Angie (VO) I'm Angie Saunders. And I live in a small town named Arrington. Sounds familiar, doesn't it? Of course, it does. It's a small town. Yet, complicated. Oddness. But the small town also has a darkness to it as well. But you already know that. I assume. This story tale isn't unicorns and rainbows. It's a story tale with a darkness. And it's just the beginning.

SOMERVILLE HIGH SCHOOL

In the school hallway, high school students are at their lockers, chatting and mingling with each other.

Zach Jennings is at his opened locker, putting his backpack inside his locker.

Connor the Jock slowly walks by him, gently bumping his shoulder with Zach's, causing him to drop his backpack onto the hallway school hallway.

Connor the Jock chuckles. "Oops, my bad."

Annoyed, Zach gets up to his feet and eyes Connor. "What the hell's with you?"

Connor and Zach exchange annoyed looks at each other, causing some attention from the other high school students.

"Or what? What are you gonna do, Loser Zach?" Connor asked, getting into Zach's face.

Connor and Zach exchange looks at each other. And Connor jumps at Zach, making him flinch a little.

Connor chuckles. "You try to be tough, but deep down within you, you're just a loser, Zach Jennings."

"And you're a jackass with a D- in Miss. Sanchez's Science class." I said, slowly walking up to Connor, getting in front of Zach, eyeing Connor the Jock. "Do you have anything else to do other than, playfully teasing Zach?"

Connor and I exchange looks at each other.

"Always the Knight In Shiny Armor, Angie." Connor said, and walks away.

I turn around and looks at Zach. "You okay?"

"Yeah. I had him, by the way." Zach said, looking at me, and smiles a little. "But thanks, Andy."

I smile a little. "It's okay, Zachy."

Zach and I exchange smiles at each other. And Yvonne and Robyn slowly walks to me and gently hugs me.

"Hi, AngieCat." Yvonne and Robyn said in unison.

"Hi, guys." I said.

Zach, Yvonne, Robyn and I are slowly walking in the half empty school hallway, just chatting with each other.

Aiden slowly walks up to us with his hands in his green Somerville varsity jacket pockets.

"Hey, guys." Aiden said.

Zach, Yvonne, Robyn and I looks at Aiden.

"Hey, Aiden." I said.

Aiden and I exchange looks at each other. And Zach, Yvonne and Robyn looks at the both of us.

FLASHBACK; JEN'S DINER

I walks outside of Jen's and walks up to a cab, putting my duffle tote bags in the trunk. Aiden drives up to me on his motorbike and gets off.

"Angie, wait? We need to talk." Aiden said.

"There's nothing else to say, Aidy." I said to him. "And I already know about you and Gilmore."

"I wanted to tell you about me and Gilmore, but I didn't know how."
Aiden said, and glances at the cab. "You're leaving?"

I turned around and looks at Aiden. "Oak Valley. It's a therapy program thing." And slowly walks up to him. "Do you love me? Or not?"

Aiden looks at me, gloomily. "I'm with Gilmore. I'm not the guy for you, Andy. I'm sorry, but I'm not."

I gently nods. And slowly walks away from him, getting into the backseat of the cab and gently closing the cab door. And it drives away.

It starts to rain as Aiden looks at the cab as it drives away.

FLASHBACK ENDS

Aiden and I exchange looks at each other and I walks away from him. He looks at me as I proceeds to walks away from him.

"She can barely talk to me anymore." Aiden said to Zach, Yvonne and Robyn.

"Just give her some space, Aiden." Robyn said to him. "Besides, you and Angie can spend some time together at the formal dance this evening."

Zach, Yvonne, Robyn and Aiden exchange gloomily looks at each other.

SCHOOL GYM

That evening, the Saunders Gang and I, along with other high schoolers, are dressed up in their formal attires.

[Song: Dance Monkey - Tones and I]

Rowan and I slowly walks into the decorated school gym, linked arms.
He's dressed up in a formal suit.

"Oh, wow. This is amazing." Rowan said, glancing around at the formal decorations.

"Yeah. It is." I said to Rowan.

"Hey, Angie." Aiden said, slowly walking up to us, dressed up in his formal suit. "Hey, Rowan."

