Chapter Eighty Six
Now that Arjun's exile is coming to end, as nothing major happened in Karn's life during this time period and I plan to move on with this soon, Draupadi's cheerharan will come in next four chapters.
And, the great Mahabharata war will begin.
I want to ask if I should write the war in details, how everyone got killed and how the ladies suffered or should I just write the results of each day during the 18 day Kurukshetra war?
Which will be the best?

Karna stood in front of Priya's house. His breath hitched seeing her coming out with a plate in her hand containing red chillies.
Her saree
Karna felt his heart skip seeing her in the saree. But, his heart got pricked with needles, when he saw her blank face, lacking that mischievous and happy side.
She saw him and her eyes widened. The plate fell from her hand scattering all chillies on the ground. Karna smiled softly seeing her.
"What did you do?" Came a shriek.
Her mother in law had shouted on her making her flinch. And, a man, her husband, Karna supposed, came and raised his hand. Karna rushed to him and held his hand. Priya had her eyes closed.
Karna twisted his hand and bone cracking sound came as the man shouted in pain. "The hand which got raised on your dharm patni, doesn't deserve to be attached to your body", Karna growled.
Priya widened her eyes. She cried as Karna kept twisting her husband's hand. "Angraj, please don't", Priya begged. Karna glanced at her. "Please don't, Angraj. I beg you", she fell at his feet.
Karna pushed her husband back making him fall on the cot. "Priya, don't. I am trying to help you. I don't intend to make you cry", he said and gave her an assuring look. She got up.
"Arya", Priya said. She tried to rush to him but Karna stood in front. "Angraj. He's hurt", she said worriedly and looked at her husband.
"And he hurts you daily, Priya. Have you forgotten it?" Karna asked. "Tell me, Priya. Have you forgotten everything? You are worrying about people who don't understand your worth at all? Who don't respect you?" Karna asked.
"Kunti mata has sent a letter. She doesn't want you to live here", Karna said, giving the letter to her as she took it with shaking hands. Karna glared at the family whose faces went pale while Priya was gulping while reading.
"N-no. Please Angraj. I-I can't", Priya said.
"Yes. How can you take her? You are ruining her whole life by ending her marriage", her mother in law smirked. "And, you already make us doubt her character by taking her side. Is something going on or is already done...?"
"ENOUGH! NOT A WORD ANYMORE. DON'T YOU DARE", Karna shouted furiously as everybody flinched by his tone. He was breathing heavily in anger.
"Your mindset explains the reason of my interference in her marriage. I know all the creative secrets about your family so you better not stop me from taking her. Also, you all are arrested. You misbehaved with Priya and also, many more complains have come from people", Karna said. "So kindly shut up and remember your place".
Soldiers arrested them and Priya's father slapped her husband hard as Priya looked down with tears but a sigh of relief escaped her mouth, at the thought of getting freed from this family.
Some looked at the scene unfolding with pride while some passed judgemental looks but no one cared about that.
"But, now how will she live, Angraj?" Her father asked worriedly and Priya's smile fell as she looked at Karna. Karna was taken off by the question and he started pondering on the fact of her being single.
"Marriage is not necessary to prove a girl's place in society but this change will come centuries later. So, I declare that in order to keep her position and respect unharmed in society, I will make her my Queen", Karna said without hesitation, in a strong voice.
"But, if she doesn't want to marry me, then I will respect it and keep her protected from people", he added.
Vallabhi had asked him about this situation and he went clueless. Khyati advised him to marry Priya and his wives agreed.
He couldn't refuse, his wives were his lifelines and he was able to take all major decisions because of them and he was grateful for it, to them. He loved all of them with his heart, truly.
"I will marry you, Angraj. No one can be better for me than the one who stood for me and helped me out. Who fights for a change and knows his dharma. He is the best for me", Priya said with a smile.
Karna smiled back. "Marriage will happen here only", King announced and Karna nodded.
They reached the palace and group of people were praising Karna while many were stuck in their dharma and samaaj thoughts but nobody bat an eye to them.
What mattered was, Priya was safe.
They got married in the palace with celebration.
"Don't worry about me getting pregnant. My husband gave too much attention to another woman and he was not the one who would become a father. God snatched that right from him because of his deeds. Maybe that made him do this with me", she said.
"I wouldn't have cared if you had gotten pregnant. It was not your fault. I would have been a loving father and it's great to know that man got punished by almighty as well. And, his behaviour with you is still not justified", Karna replied back.
They departed for Anga and were welcomed happily.
After a week
"Congrats! Queen Priya is pregnant", The Vaidya told.
Karna was going to faint in happiness. He was so excited that he completed all his duties as fast as he could and went to spend all his remaining time with his wives in common chamber.
