My dad walks through the front door. "Hey, Dad."

"Sup," Lindsay says.

"Hey hun, happy birthday. Lindsay." He gives me a kiss on the head.

"Thanks," I say.

"Daddy!" Michael gives Dad a hug.

"Hey Mikey, is Rachel here yet?"

"No. Do I have to go?"

"Yes."

"But why?"

"Michael, sit down." They sit on the couch. "Rachel lives just a block away. You can come over to see us anytime you want. Rachel even has another son. He's two years old. You're a big brother! Don't you want that?"

"I guess."

"Good. Now go play with Tommy."
