"What are you saying?" Duryodhan asked him unbelievably. "We should defeat the Pandavas as warriors, not cowards", Karna said. "Not again, mitr", Duryodhan said annoyed.

"Why are you not understanding?" Karna asked. "They are your brothers. Kunti mata is your Aunt. You may not realise it now, but when you will realise what we are about to do, you will live your entire life in guilt", Karna said. "As a warrior, does your morals allow you to do this?" Karna asked.

"Morals are nothing in royal family, mitr", Duryodhan said softly. "Only the people who fight for throne, get it", he said further.

"Exactly my point", Karna said. "People who fight. But you are not fighting, you are killing your brothers, by deceit", Karna added. "Just like how...", Karna paused. "How Shon was killed", he whispered as tears flew down his cheeks.

"And they were the ones who stood silent during this, when you kept requesting them to stop this ordeal, Yudhister spoke about dharma", Duryodhan said and noticed Karna getting angry as he remembered it. "Do you still want to save them?" Duryodhana asked.

"I don't want to save them", Karna said ferociously. "I have nothing to do with them", Karna said. "I want to save Mata Kunti", Karna said as his voice cracked.

"You are being too emotional mitr and not looking at the big picture", Duryodhan said. "What do you mean?" Karna asked him. "Mitr. Kunti kaki lost Pandu kaka long back and saw Madri kaki giving her life. Then she nurtured all five sons. She gave Nakul and Sahdev so much love that they don't feel absence of their mother anymore. And, this Varnavrat conspiracy will snatch all her sons from her", Duryodhan said.

Karna looked at him puzzled. Where was he getting it?

"Let's imagine that if you save her, which you will do of course. You take care of her, you give her all respect, first, even if you get the thought of taking her to Anga, which you will get for sure, she won't come as Hastinapura is her house which she can't leave, second, not me, not you, can erase the pain of loosing her sons from her heart", Duryodhana said.

"Will you want her to die with her sons peacefully or see her sons die helplessly and die every second, every day, you tell me", Duryodhan said.

Karna was feeling suffocated. He couldn't refuse Duryodhan. Whatever he was saying, was completely logical. He was feeling as if he was loosing control on himself as he nodded in agreement to whatever Duryodhan said.

"Good. Good night for now. You sleep as well. You need to leave for Anga, I remember", Duryodhan said. He went patting his shoulders.

As soon as Duryodhana left, Karna fell on his knees and broke down crying.

Vanar Kingdom

"Arundhati, what are you thinking?" Asked her three sisters to her. She shook her head with a smile as she rested her head on the pillow.

"Oh...are you thinking about your knight in shining armour?" One of her sisters asked. Arundhati blushed a deeper shade of red hearing it. "No", she said and shut her eyes tightly. "Why would I think about him?" She asked.

"Tell us yourself", another sister said. "A good news for you. Pitashree has decided to visit him in Hastinapura. And, as a sign of showing gratefulness, he will offer you for marriage which you want by heart", her sister said.

"Really?" Arundhati asked as giggled. The three sisters chuckled seeing her.

"B-but, he's already married?" Arundhati asked. "No care. A king can have any number of wives", her sister said. "He won't reject a beauty like you", she said further as Arundhati nodded, smiling.

Hastinapura

"Whatever I did was to help Arundhati as a sign of gratefulness and humanity along with the responsibility of being a king. There are no other motives behind that, Dusshala", Karna said.

Dusshala, sister of Kauravas and Pandavas had come to visit them in Hastinapura after repeated calls from Gandhari who was missing her daughter. And, she was really excited to meet Karn's wives and Duryodhana's wife. Vrushali was also not known to her as she was married immediately after the Princes returned back.

She had met Urvi, though. Considering she was daughter of Kunti mata's friend. Kunti used to often take her to Pukhya as Dusshala felt quite lonely after suddenly loosing the protection of her hundred brothers who would check her every move. And, five brothers got added afterwards out of which the most possessive was Arjun. He loved her to death and was not at all happy with her marriage to Jaydrath. Not the other four also.

So, she was quite upset with what happened with Urvi but couldn't speak in front of Duryodhana fearing his anger. Karna noticed her dilemma and talked to her. She was upset that Urvi went beforehand only and she couldn't meet her. As soon, as the anger in her subsided, Dusshala started chatting about her married life with Karna but mostly she investigated his married life like the normal naughty sister, taking it to some private moments.

Karna was deepest shade of red and all the Kauravas laughed at his plight as Dusshala started whining about her desire to become an aunt that soon Karna tried to distract with his fight with the hunters. However, Dusshala was not the one to give up and decided to ask about his boyish intentions behind helping Arundhati.

"Cmon Dusshala. You never get tired, sister", Karna said as he rolled his eyes and they roamed in the lobby. Dusshala huffed and walked further with an angry frown on her face. Karna sighed and matched her pace. "Ok. Sorry. But, believe me sister, I won't hide it from you. I really don't have any type of intentions, I helped her because of my duty, I promise you on that", Karna said begging her to believe him.

"Fine. No tea", Dusshala pouted. Karna raised his eyebrows. "I got three wives and you say no tea", Karna said in horror. Dusshala shrugged and walked ahead as Karna kept staring at her like any brother would. He was joined by Dusshasan and Duryodhan who laughed heartily seeing it.

Karna had become an important part of this family.

Dasyu Kingdom

"The Paurava are going to meet someone. They have quite a lot of luxury and stuff on board", The Queen explained. Digvija looked at the map intensely. She was determined to steal things from them too so that she can prove her worth in front of her mother.

"Steal the stuff from them and if necessary, kill them", The Queen said. Paurava and Dasyu were arch enemies.

"I will bring them in front of you, alive. And, kill them in front of everyone", Digvija said with challenging eyes as she looked at her parents and brother.

Hastinapura

Karna noticed with his peripheral vision that Supriya and Vrushali had long slept but Kirti was looking really worried.

"Kirti", Karna said softly. "Arya", Kirti whispered. Karna got up and went to her side as Kirti sat up and he kneeled down in front of her.

"What happened?" He asked her concerned and looked at her with loving eyes.

Kirti hesitated. "I...am just not feeling...good", she whispered and shivered. "Something bad...something bad", she stuttered as Karna worriedly looked at her.

"Something bad", she repeated. "Is going to happen", she said in fear.
