"Mitra?" Duryodhana roamed around the palace with desperate look on his face. "Mitra", he heard and turned around. He smiled seeing Karna. Karna approached him with puzzled look. "What happened? Why you look so worried?" He asked.

"Sorry to say but you will need to postpone your wedding with Vrushali bhabhi", Duryodhan told him. Karna's smile fell. "But why?" He asked. "Well, you need to come with me for a princess's swyamvar", Duryodhan explained. Karna gulped. "But you told you love Bhanumati...", he said. "You will participate, idiot", Duryodhana laughed.

"Why me?" Karna whined. "Mitra. Please. I love Vrushali a lot. Don't do this with me", Karna begged. Suddenly, Duryodhana started laughing hard, confusing and scaring Karna. "Sorry...sorry", Duryodhana said. "There's no swyamvar. I was just kidding", he laughed. Karna glared at him. "You...", he said ready to pounce on him.

"Hey...listen to me", Duryodhan said and Karna stopped, still scowling. "Well. The Princess is set to marry that fool Arjuna. They have invited all the royalty of Hastinapura and you are my friend, so you do come in royalty", Duryodhana said.

"Arjun is ready? I thought he won't be marrying this early. You guys have just returned after education", Karna said. "I don't care about it. All I know is that we need to go there", Duryodhan said. "So I need to postpone the marriage and visit to Anga", Karna sighed.

"Correct", Duryodhana said. "Why don't we take bhabhi with us?" Duryodhan asked. Karna shook his head. "She will get irritated. She doesn't like royalty and all this stuff that much. Even if she agrees, you know how the royalty of this Kingdom is. I don't want my Vrushali to be anywhere near them", Karna said.

"Your love for her can be seen by your protective behavior", Duryodhana smiled and Karna blushed. "Let's prepare to go", he said slowly and went ahead as Duryodhana followed him and teased him making Karn go deepest shade of red.

In Paurava Kingdom

"Princess, please open the door and listen to me", the maid said. Kirti had kept the door locked since the time, she heard her father's decision without eating or drinking anything. She was lying lifeless with tears falling down her cheeks. "Angraj is coming here", Maid said and Kirti opened her red eyes. She stood up and rushed towards the door. She opened it and maid gasped seeing her condition. "Oh princess", Maid said sadly.

"Is he coming really? This is not a joke right?" She asked hopefully and desperately as her lower lip trembled. "Yes!" The maid said. Kirti jumped in happiness.

Her Karna was coming.

"What should I wear? How should I get ready? When he is coming? What will I say to him? Will he agree?" She bombarded the maid with questions. Maid smiled at her. She looked really excited.

"Princess. Calm down", Maid said. Kirti blushed in embarrassment and nodded. "When are they arriving?" She asked. "They will arrive by tomorrow", Maid said.

Kirti nodded. She was so excited.

In Karn's house

"I don't want you to go", Vrushali whined. Karna sighed. "I will come back the very next day. I have talked to Duryodhana about it. As soon as I return, we will get married. I promise", he said.

Vrushali shook her head. She hugged him and Karn wrapped his arms around her instantly, knowing he would never let her go away from himself. He was worried. She never behaved this way. When his mother attempted to stop him, from going to get education, it was her who encouraged him to go.

And, that separation was far more worse. So, why was she not agreeing this time, when he would return sooner than expected?

And, Vrushali was confused by her behavior too. She was feeling as if sending him would be the decision that will cause her. She was just not feeling good in sending back. She didn't had any idea, why.

"I feel as if sending you would not bring good results", she whispered. Karna frowned. "Why are you feeling this way?" He asked. "I don't know", Vrushali whined and tears filled in her eyes.

Karna panicked. He lifted her up. "Hey", he said and made her sit on the cot. "Everything is alright. Trust me", he said softly. He wiped her tears. "Don't cry. I don't like tears in your eyes", he said. Vrushali smiled at him. "We will marry right?" She asked. Karna nodded. "Definitely", he said to her.

Vrushali grinned widely. "Ok", she said. "I will wait for you", she said further and he held her hand in his as both smiled at each other, lovingly.

In Kalinga Kingdom

"Where is she? She's always late", whined a girl. "Princess Bhanumati, she has went to get flowers", said a maid. "I know her well. She's just teasing me. Supriya always annoys me", Bhanumati whined.

"I annoy you?" Asked a sweet and stern voice.

Bhanumati grinned seeing her friend. "Yes, you do. You always make me wait for you", Bhanumati said. Supriya huffed and entered inside. "Sit", she said and made her sit in front of the mirror.

She started helping her get ready. "I was saying you too also pack your bags", Bhanumati said. Supriya looked at her. "Why? It's your swayamvar next week", she said confused.

"Arey. I am not going without you. You know me more than my parents. Living without is not an option", Bhanumati said. Supriya's smile fell.

The girls who went with the brides never got married as going with them meant lifetime service. So, that meant she would also not get married?

"Is Urvi coming?" Bhanumati asked, busy in looking at herself. "Yes", Supriya whispered.

In Hastinapura

All were ready to go. Karna was accompanying Duryodhana on his chariot as requested by Duryodhan. "Don't think much, Mitr. Bhabhi's worry is natural", Duryodhana assured Karna.

Karna hummed. "I hope so", he said and held the stand. "After your marriage with bhabhi, we'll go Kalinga", Duryodhan said.

"Yes. We will. I will pray that she chooses my friend above all. You are the best", Karna said. He meant it. Among all royals, it was him who saw Karna's talent instead of his caste. So, he really wanted Bhanumati to choose Duryodhana only.

"Pray? Why? She'll come with me only", Duryodhana said. "If she chooses you, right?" Karna asked confused, as the chariot moved ahead. "There are no ifs and buts in this, mitr. She has to choose me. She will choose me. She has no options with her", Duryodhana smiled.

Karna couldn't help but feel fear rising inside his heart. Duryodhana's behavior scared him.

"I think we should focus on the journey now", Karna said. "Tell me. You will support me right if I kidnap her?" Duryodhana asked keeping his hand on Karna's shoulder.