"Hey, Aidy." I said.

"I'll let you guys talk it out." Rowan said, and slowly walks away.

Aiden and I exchange looks at each other, not knowing what to say to each other.

"I'm sorry for walking away like that at school." I said to Aiden, folding my arms.

"It's okay." Aiden said. "So, Rowan and You."

"We're not together if that's what you're implying." I said to Aiden. "But if Rowan and I were dating, you can't say anything about it because you're with my other best friend, Gilmore."

[Song ends]

"Yeah. You're right. But I still deeply care about you, Andy. I always will." Aiden said.

"I'll see you around, Aidy." I said, walking away from him.

"You're emotionally avoiding me." Aiden said, slowly walking after me.

I turn around and looks at Aiden. "I'm not avoiding you, Aiden."

"Yes, you are. You're doing it right now. You barely spoke to me at school, and now, suddenly, you are." Aiden argued.

And our argument is causing attention from the Saunders Gang.

"You have something to say to me, so, say it." I argued. "What's really with you, Aiden? I came here with Rowan and you asks me about him."

"This has nothing to do with Rowan." Aiden said.

"Of course it is, why else would you asks me about him." I said.

"It's a while since you and I have seen each other, and now, you're saying that you're genuinely happy for me and Gilmore?" Aiden said.

"I am genuinely happy for you and Gilmore, you just don't know me to move on with someone else that's not you." I said to him.

Aiden and I exchange intense looks at each other. Lingering intense looks at each other.

"Guys?" Yvonne said.

Aiden and I looks at Yvonne, Robyn and Zach. And we exchange looks at each other.

"I'm going back to Rowan." I said, walking away from Aiden.

Afterwards, I'm sitting at a decorated table, still a bit annoyed with my argument I had with Aiden.

Rowan slowly walks up to me. "Hey, Angie. Would you like to dance?"

I look up at him and smiles a little. "Yeah. Sure."

Rowan and I gently hold each other's hands and he slowly walks onto the dance floor. He gently pulls me to him. I gently wraps my arms around his neck and gently wraps his arms around my waist.

"Are you okay? Aiden and You seem pretty intense with the argument that you two had." Rowan said.

"Yeah. I'm okay." I said, reassuring Rowan with a small smile. "And I'm sorry."

"It's okay." Rowan said. "Besides, I'm glad I'm here with you, and you look absolutely beautiful."

Rowan and I exchange smiles at each other and gently leans our foreheads on each other's.

At the snack food table, Aiden is looking at Rowan and Me as we slow dance together.

And Gilmore Haynes slowly walks up beside her boyfriend, Aiden, and follows his gaze at Rowan and Me.

"Aiden?" Gilmore said.

Aiden looks at his girlfriend, Gilmore. "Hey, Gilmore."

"What's with you and Angie?" Gilmore asked him.

"Nothing much." Aiden said.

"Would you like to dance?" Gilmore asked.

"Yeah. Sure." Aiden said.

Aiden and Gilmore slowly walks onto the dance floor. She gently wraps her arms around his neck and he gently wraps his arms around her waist.

"I love you, Aiden." Gilmore said.

"I love you too, Gillie." Aiden said.

JEN'S DINER

That night, I'm sitting in a booth table with my ice cream sundae. The diner door opens and closes.

Yvonne, Robyn and Zach slides into the booth table with me.

"Figured you'll be here." Yvonne said. "Are you gonna be okay?"

"Yeah. I'm gonna be fine." I said. "But thanks guys for checking on me."

"You're welcome." Robyn said to me.

"Aiden and you seem intension." Zach said.

"But even though, Aiden and You aren't together, you two are couple-game." Yvonne said.

"Yeah." I said.

Yvonne puts her finger in my ice cream sundae and puts her index finger in her mouth. "The ice cream sundae is really good."

Yvonne, Robyn, Zach and I exchange playfully smiles at each other.

ARRINGTON FACILITY

Amy Tooney is sitting on the floor in her patted cell room, mediating. The patted cell door opens.

An female orderly sets down a tray of food and a soda pop on the table. And closes the door behind her.

Amy opens her eyes and glances at a picture of Angie Saunders on the patted wall.

Amy smiles, mischievously, to herself.
