"You should disperse in your rooms. I guess that you should spend time with your wife and Urvi should rest", Bhishma said and everyone started leaving, obeying his commands.

"Don't try anything with her", Arjun warned and Karna passed him an irritated glance.

"I am not you", Karna said.

"You can never be me", Arjun replied.

"I never want to be you. I have an identity better than yours", Karna said.

Arjun rolled his eyes and went. Karna scoffed.

"Arya, are you going to see that girl?" Kirti asked. Karna nodded at her. "You stay here. I will just come", he said.

Karna went towards the prison.

He heard the sound of sobbing. He went towards that particular cell and saw Digvija crying.

"Go away", Digvija said before he could even enter inside.

"I want to talk to you", Karna said.

"I don't", Digvija said.

"Who's the hostage here?" Karna asked and entered inside when she got quiet.

"I don't want to make you cry", he said.

"Just tell me who are you and why you attacked me. I promise that I will leave you", Karna said.

"I am Digvija, Dasyu princess", Digvija said.

"Why you attacked me?" Karna asked.

"I won't like to answer that", Digvija said.

"Then I won't like to free you", Karna said back.

Digvija sighed.

"Fine", she whined. Karna smiled lightly. She looked up with an angry frown at her face.

"Because of you, I am forced to marry someone", she said.

Karna widened his eyes.

"How?" He asked.

"I wanted to kill Pauravas. You stopped me and my parents got enraged and home arrested me", she said.

"They are my in laws. Of course, I will protect them. But, that's terrible. Why would they do this with you?" He asked.

"Because I am a girl", she snapped.

"I don't get that", he said, shaking his head in confusion.

"My parents want my brother to be the king when he knows nothing. But, just because he's a boy, my parents prefer him and think of me as a burden. They just want me to get married. I thought if I get succeeded in that mission, they will not make me marry but you ruined it", she broke down.

"I am sorry", Karna said, feeling regretful.

"Let me go now", Digvija demanded. "Uh...you want to go back despite everything?" Karna asked.

"Yes", Digvija said instantly.

"I need to talk to Kumar Duryodhan", Karna said.

"I attacked on you. If you can free me, why you need to ask his permission?" Digvija asked.

"Because he's the Prince. My kingdom is Anga. And, I assure you, your freedom", Karna promised.

"I never got it and never will I in my entire life. I am just gonna get married to someone who use me as kid maker machine so don't give me assurance of a dead end", she said, whimpering.

Karna didn't say anything and went. His heart cracked hearing her misery.

"I want to talk to you", Karna entered inside the chamber only to see Duryodhan and Shakuni.

"What happened?" Duryodhan asked worriedly.

"Digvija, the Princess who attacked me. She's in trouble", Karna said.

"She surely is. She shouldn't have attacked you", Duryodhan shrugged.

Karna sighed. "Listen to me. She had a reason. She has been treated like a burden by her family because she's a girl. She wanted to prove herself and that's why she attacked the ship but because I came, her plan failed. And, she started getting angry on me. That's why she attacked me but she's not bad", Karna said. "And now they want to marry her to some man who will just use her to have kids", he added.

"That's terrible", Duryodhan said.

"I was thinking", Karna said sheepishly making Duryodhan raise his eyebrows. "We can shift her to a guarded chamber and give her food rather than that prison, isn't it?" Karna asked.

"She tried to kill you, Karn", Duryodhan sighed. "Don't be so forgiving", he shook his head.

"Please", Karn requested. "She's not bad. I am not saying to free her. You can look in that matter. But, free her", Karna said.

"Uh...well...fine", Duryodhana said making Karna smile. "But, I am not letting this matter go. She's just being shifted to the guarded chamber", Duryodhan said.

"Yes", Karna grinned.

He rushed towards the prison. He entered inside the cell and Digvija looked at him.

"Digvija", he said. "You are not being freed", he said and her face fell. "But...", he said. She looked at him, nervous. "You are being shifted in the guarded chamber. I convinced, Duryodhan", he said.

"I want to go back", she cried in frustration.

"You tried to attack a king", Karna said. "That's not a small thing. I will convince him for that but till then you need to cooperate", he said.

Digvija sighed. "Ok", she said, her shoulders slumped.

"I will free you", he said. "You just need to cooperate with me", he said.

"Yes, fine", Digvija said.

She stood up and followed him out. She looked at the palace stairs, thinking of running. She was expert in that being a pirate.

"Don't even think", Karna chuckled.

"Yes, fine", Digvija pouted making Karna smile and laugh. He made her enter in a room. "You can rest. Food is kept there. You are expected to empty the plate", he said.

Digvija nodded. 

Karna left her in the room and went. He went in his room to see his wives sitting with Urvi and talking.

Urvi was smiling. Now as Arjun met her and she was assured, he was safe.

"I was thinking of departing to Anga in the evening", Karna said.

"But now I feel we will need to wait. There's some trouble with Digvija", Karna said.

"She attacked you", Kalyani and Kirti protested.

"But she wasn't meaning any harm. She was being pressurised by her family to marry and she wanted to get succeeded in her theft to prove them wrong which failed because of me so she attacked me as she was home arrested", Karna said.

"I was thinking of keeping her here till we sort out her marriage issue. Making someone marry forcefully with someone is really wrong, don't you think so?" Karna said.

"She already hates you for failing her motives and you expect that she will take any kind of help from you", Urvi said to him.

"I can try", Karna said.

"We can think about it after coming back. We really want to visit the flower garden in the East", Abhilasha said.

"The air there is quiet good and even their lives a very good doctor who can check upon Urvi. Can she come with us?" Supriya asked with puppy eyes.

"Of course, she can", Karna said and chuckled.

Chapters might be boring but it is needed to introduce characters and for the story flow. I am giving some happy chapters before Mahabharata war starts.

Nothing will be good after that.
