Avni's Pov

I just closed my eyes so that I can wait for what was going to happen but before that I heard sound of bike coming in super speed. I heard it stopped. I did not get kicked in the face.

"Dude? You look like hunk but you are hitting a girl?" I heard alluring sound of a young man. I opened my eyes just to see a handsome young man was very close to us with his red Honda CBR. He has fair look and he was cool. He had that calm and cool gentleman look but he had a bike that seemed like badass. His brown eyes were mesmerizing. His silky black hair came down on his forehead giving him elegant look.

"Oh! You have got your brother too?" Ricky asked me.

"Yes, any problem? I am protecting my sister. Do you disagree with it?" The boy asked when I was about to deny. The boy smiled at me. I realized that I was about to do mistake by denying. Ricky would have troubled me forever and this boy could protect me.

"No. But it will be fine beating all of you together. And who is he? Another fresh meat?" Ricky pointed to another boy who must be a fresher too.

"It is none of your business. Stop behaving rudely with the new students. It won't be good for you." The boy told Ricky as if he was warning them.

Ricky and his group mates started laughing hard. The boy was laughing too. I just got confused when I saw the boy laughing too.

"You are trying to threaten me? Come on man. Let us see what you can do to handle me." Ricky scoffed and suddenly hit the boy. The boy winced as Ricky's fist came in contact with his face. A bruise was formed instantly. He kept stern though. Ricky raised his fist again but this time the boy not only stopped Ricky but also twisted his hand and threw him far away from us. His eyes were saying something that I didn't knew. Ricky was in pain. His friends came to attack the boy but the boy gave them hard cold stare and they stopped right there as if they were hypnotized and ordered to stop there right that time.

"Now I am going but I will see you later. Especially you, you are going to pay for it. I will make your life hell." He said pointing at me.

"Before you do anything to my girls, I will rip and tear you away." The boy said with strong accent and I just remembered how I commanded my dad that day.

I saw Swathi was smiling like fool.

Ricky turned back to go away. A white Honda Civic Hybrid arrived there splashing water from the roadside on Ricky. Ricky certainly got pissed off and started cursing the driver of car. The car stopped and a girl came out.

She just went very close to him. Ricky was continuously cursing her for wetting him. She just went close to him as if she was about to kiss him. Ricky got confused and thought that girl was about to kiss him and leaned to kiss her. At the instant Ricky was close enough her lips, she blow the gum that she was eating, As soon the gum was stuck on Ricky's face, she pulled her mouth back leaving the blown chewing gum bubble on Ricky's face. By now everyone started clutching their stomach laughing, Even Ricky's friends were laughing as the girl made fool out of Ricky.

"Why did you do this?" Ricky asked.

"You cursed me. You deserve that. It was just a small lesson for you" Girl looked at us. She smirked at Ricky. "Oh I am not like that girl. You better not mess with anyone. Do you understand?" She warned him. I think she knew how Ricky behaved with us.

"Shut up you bitch. I am your senior"

"I know you are old man and always see that you Mind your tongue old man. And my name is Gati Tej."

She walked back to her car turned the car where water was saturated and once more she drive through that water and splashed dirty water on Ricky.

Again Ricky earned laughs.

She slowed a car and asked us to wait for her till she registers her car. We waited there for her.

"I turned to the boy who saved me from Ricky.

"Thanks for saving me at right time. I am Avni and this is my friend Swathi. We registered for Electronics and Telecommunication." I told him extending my hand for shake.

"I am Neel Rathi. I registered for the same. Nice to meet you. No need to say thanks. Protecting you was my duty. As he said I am your brother, how would I let him touch you?" He said smiling. I really loved this sweet brother of mine already.

We shook hand but there was something in our touch that I could not figure. Some sort of power surging into my whole body, as if I am getting some energy. My birth mark started fluttering strangely with unknown intensity that I cannot point on. He made weird face as if he felt it too. But I shook the feeling and ignored the pain that was erupting from birth mark.

"He is my friend Veer. "I saw the other Boy with Neel. He was grinning while looking at Swathi. I wiggled my eyebrows teasingly while Swathi caught me staring at them.

"Thought you guys are really siblings, I mean you both look like fraternal twins." Bhavya said.

"You are too our classmate?" Neel asked Bhavya.

"No. I am from Automobile engineering I reached here early and I was confused where to go in this huge college but I met these two. Did you register your bike?" Bhavya reminded him.

"Oh no. I almost forgot. Wait for me here, we will all go together. I don't want Ricky to hit you guys." Neel said and left for registering his bike. We waited for him and Gati.

By that time many students were in the campus. There were some newcomers too.

Gati came with a girl.

"Hey guys, thanks for wait. I am Gati Tej and this is my cousin Swetha. Did that asshole hurt you? I saw he wanted to hit you. But that boy ... Where is he?" she was obviously asking for Neel.

"He went to register his bike." I replied.

"I am Avni, this is swathi and this is Bhavya." I introduced them too.

"Here he is. You guys are into electronics and communication too?" Gati asked.

"Yes. Only Bhavya is from Automobile."

"Hi. You gave a good chop to Ricky. I am Neel." Neel introduced himself.

"I am Gati and my cousine Swetha."

"It is nice to meet you all. Now let us go?" Gati asked.

We all started walking to our class.

"Hey freshers." A boy asked with cocky smile. He looked like a flirty player yet harmless."I am Esh Waadia and I am your senior. Come on Hold my bag now. You should respect seniors. "He said.

Neel went to say something but another boy kept hand on his shoulders

"Where is your go-kart then?" the boy asked.

"Don't mind him guys we are fresher's too I am Raj and this is my friend..." he stopped his sentence in middle when the boy saw that Esh was gone after group of girls.

"He is flirt. He is brat. I guess I have to catch him before he get slap on his handsome face from those girls." Raj said and ran after Esh.

Both of them were ironic. We all burst out in laughter as we saw veer snatching Esh before he could flirt. We continued walking to college building.

We all reached to the area were Go-Karts were parked.

"Good morning students. Welcome to SIET." A security guard greeted us. He was fully armed as if he was a cop. I really don't understand why such a high security was required in college. My other friends were also looking in awe. I think they must have same question I their mind. By looks on their face I could understand it.

"Show me your cards. I will scan the code. You will be registered here on gates tomorrow. Today your entry is not there. You will be given training to drive these Karts so that you guys can start using them from tomorrow. Principal will tell you guys in today's class about the training." He said politely.

Everything in the college was computerized. Everything here worked on the card that was given on the gate.' our electronic identity card.'

We nodded and entered the college. It was huge. I never expected the hallways to be extremely huge. My jaw dropped. We were once again scanned. There were close circuit cameras attached to almost every corner of the college. It was beautiful and honestly I loved it.

There was something in this college and I felt it slightly mysterious but I shook those stupid feelings out of mind as I was too happy. I got good friends just when I entered and I was in my dream college studying for my future.

"Hey. I found my class .I will see you at lunch." Bhavya said.

"Sure. We will wait for you in cafeteria." All the best for your first class. Tell me if you have problem." Neel said.

"Yes Bhavya. Don't forget that we are there for you." We all said in unison. Bhavya entered her class and we than soon found our class.

"Electronics and telecommunication Engineering---First year." A bright red digital display was glowing indicating this was our class. I felt excited and happy as I was going to start my college life from now.

Through corners of my eyes I saw my friend's expression. They had same glint of happiness as mine.

We entered the class with smiling faces.

I am so tired. We are just informed that we have audits on 22 July. I already look like zombie due to overload. Life is messy when it comes to audits and presentations. 

Nil says my face looks like broken watch and tome is exactly 12.

Anyways.
