"Who's that?" Karna asked.

"She's princess of Sindhu. She's Jaydrath's sister", Duryodhan said.

Karna had heard about her but he never met her. She didn't even appeared at her own brother's wedding. But...what happened to her?

"What's wrong with her?" Karna asked.

"She's kidnapped", Duryodhan exclaimed. Karna widened his eyes. "What?" He shrieked. "Yes...she's kidnapped by some tribals. They are dangerous, however. And...Jaydrath has asked for your help. You need to leave immediately", Duryodhan said.

"You need to go alone as they demanded you only", Duryodhan added. Karna felt puzzled. "Why me?" He asked. Duryodhan shrugged helplessly.

"I will leave this instant. Tell me where I can find them", Karna said and Duryodhan nodded.

Duryodhan nodded.

The Cave Area

"Is he coming?" Asked the tribal leader.

The man nodded smirked as the Queen clasped her hands in happiness.

"Great. Now it would be fun", the king smirked.

While...in the corner, tied by ropes, the princess was sobbing quietly.

Meanwhile, Karna set immediately for that area where Duryodhan told him to go. Karna noticed the forest area increasing and no sign of human settlement anywhere.

He was sure they were planning something worst to choose such an isolated corner.

He went towards the cave as soon as he saw it and stepped down from the horse. He went in the cave and saw it was dark. He felt really creepy but kept moving.

"Finally...you came", he heard and saw the king smiling at him. Karna scowled. "Where's Sindhu princess?" He asked gritting his teeth. 

"What's so hurry, Angraj?" The king chuckled.

"Listen...tell me immediately where she is. I am sure you won't like to face my wrath", Karna said.

The tribals gulped hearing his angry voice.

"You need to go in that room. You will meet her there", the king ordered. Karna felt suspicious but went there nevertheless.

The Cave did have a path.

As soon as Karna entered inside, the tribals blocked it with big stones somehow.

"Hey!" Karna exclaimed in fury.

Everybody trembled hearing his shout but didn't reply to him.

"A-angraj...", Karna heard and turned around. He widened his eyes seeing the Princess lifeless, her body shaking and eyes dripping close time to time.

He rushed towards her and found her burning in fever. Tears were falling through her eyes and she was squirming uneasily as she cried. Her eyes were completely red and lips parting slightly.

"Princess...what happened?" He asked worriedly.

He heard laughter from outside which boiled his blood. "What happened princess?" He nearly cried out seeing her getting worse, with each passing second.

"We have given her a special medicine, Angraj", The king said from outside.

Karna noticed the marks of stick and fingers on her. She was beaten? How dare they?

"I will make such a medium cut and slit your throats off, that your bodies will tremble in pain as I will watch the lives getting drained out from your headless bodies", Karna growled.

The tribals had gone pale in fear but refused to show it.

"You need to reach us first. But...how will you? With the dying princess?" The king laughed.

Karna looked at Avantika to see she was almost near to closing her eyes and sobs erupting from her mouth were going slower and slower.

"If she closes her eyes, she will never open them again", the king warned.

Karna clenched his jaw as he felt tears filling in his eyes seeing her worst condition. She was in so much of pain. "What have you done with her?" Karna yelled.

"I have given her a medicine that increases her hunger to be claimed. And, if it doesn't happen, she will keep getting frustrated and will be in so much of pain that she will die, which is happening now", The king said.

Karna widened his eyes. "The only way to save her is for you to do the mate process with her, Angraj", The king said. Karna felt his head paining.

"I won't do this", Karna shouted.

"Then watch her die, Angraj. She has just a few hours left. As soon as the sun sets, the sun of her life will also set forever, if you back away", the king laughed.

"Why are you doing this? This is rape. She doesn't want this. Why are you making me commit such a sin? I have done nothing wrong to you", Karna said, his shoulders slumping in defeat.

H-how could he...use a woman?

"That Sindhu king", the tribal leader uttered his name with disgust. "Raped my daughter and this is my revenge. Her sister will go through the same. I have chosen you for this task as you are Duryodhan's best friend and that monster king is the husband of Princess Dusshala. So, if you do this with his sister, Dusshala will suffer and Duryodhan will wage a war against Jaydrath for his sister, Jaydrath is weaker than Kuru warriors and will die", the king laughed.

"You are using a woman to take revenge? You are not bringing justice to your daughter but just satisfying your ego. And...why are you staking my sister and my friendship with Duryodhan in this?" Karna asked angrily.

"Well...I got help from King Pandu and hence, hate Duryodhan for his injustice towards Pandavas. You are the closest to him so I will use to break him", The king said.

"Jaydrath will also die and Duryodhan will loose his biggest and mightiest supporter hence bending down in front of Pandavas", the king laughed.

"Now it's for you to decide Angraj. See the Princess die and save your friendship and image of respecting women but seeing Dusshala suffer. Or, doing the deed and loosing your friendship", The king said.

Both were dead ends for Karna.

"I will suggest the second. Jaydrath abuses Dusshala so she will be safe. Jaydrath will die by the hands of Duryodhana. You can marry his sister. Just you will loose that friendship. You can befriend Yudhister. He's the deserving king, anyways", the tribal king said.

Karna felt his soul leaving his body.

If he doesn't save the Princess, Jaydrath will take revenge by abusing Dusshala. Duryodhan will surely understand his reason and support him but Dusshala will suffer life long. Jaydrath won't show it and pretend to be fine but will abuse Dusshala and she will remain quite as she will also understand Karna.

If he saves her, he would be a sinner for using the princess when she was helpless. Jaydrath will be angry then as well and won't hesitate to publicly abuse Dusshala. But, Duryodhan will save her. However, he will be abandoned and tagged a rapist. He will have to marry Avantika and his wives will surely loose all trust on him.

In both cases, he will suffer.

Why always him? Why God puts him in this situation?

What should he do?
