It was better that my siblings were taking it in better way than I thought. The day was passing on. As usual our class started with Miss Nilam’s lecture. Other classes were commencing its portion too. Practicals were started and we were happy because we did not have to take notes, instead we had them pre installed on our computer screens.

Cameras obstructed our heavy fun but we were happy and getting accustomed to the rules of SIET. One thing I understood now was that it will be most difficult for us in later stages when we all will know that we are different and we will have to hide our powers from getting captured into these tiny cameras which may alert Cain.

I looked around to see Gati who was awfully quiet. It seemed like she was trying to hide her emotions and avoiding us purposely. I guess she was aware of the situation that we will undergo a lot of pressure during our educational years.

“Avni, are you confused?” Amit stood smiling besides me. His smile was so contagious that I felt my heart beating rapidly as if it was going to explode.

“Shut the hell up Avni, Stop it, otherwise you will explode my ear drums.” Saaj acted dramatically indicating that she could hear my heart beating like crazy, earning smirk from Amit.

“What?” I snapped faking anger.

“They seems handling it bravely unlike you.”He chuckled and once gave me his award winning smile.

“Get lost from here. You are so dirty.” I scoffed once again and Amit busted into fits of laughter.  His laugh was contagious and I felt similar flutter in pit of my stomach. The way his muscles contracted while laughing made me drool over him.

“Stop staring that way Avni, I know I am handsome.” He turned cocky as he saw me staring at him for too long. I had never realised that I was staring at him until he said that and embarrassed at the realisation that I made fool of myself.

“I was not staring and don’t be under impression that you are handsome because you are not and you just imagine it by yourself.” I gave him sarcastic snap which was entirely false and fake smiled which made Saaj to giggle besides me.

“What’s going on here? Monica asked while walking towards us.

“ Nothing , just that someone is is wrong impression that they are handsome.” I said rolling my eyes as I saw Amit making moves showing his toned muscles. And once again he caught me staring.

“Really?” He asked but I ignored him and dragged Monica into cafeteria. We all were really hungry. All of us grabbed sandwitches and coffee.

“Seriously, Cafeteria food tastes like sand.” Gati made a face while eating. I guess she was fond of junk food and did not like healthy food that our cafeteria served.

“Oh No! God, please help, we have some abnormal people who even tasted sand. By the way madam, was it your staple food? I mean sand?” Esh appeared from nowhere teasing Gati and smiling like a fool. This of course hit Gati’s nerves. She snatched bowl of soup from nearby table and emptied it on Esh’s head so fast that he had no time to react to stop her.

“Wow! That was awesome.” Neel said while grabbing his stuff and moving away from Esh and Gati. We followed him quickly because we did not have any intensions to have food bath with them. By the time we finished our breakfast Gati and Esh were full of food from head to toe as they bathed each other with food and food supplements.

“I guess they are always going to trouble us this way.” Everyone agreed.

“Look Foe is fighting. This girl has problem in keeping her hands to herself.” I heard familiar voice behind me. It was Ricky’s sister Riya.

“Ricky is in jail right? Do you want to join him? “ I asked.

“Oh miss adorable, you can’t even stand for yourself and you are trying to defend little whore there? And do you think anyone can put me into jail?” Ricky mocked from behind as I saw rest of students leaving cafeteria quickly. I could see fear in their eyes.

I was about to open my mouth but Saaj pulled me out of cafeteria indicating that we should move out from him but Ricky yanked me forcefully grabbing my arm and threw me across nearby wall . I grunted in pain as I hit the wall.

He again walked towards me for another hit, I closed my eyes and waited for blow but Ricky never hit me.  I opened my eyes to see Esh was right in between me and Ricky and stopped him from hitting me.

“Hello Mister, Be man, Real man never hit girls.” He said with smile but Ricky was not good enough.

“Man? Are you even Man? You look like gay with that pink kart. I am sure you are one, you need to be protected you faggot.” Ricky mocked making all people in cafeteria laugh.

“Are you jealous? You can’t even attract a single girl where as I can attract women and now men too.” Esh gave his signature smile and this time each and every person in surrounding was almost rolling on the floor laughing. Ricky was put to the shame for being a bully.

“You son of...” before Ricky completed his sentence, Esh’s fist collided with Rickys face instantly sending him to floor.

“First of all, speak decent Language man. And just see that you won’t make fool of yourself next time. “He warned but instantly changed his demeanour. “ What a body, what a physic but oh so delicate, oh so weak. You just got hit by gay guy.” Esh said acting like girl. This time Ricky was red. It looked like he wanted to kill Esh but he was to embarrassed by entire college laughing at him.

