who is Chinese, Indian or

Korean, you can learn a lot from their

culture. Moreover, a big city has more

opportunity to choose a good and

famous school. The last advantage of

living in a big city is developing your

career. Furthermore, a big city has

more opportunity to find good job with

high salary because there are a large

number of companies, corporations,

businesses... in a big city. In conclusion,

living in a big city very convenience,

improve your knowledge and develop

career.

Modern life really brings us both

advantages and disadvantages.

Together with the striking developing

of our society, people live more and

more comfortably. In their work, they

can use laptops to get information as

well as to exchange information easily.

In their housework, there are some

machines which can help them to do

the housework. For their

entertainment, there are many kinds

of recreation for them to choose.

However, they have to work very hard

to get money as much as possible so

that they can afford for their life’s

expenses. In fact, their lifestyle has

really been changing a lot. Although

they have to spend much time on

studying or working, they also find

part-time jobs or study extra majors in

order to compete with others. In

addition, because most of young

people are at work all the time, they

usually don’t have leisure time at all.

They spend most of their time in work

or study so that they can get higher

promotion. Therefore, have very little

time for their entertainment.

Sometimes, they don’t even have time

for their family. In short, living in a

modern life, we will get both good

things and bad things. Therefore, I

personally think that we should share

time for work and entertainment so

that we can have enough time to

enjoy our colourful and poetic life as

well as figure out that our life is more

and more meaningful.

Traffic jam is a big problem for me.

You know, there are many vehicles in

Hanoi city such as: bus, taxi,

motocycles, bicycles... Therefore,

traffic jam happens permanently,

especially at rush-hour. I often go to

school late because of the traffic jam.

I go to shool by motocycle, sometime I

go to shool by bus but i'm still on late.

One who haven't been to Hanoi city

finds it hard to move about at rush-

hour. At that time, everybody seems

to be in hurry to reach their houses.

So, it causes many accident. I think

traffic jam is always a big problem for

me as well as other people in Hanoi.

The best way to solve traffic

problems is to change your car in to

the bicycle. This is more healthy and

environmentally friendly way of

traveling. More over it does not cost

anything and it is impossible to get in

to the traffic jam going by bicycle. In

other case, we should use public

transport to avoid traffic problems

and air pollution increase.

And i think that ministry of

transportation should find the way to

improve this problem early. Do you

think so?
