Karna was dressed in the soldier's attire and he left for that kingdom. Honestly, he felt really happy that he was back to being an ordinary man.

He loved serving people as king and supporting Duryodhan.

But, old habits die hard.

He was born ordinary so he loved staying as one, especially after such a long time.

He had joined a group going there and entered inside the kingdom. Now, only completing his mission was left.

He was passing when he heard someone's shouts?!

Princess Meghna

He saw that the soldiers were mercilessly beating a man. A princess was standing there enjoying it while all others stood terrified.

What was happening?!

"Excuse me, what is even going on?" He asked a man who was trembling in fear by just watching the scene.

"Well...he forgot to add the Princess's favourite sweet on her plate by mistake and she got angry, so she's punishing him", The man said.

Karna got furious.

"Hey...stop it", he exclaimed angrily and the torment stopped.

The princess looked at him angrily.

"How dare you stop me?!" She screeched but Karna ignored it as his first priority was helping that man. He made him stand and nodded at other people who held him.

He turned to face the princess and was about to snap at her when he stopped, remembering the mission.

"Princess, will you transfer his punishment on me? I stole the sweet", he said.

That man looked at Karn confused. Why is he lying?

"But...I have never seen you", the park said suspiciously as she looked at him.

"Well...I am a soldier. So why would you know me, princess?" He said calmly and that seemed to convince her.

She nodded at the soldiers who started whipping him but it was like a daily warm up for him so he didn't mind.

After the punishment was over, they went but the princess didn't miss the grateful look the man gave Karna while he stood facing the other side.

She was impressed!

He actually lied! To save someone unknown to him.

"Thank you, bhadr", that man said and Karna smiled and hugged him. That man went, continuing singing praises for Karna.

Karna moved to the palace with the troop and soon got recruited.

After two weeks

He was worried about his wives and missing them.

Worry was natural as he was their husband and well...about missing.

Karna sighed.

Today, they were going to the Dasarna kingdom to meet some princes there.

And yes! They were planning to seize Hastinapur by deceive and their target was Yudhister.

Of course he was!

Sometimes he felt bad for how good and truthful Yudhister was (except Shon's death) while other four were quite smart.

Who could be a perfect target instead of that dharmraj?

Karna hadn't really met that princess again and he was a soldier anyway.

He was standing with his weapons when he saw that princess coming with her other five sisters.

He definitely noticed her giving glares to the youngest of the twin sisters.

Oh...well...yes they are twins.

Basically, there are six sisters. With four single and last two being twins. Strangely, for some years, the youngest vanished in thin air for a few years and returned back later only to be quite rude and smart.

Well...moving on, that cruel princess whom Karna met, what was her name again? Meghna, yes.

Their eyes met.

She made a face but it was like cute angry frown instead of offensive expressions and that made Karna chuckle softly.

She sat in the palanquin and they moved towards that...whatever that kingdom was.

They went towards that kingdom and all those greetings were done.

After that, he moved for his duties.

Few days later

Oh...well.

He was missing his wives and children. He was missing everyone.

This was so hard.

He thought after being to gurukul, he would be accustomed to staying away but damn well, he knew that family is family and living away from them is painful.

He heard that the youngest princess was attacked along with that personal maid of her's but thankfully she was save.

Now he didn't mean murder attack, he meant that someone tried to frame her character by locking her with a random son of a minister.

They escaped somehow.

He sighed. This must be royal politics too. He saw the moon and finally decided to sleep as it was night. Today, he had some more work and due to that mission, he couldn't really eat well so he was extremely tired.

He went in deep sleep.

"What is going on!" This was what he heard and what woke him up. Wasn't it such a nice way to wake someone?! He thought sarcastically.

He opened his eyes only to be surprised. Where was his upperwear now? And, he almost shrieked in surprise when he saw the princess Meghna next to him in not so good condition.

Someone had covered her with cloth. He started hearing people shout they slept together.

Actually, what the hell?!

But then again...he thought awkwardly, it did look like it.

And then the royals graced them with their presence and he saw Meghna tightly clutching her dress and trembling.

He was almost looking ahead with a bored look but then his subconscious snarled and reminded him he was a soldier here so with irritated eyes he looked down.

Mind you...he was not irritated because he had to look down...but because he was woken up so rudely.

"How dare you, Meghna? Is this what I deserve after keeping you for so many years? You tarnished my reputation", her father yelled.

And that over dramatic lecture continued for a while.

"I disown you. She is your responsibility now, Dasarna king", that king of Saurashtra said.

Wow...this was only left.

"No pitashree, please no", she cried and Karna sighed. She must feeling so miserable.

He can never understand the pain of being abandoned by one's own parents as he never went through that.

"As the princess has done this sin. She should marry this soldier", that youngest princess, whom Meghna was passing glares that day, said.

"How dare you? I won't marry a soldier. How dare you say that?" Meghna screeched.

"Shut up", now the Dasarna crown prince roared. "After doing this, you dare misbehave. You are no more a princess and our responsibility so you will marry. Don't you dare shout at the princess again", he said and passed a knowing look to that youngest and smirked.

So they did this?

The youngest got a bit off and looked away. No... actually she did this and he knew it.

Whatever.

"Sorry darling sister, I can't come in your marriage as princesses can't attend servents wedding", that youngest said.

"Mahraj", Karna said. And, he was agitated now. Who does that with one's own sister?

The royals looked at him.

"First of all, I really don't understand why our marriage is being planned. We haven't asked the princess if she wants this", Karna said.

"Want? She did this so she has too", the youngest said and Karna mentally rolled his eyes.

"I meant her consent for this marriage, not what should or what could happen, princess", he said formally.

"Well...she did this sin so she will marry. I order her too", The king of Saurashtra said.

"Pardon me for this but on what basis are you saying her to marry me?" Karna asked.

"On the basis of being her father. She ruined my reputation so she has to do this", The king said.

THERE!!!

"But you said that she's no more your daughter", Karna said and everybody got taken aback.

Meghna looked at him confused.

"So either you accept your daughter and then tell her to marry or leave her disowned and don't force her to marry me", Karna said, controlling his smirk.
