Karna stared jaw drop as the twins approached him. He gulped as he tried to figure out who was his wife.

He looked at them confused. "Identify your wife", Both said in chorus and with a smile. Karna widened his eyes. What type of demand was this?

He looked intensely at both of them and he spotted the ring he gifted to Arundhati. He smiled and pulled Arundhati and she grinned.

"You guessed correct", she giggled and Karna pulled her in a hug.

"Gambhira, I told you that he would never get confused between us and my Arya will choose me only", Arundhati giggled and Gambhira smiled but it look kind of faked.

"Go to meet Duryodhan, he's excited to meet all his bhabhi. I will go and meet King Drupad till then", Karna said and Arundhati nodded and went.

Karna looked at Gambhira. "It was a nice test, princess", he remarked. "Kindly excuse me. Pitashree has been waiting", he said and Gambhira nodded slowly.

Karna went with the three girls following him.

Gambhira looked frustrated as Karna went. "I want you Angraj. I hate seeing Arundhati with you. I will get you anyhow", Gambhira muttered.

Here, Karna reached the king. "Pitashree, pranaam", he said folding his hands and Drupad nodded.

They settled down. Karna sat at the front seat of Drupad while the three girls sat beside the king. Karna waited patiently for Drupad to speak.

"Karna, I need a favour from you", Drupad said.

"Just order Pitashree", Karna said.

Drupad sighed. "Karna, I know what I am asking of you is unbelievable. But can you marry the three?" Drupad asked.

Karna looked wide eyed at Drupad. "Marry?" He asked.

"Yes. Their father wants you to marry his daughters in the same household as Abhilasha. He really loves Abhilasha out of all four. So, he wants you to marry the three princesses. Also, he doesn't want their marriage to happen in Indraprastha, because of the remarriages of Pandavas despite the promise made to Draupadi", Drupad said.

Karna looked at the three princesses who were looking down nervously. "Do they want to marry me?" He asked.

The three looked at Karna and they nodded. "If that's what you want, pitashree. I will do it", Karna said. "But Abhilasha has an idea about it?" Karna asked.

"Yes she has", Drupad replied.

Karna stood up along with Drupad. "I will talk to their father then and set the marriage date", Drupad said and Karna nodded.

"They will reside here only then, Karna. You can bond as well. It's so sudden..." Drupad said.

"As you wish, pitashree", Karna said.

They went outside and bid farewell to Drupad. Karna turned around and smiled at the three.

"Let me guide you to your chambers", he said and took them. He noticed they were really hesitant and nervous.

He guided the three to their rooms one by one and then left to meet his wives.

"Mitr", Karna smiled seeing Duryodhan.

"Mitr", Duryodhan replied back with a smile. Both hugged each other. "Come, let's take a stroll in the garden", Duryodhan said and Karna nodded.

"You will be not surprised to know that Sahdev is also planning to marry", Duryodhan said and snickered as Karna sighed heavily. 

"Just one promise that was asked by Draupadi", Karna huffed. Duryodhan laughed.

"The Chedi princesses are sweet Karna. Except those three, the rest are quiet nice to be with", Duryodhan said. "It makes me shake my head in disbelief that while those three are exactly like Shishupala, you can not help but doubt it in case of the other girls", Duryodhan said.

Karna laughed. "I know right", he chuckled.

"Bhanumati desires to visit Kashmir. I talked to pitashree about it. Mata suggested we wait till Arjun returns from his exile and then go and visit Kashmir. All of us and leave the kingdom in the hands of trusted people", Duryodhan told him. 

"Will it be safe for all to go?" Karna raised his eyebrows. "Like all royals to go?" He asked.

"Trusted officials will be here and spies will be appointed. No one will dare to challenge the Kuru empire, don't worry. And, there will soldiers here. Yeah, many will go with us but still soldiers will be here", Duryodhan said.

"Alright. I guess my wives will also be comfortable for travel by then", Karna said. 

"By the way, what did Maharaj Drupad talk about with you?" Duryodhan asked.

"Well...the three girls who came here from Panchal, he wants me to marry them. He had come here to talk about it", Karna said.

"Really? The way, people are so obsessed with Pandavas, I thought it will be Arjun", Duryodhan said. 

"The way he's marrying despite promising not to and the fact that he's on exile, all hopes died down so Pitashree wants me to marry the three and it's a personal choice to get them married in the same household as Abhilasha. So..." Karna said. 

"Anyways, let's go inside. I am hungry", Duryodhan said.

Karna laughed. "Ok. Let's see what's in the kitchen", Karna said and both of them walked inside.

Karna stopped as he saw Gambhira. "Wait", he said. Gambhira stopped and turned around. "Oh...Angraj", she smiled. "That's Arundhati's", Karna pointed out at the jewellery she was wearing.

"Yeah but we are twins so I can have anything that's her's", Gambhira said.

"That's the jewellery that Kunti mata has given to all my wives as gifts of marriage", Karna said

"Yeah. Princess, only Kuru daughters in law can wear it", Duryodhan said politely.

"Oh...fine I will give it back to her", Gambhira said slowly.

Karna felt bad. "Princess, if you want jewellery like that, I will get you one set like this. I am sorry to tell you to remove it but it is supposed to be given to Kuru vadhus only", he said respectfully.

"Don't worry. I will do as you say", she said looking at him intensely and Karna felt creeped out but he managed to smile and then he and Duryodhan went.

Gambhira looked at his way, smiling.
