"And...this will be over in two days", Karna ended.

He was briefing the ministers and army about the war. Digvija was arriving today with Vasudha. Duryodhan and Dussahan were coming for leading the army, along with Digvija and Dusshala was coming to help in medics along with Prakirti.

"So...all ready?" Karna asked in high voice.

"Yes Maharaj", said the soldiers in energetic voice and Karna nodded, smiling. They got into work as Prakirti arranged for all medical stuff along with the maids.

By another hour, he saw Digvija, Duryodhan, Dusshala, Dussahan and Vasudha with large group of army from Hastinapura, coming.

Digvija and Vasudha instantly rushed towards his wives and welcomed Vedika. Soon, they got engaged in laughter.

Karna ruffled Dussahan's hair and pulled Dusshala in a hug, afterwards, she rushed towards his wives and the two girls, as well. Karna hugged Duryodhan and Duryodhan smiled and hugged him back.

The soldiers had the time till night to rest and bid farewell to their families. Afterwards, they would proceed to fight the war.

Anga was really well maintained.

Karn had a welfare association where all widows of soldiers lived along with the families and royals took care of them.

He was just working on his kingdom, even in Hastinapura, he would often look into matters of Anga.

"Come inside", he said and they went to eat food.

"Digvija, I am sure, you are confident and we will win", Karna said and Digvija nodded, smiling brightly.

"After that, I can go home. It's been so long", Digvija said, happily and Karna's smile dropped. He literally forgot that she was only till the war.

He got habitual to her presence.

"Yeah...", he said, seeing how happy she was.

They practiced and practised in the fields and the night came. Karna left with Prakirti, Digvija, Dusshala, Duryodhan and Dussahan.

His wives and Vasudha were emotional and prayed for them.

They reached by next morning and went forward with the war strategy. The warriors of that kingdom were failing.

And soon, they surrendered and left.

"Tell your king to never dare to terrorise the people", Karna shouted.

"This area will now come under Anga, mitr", Duryodhan said.

Karna shook his head.

"No mitr", he said. "Firstly, it's Digvija who has won the war and worked so much for it. Secondly, we fought to free them and if I rule them, there will be point of freeing them. They will have my protection for sure, but they will be free, just like they were before getting under this kingdom's rule", Karna said.

Duryodhan smiled.

His best friend was great!

Karna nodded at the people as they thanked him. They got served with food and entertainment. Prakirti and Dusshala had also done wonderful work in treating the soldiers.

It got over in less than two days.

Afterwards, they went to rest for a while.

Prakirti and Karna spent some time in the tent. He smiled as she laughed at something funny, he told her.

"Arya", she said and hugged him as he hugged her back.

Time passed and they were ready to leave. Hastinapura's and Anga's small part of army stayed there for protection of the people and got accommodated well.

They proceeded back to Anga and reached by night.

They went to sleep immediately as they were really tired. Karna was in his chamber and all his wives were there. They were sleeping on the mattress together, loving their habits of being common like they used to stay in Bhugatgram.

Thinking of that, they would go there only next time.

In morning, they were ready to go to Hastinapura. Karna was yearning to meet his parents.

"Do you really want to go?" Karna asked Digvija.

"Yes, I want to go home", Digvija said, desperately. It was understandable. No one wanted her to go, though. They were sure, her family won't agree even after her winning a war.

"Don't go", Vrushali said.

"I need to go", Digvija said, smiling sadly. She wouldn't lie. She would miss them a lot but she just, couldn't stay here.

It was decided that they would drop Digvija first, only then, they will go to Hastinapura.

They settled on the ships.

His wives were going in three ships, in the other ship, Karna, Duryodhan, Vasudha and Digvija sat.

Dusshala and Dussahan left for Hastinapura.

They were amazed seeing the beautiful pirate kingdom, made on floating ships.

Digvija smiled in tears seeing her kingdom.

As soon as they reached, she jumped on her steps and ran inside. She went towards the boat which held the royal court of the kingdom and her parents and brother stood up. They were in disbelief. It was hard to believe she returned in real after being away for so long.

She hugged her parents as they both hugged her back, followed by her brother.

She cried happily.

"You know mata and pitashree..." She narrated the whole set of events, but like everybody thought, her parents and brother weren't happy.

"You are a girl", her mother stated shattering all her hopes. "You will marry this man and no arguments are accepted from your sight", she added.

Digvija looked at a drunkard looking at her and in lust. She got disgusted seeing it.

"We will keep you in high protection. You are forgetting that you just need to obey as you are our daughter and you are crossing your boundaries", her father said.

"It's me who will be the king", her brother stated.

Digvija was left in tears.

"Fine. I accept your decision", she said half heartedly as she cried. She had left all her hopes to satisfy them as they were never going to agree.

"But I don't accept it", Karna said.

Digvija saw back and Karna was standing furiously with his wives, Vasudha and Duryodhan.

He was glaring hard at her parents.

Karna was so disgusted by these Dasyu king and Queen and crown Prince.

Kirti's parents were genuinely happy now. They had accepted everything for their daughter's happiness.

Urvi's parents did wrong but only for love and concern for their daughter. A letter came and they regretted it and accepted Urvi's choice after Arjun explained them, their daughter's feelings and coaxed them.

But these Dasyu royals had crossed all limits.

"I am taking her back", Karna said and stepped forward. "Come with me, Digvija, you are not going to stay here", he stated.

"You can't take her", her mother screamed.

"I took her hostage and you couldn't do anything", Karna said boldly, suddenly appearing so big that her parents and brother's faces paled.

"I will take her now as well in front of you and you won't be able to do anything", Karna said.

He held Digvija's hand as she looked at him shocked.

"Marry me, Digvija", he said.

Digvija widened her eyes. "Thank you for caring for me, Angraj", she said with a painful smile. "But, I can't do anything now. If this is what my family wants then I will do it", Digvija said.

She started walking towards the drunkard and Karna panicked.

He took out his knife, pulled her back as she dashed into him, he furiously swiped his thumb along the sharp and pointed surface of the knife as blood oozed out and filled her hairline.

Everybody gasped.