“You will pay for this.” Ricky threatened while leaving cafeteria with his minions who were trying hard to suppress laugh.

“Let’s go to hostel Esh, You need to clean up. We have loads to do today plus we need to talk.” Raj insisted. But esh was already moving towards beautiful girl and there was no chance that he wouldn’t have tried.”

“Clean yourself first Esh, She will not like you with sauce,” I wiggled my eyebrow.

“Sauce bathed or not, admit it, I am hot babe.”Esh grinned. I slapped my forehead on his stupid attitude.

“Can Ricky be dark follower?” I asked Amit.

“May be, can’t say, we will figure out that later, don’t take tension, and don’t look at everything or everyone suspiciously or don’t trust anyone.  And we will come to girl’s room later. Be ready for talk.”Amit said.

“What is the reason that you want to come to girls hostel? Is it regarding us or is it something like... You want to be with gorgeous girls from hostel? I teased.

“Why? You are jealous?” He rapidly returned the question making me blush.

“Someone is blushing.” Amit teased back. I had no idea why I was blushing but I was caught.

“I am not blushing.” I tried to convince myself more than him. He just laughed and left as he saw Bhavya coming near us.

“Where were you so long?” I asked referring to time as she was late.

“Nothing serious, I did not get output during practical’s so I stayed longer till I got output of work given.” I nodded in agreement but I felt as if she was disappointed.

“Anything is wrong? You look disappointed.” I enquired.

“No big deal. If Ricky was not so stupid; our welcoming party wouldn’t have been postponed for almost month till auditorium is repaired.” She stated with sigh indicating that she was not happy at all.

“That’s good.” I said but I had lots of questions battling in my head thinking whether postponed party will affect us or not. Cain, was our inborn enemy, I wondered how would have we reacted if party took place at desired time. Whether we would have freaked out or not, whether he would have recognized us or not and would he have killed us at that instant? And our dad? Will he recognize us? Will his soul recognize us and embrace us? I actually had idea that it is impossible since dad must not be knowing what is happening. E must not know that his children are coming to rescue his body and soul from demons possession.

“no! He doesn’t know but he knows that he can control demon and repulse his wrong work. He tries his hard to stop him but he can’t. He knows the about the genes taken but nothing about his kids that grew up away from him,” I turned back to see Amit telling me answers to my questions that I was thinking.

“Who gave you permission to peep into my head?” A deep growl erupted from my throat as I felt anger running through every fiber of my body at that instant I saw Amit eyes filled with concern.

“Calm down Avni, your eyes is turning green and you are enlightened with green aura. It won’t be good if people see you.” Amit was into panic as he instantly tried to calm me down.

“Stay out of my thought and you are not my protector so do your work and just stay away from my life, I don’t like people disturbing me again and again. Not at least by putting their head into my brain.” I almost scoffed intimidating him, as I looked into his eyes but instead I felt bad when I saw hurt into his eyes but that was not my mistake at all. He brought it on himself by hearing my thoughts without my permission.

“Okay, this won’t happen again, I am sorry, we are actually directed by authorities to check on your emotional status because your emotions magnify your powers.” Amit was trying to defend himself but my anger was too much, I don’t know why he was shivering, I was not powerful but I guess he was trying to calm me down.

“That doesn’t justify what you did. You are not allowed to do anything to interrupt us.” I flouted in derision.

“ I said , I am sorry.” Amit took defensive side and it calmed me down instantly owing to the fact that he was not cocky guy but a gentleman who accepts his mistake.

“Why and what did you need to talk to us?” I tried to change the topic.

“Will tell you Later, just do your work and be ready till we come.” later that Amit left for his hostel.

I waited for other girls of our group and spoke about our day in the college. It was pretty good even though we had our little food encounter with Ricky and minions. I also told them about the meeting that Amit wanted to take. But Monica, Swathi and Swetha already knew about it. Fortunately we did not have any homework. 

“Why they will come?” Gati asked.

“Don’t know, I guess they have serious conversation to get on with.” I shrugged indicating I don’t know anything that was going to happen.

“But how can they come to girl’s hostel when boys are banished to come here.” Both of them furrowed their eye in confusion.

“They can teleport themselves.” I replied but the look on their face made me grin like fool. It was one of the rarest expressions that I had seen ever. They had their mouth wide open and looked like statues as they stood there dumbfounded.

“One thing I don’t understand, why we need someone to protect us if we are powerful? We can take care of ourselves. Isn’t it?

