SOMERVILLE HIGH SCHOOL

THE NEXT MORNING, the Saunders Gang and I, along with the other high schoolers, are in the school gym, visiting some college booths.

I visited some of the college booths myself. I'll say that I was just checking them out.

But one did appeal interest to me, and that's Berkeley. Berkeley University.

"Hey, Andy." Zach said, slowly walking up beside me. "So, what college appealed interest to you?"

"Berkeley University." I said to him. "You?"

"Van Pelt University." Zach replied. "Sounds pretty cool to me."

"And I assume that you and Yvonne are going prom together." I said to Zach.

"Yeah. We are." Zach said. "But do you think that Amy Tooney is up to something twisted?"

"Amy Tooney has a psychopathic twisted mind. But let's not talk about Amy anymore, we have prom tonight." I said to Zach.

Zach and I exchange smiles at each other.

In Principal Miss. Bennett's principal's office, I'm sitting in a sofa chair in front of her desk.

"As you already may know of your homeschooling, I would like for you to do a short graduation speech at the graduation ceremony." Principal Miss. Bennett said.

"Really? Yes, ma'am. And I also have been completing my homeschooling work." I said to Principal Miss. Bennett.

"Very well. I look forWard to the graduation." Principal Miss. Bennett said.

"Yes, ma'am." I said.

JEN'S DINER

Gilmore and I are sitting in a booth table across from each other with our milkshakes.

"Aiden told me that you guys kissed and made out." Gilmore said to me.

"Yeah. And I'm sorry, Gillie." I said to her. "I really am."

"It's okay, the gloomy thing is that I wasn't even mad, it's not like Aiden and I were together anyway, he and I have been on and off with our relationship." Gilmore said.

"Still, I'm sorry." I said.

"It's okay, Andy." Gilmore said.

Gilmore and I exchange small smiles at each other and we takes swigs of our milkshakes with straws.

SAUNDERS HOME

THAT NIGHT, Rowan had arrived, dressed up in his formal suit, and is sitting on the three seat sofa with my corsage.

"Angie?" Sharron said.

"I'm coming." I said, and gently walks down the stairs and into the living room.

Rowan and I exchange smiles at each other.

"You look beautiful, Angie Saunders." Rowan said with a smile, slowly walks up to me, and puts on my corsage on my right wrist.

"You look handsome yourself, Rowan Hardy." I replied with a smile.

"Okay, picture." My Mom said.

Rowan and I exchange smiles at each other and he gets behind me, gently wrapping his arms around my waist.

"Okay, say "Cheese". My Dad said.

"Cheese." Rowan and I said in unison.

And my Mom takes the picture with her digital camera.

The school gym is decorated with prom decorations. Decorated tables. The Saunders Gang and I, and the other high school students are dancing. And on the projection is the Saunders Gang and I smiling and goofing around with each other.

Yvonne, Robyn I exchange smiles at each other as we dance.

"I want a picture." Yvonne said, pulling out her phone, and we gently get close to her. "Say "Senior Prom".

"Senior prom." We said in unison with a smiles.

And Yvonne takes the picture of us smiles.

[Song ends]

                                    after-awhile...

Principal Miss. Bennett is on the stage for Senior Prom King and Queen with a microphone.

"Ladies and gentlemen, your Prom King is..." Principal Miss. Bennett said, opening an envelope, with a index card. "... Aiden Anderson!"

Everyone applauds, happily. Aiden walks away, and walks up onto the stage. Principal Miss. Bennett gently puts the Prom King crown atop of his head.

"And now, your Senior Prom Queen is..." Principal Miss. Bennett said, opening an envelope, with a index card. "...Maureen Saunders!"

I become surprised as everyone applauds, happily.

I walks up onto the stage. Principal Miss. Bennett gently puts the Prom Queen crown atop of my head.

Aiden and I exchange looks at each other. He and I gently shakes each other's hands.

"Congratulations, Aidy." I said.

"Congratulations to you too, Angie." Aiden said.

Aiden and I gently pulls away from the handshake and small waves at everyone.

Afterwards, the Saunders Gang, and the other high schoolers are slow dancing together.

Rowan and I exchange small smiles at each other and we share a kiss.

"Congratulations to being Senior Prom Queen." Rowan said to me with a small smile.

"Thanks, Rowdy." I said. "And I'm also happy that we're here at prom together."

"Yeah. Me too." Rowan said.

Rowan and I exchange small smiles at each other and we gently leans our foreheads on each other's.

[Song ends]

                             Minutes later...

I'm slowly wandering around in the empty darkened school hallway.

"Pretty dress, Angie." Jared said.

I look at Jared, annoyed. "What are you doing here, Jared?"

"Enjoying senior prom. Same as you. And by faking your death, it took a toil on Aiden." Jared said.

"What do you want, Jared?" I asked, with a straight face.

"It's not what I want, Angie. It's what Amy Tooney." Jared said to me.

"So, now, you're doing Amy's errands now?" I said to him.

"No, I don't. I'll see you around, Angie." Jared said, and walks away.

Jared walks away, and I squint my eyes at him.

Later on that night, I slowly walks into my nightly bedroom and turns on my nightstand lamplight.

And I become horrified at what's on my double door closet.
