Karna and his wives sat in the hall. Everyone had settled to eat food. Karna noticed Gambhira still looking at him. He decided to not pay attention to it. He started feeding Arundhati and Abhilasha who smiled and ate the food. Everybody awed at him. He ate his food in between too.

"Angraj, a letter has come for you", the soldier interrupted. Karna frowned. "Letter? For me?" He asked. He took the letter from the soldier who bowed and went. His both wives fed him the food as he opened the letter to check what it was.

I am the Princess of Salva kingdom. I want to tell you that I really wish to marry you but my uncle has locked me in prison. He wants me to marry a son of his friend who is known for abusing women. No one has spoken a word against him for that. Because, my whole family is also house arrested. He betrayed us and had been planning all this behind our backs.

It's a kind request to you to kindly save me from his evil clutches. He has threatened to kill my father if I don't comply to his wishes. I am very scared. I haven't seen the sun rising since a week and it was very difficult to write this letter and send it you. Tomorrow, that family is coming and my uncle is getting me married tomorrow itself.

I will wait for you.

Karn was shocked reading the letter. "What's in the letter, mitr?" Duryodhan asked. "We need to leave for Shalva kingdom, immediately", Karna said. Everyone frowned hearing it.

Arundhati and Abhilasha exchanged worried looks. What happened so suddenly? "Arya, is everything alright?" Arundhati asked him. Karna nodded with a smile. "A princess desires to marry me. And, she's house arrested", Karna showed the letter. Duryodhan stood up and took it.

He read the letter. "We shouldn't delay", he told Karna. Karna nodded. "I will drop you both and Arundhati's sisters to Anga", Karna said. He took blessings from all elders and bid farewell to Chedi royals. The Princesses kept looking at him, those three scowling and other smiling. Karna proceeded with his two wives, Arundhati's sisters and Duryodhan.

"Mitr, I will directly reach Anga after telling Bhanumati about it and checking royal affairs. You start your journey and bid farewell to bhabhi shree", Duryodhan said. Karna nodded. He went and helped the Princesses go on the chariot while he and his two wives stepped on another chariot.

He noticed Gambhira passing glares to Arundhati. He frowned. What's even wrong with her? Thankfully, Arundhati didn't notice it.

They started their journey and soon reached Anga. They rushed in the palace. "Guide the Princesses to the guest chambers, please", he signalled towards Arundhati's sisters and the maids nodded. Gambhira glanced as Karna left with Arundhati and Abhilasha towards the common chamber. Where all his wives resided with his children.

Maids guided them to their chambers. Gambhira looked at Aww at her chamber. It was simply beautiful.

But, then she thought.

Angraj Karna is so handsome. He's such a great warrior. He should have been my husband. Not of Arundhati. Why did she...such a lame girl, get him as her husband

Gambhira was feeling jealous of her own twin sister. She wanted Karn with her at any costs.

Here, Karna had explained everything to his wives and bidding farewell to them, he left the common chamber. He was going when he dashed into Nitara. He held her in his arms before she could fall down. He pulled her up and looked on. Other three, except Gambhira, were also there.

He raised an eyebrow and made Nitara stand. "What are you doing? Why are you running?" He asked the four. They looked down shyly making him look at them amused. Their gazes were not making him feel uncomfortable unlike Gambhira's.

"We were going to meet Arundhati and the Queens and the children", Nitara said. Karna nodded. "Ok. Isn't Gambhira coming?" He asked.

"She is weird kid, lost in her own world. She will come on her own. Can we go Angraj?" Nitara asked with puppy eyes. Karna chuckled. "Of course, wasn't even stopping you", Karna said and signalled them to go. They went.

"Angraj", he heard and looked behind to see Gambhira. She came closer. "I wish you safe journey, Angraj", she said, smiling creepily at him making Karna gulp a bit. He wasn't feeling good with her...at all. "Yeah, thanks", he said. He started going when Gambhira quickly held his hand making him widen his eyes.

"What are you doing?" Karna asked sharply and freed his hand. "Thank you", Gambhira said. She came a little closer and Karna looked away. He didn't like how she held his hand. He just didn't like the feeling. "I was not there so never got the chance to thank you for saving our kingdom. Thank you, Angraj", she said.

Karna looked at her. "It was my duty. No problem. You should in real thank your sister. She took the initiative to ask for help and save her kingdom. She deserves this thanks", Karna told her and Gambhira controlled her urge to just not scowl hearing it. "Yeah", she fake smiled.

Karna nodded. "I am getting late. I need to leave now", Karna said. "Yeah. Come soon, I will be waiting for you, Angraj", she said in a little, what Karna thought, was a seducing tone. "I am sorry?" Karna said, sternly. Gambhira composed herself. "Arundhati will be waiting for you", she said, hiding her anger.

Karna nodded. Without sparing her another glance, he rushed downstairs and smiled seeing Duryodhan. They hugged each other and he stepped on the chariot. They immediately drove off to reach the Princess.

"Soon...soon, you will be mine Angraj", Gambhira smiled in an evil way.

I know I said that Mahabharata will begin after ninety five chapters but my mind is really getting filled with ideas. It was empty that time but now it is completely filled with different love stories of Karna to be shown in Angraj Wives.

So most probably, Angraj Wives will complete one hundred and fifty chapters till the cheerharan episode.

I thought it was no need but I guess there will be two books on Angraj Wives, this one till the cheerharan and the next one after it, till the Kurukshetra war and aftermath.

Also, a book named Angraj's Daughters will be published and they will have their own stories.