“Everything in this world happens for a purpose. We do happen for a purpose too, we are given responsibilities and powers for saving humanity but there are possibilities that we lose our track or may be someone bad can use us to fulfill their desires. That’s why we need protectors till we learn to make proper use of powers wisely and not to misuse or go out of control.” I tried to explain those things that I had no idea about but I guess I had answer to question that I did not have idea about. I just smiled remembering my mother’s words when she use to tell me stories with morals and told me that answer of each question Is present around us and instead of understanding it , we spend unnecessary time to find answers to our questions.

“We are harmless; we don’t have any enemies to misuse us.” Gati protested.

We never know, we may have, time will tell us that. There are lots of secrets that we have to know about us. There may be bad or good. Just promise me that you will keep and maintain you calm even if you know something that you don’t like or don’t understand. Exactly the way you did when you realize that you were powerful and you saw that there are more powerful people existing around you.” I tried to explain them the fact or give them hint that whatever will be coming won’t be easy to tolerate.

“I don’t know what to say, right know I am experiencing huge wave of anxiety.” Gati dramatically stretched her hands wide to show us size of her anxiety which looked rather funny while we were in middle of very serious conversation and it did not even seemed like she was joking.

“Drama queen, can you stop acting? I see n signs of anxiety. You are melodramatic Gati.” Saaj was being sarcastic on Gati’s joke but was totally failing to control her emotions.

“I am not acting. It is invisible anxiety, you cannot see it but it is too huge for your tiny eyes.” Gati said making air act and we shook our head.

“I felt awfully tired so I decided to have shower. A nice warm shower washed away tiredness from my body. I felt fresh, so I decided to wear light make up. I wore green comfortable shirt and black skinny jeans with matching bracelet and earring. I looked okay.

“Wow, someone is dressed to impress someone.” Gati appeared suddenly from my back startling me.

“You scared me idiot, and I am not dressed up. Swathi is coming so I decided to be respectful.” I said trying to hide my blush but failed terribly.

“Not buying that. You are blushing for Swathi?  I thought its Amit. Gati teased me wiggling her eyebrows. I jumped on her in attempted to tickle her but once again her speed beat me to it. She moved by side and I hit bed.

“A if you have tendency to catch me.” Gati teased once again, laughing hard and I felt embarrassed. I frowned at her but later we both burst out laughing hard.

Next hour passed laughing and making fun of each other but i could feel tension building in between us.

Exactly at eight I felt slight vibration in air and I knew they were coming. A portal opened in room and I was stunned at sight in front of me. I felt like I was chocking. Right besides protector angels were my siblings. Esh was as usual grinning like fool but still something was off about him , Neel was calm but blank and there was Luv who was distant and had glint of devil like he was going to destroy the world in matter of seconds. His fists were clenched and he had his pupils yellow in color instead of his original black.

“I eyed Amit questioningly.

“They knew. Neel and Esh coped but Luv burnt entire room.” Amit replied.

“Then why did you come here? You should have...” I was stopped before I continue.

“We repaired room before anyone had seen it.” Raj said dryly.

“He won’t burn you since Neel is here since he is water elemental and Luv is fire. Esh major’s space or sky. Luv is blocked out right now because of everyone but Gato can help him in regaining his strength since she is fire elemental as fire needs air to rapidly grow. But if Gati is at higher potential than Luv then Luv’s powers will be suppressed by gati’s powers. Same ways you people can increase maintain and suppress each other’s powers. Avni’s powers are more than any of you so she has higher chances to control and take over you.” We all were listening to Amit with un amused face as we tried to consume what he was telling. 

“They knew since childhood?” I asked.

“Yes, they did since your powers were blazing and resurfacing since childhood. Hence the reason we were created to control you. We were using your powers to control you. We only have tendency to draw powers from others. We are using your powers, so that they don’t disturb you as well as maintain equilibrium between you and rest humans.

Only we and Cain have capacity to use your powers but Cain can’t use your whole powers since they are light powers used for good purpose , same way he can’t use any powers from you at present till he gets to drink your blood in large amount as he is parasitic predator.” A chill ran through my body as Amit explained us.

“Father? Cain? What the hell are you talking about? Luv yelled in full rage, I had full idea that if Luv will not calm now, Gati will be exploding soon.

“I will explain” I touched Luvs arm and he calmed down a bit. I glanced at Neel Telling him to hold down his emotions as I knew Luv couldn’t do anything till Neel is at higher emotional stability then Luv.

“Now explain them about this Angel V/s Demon thing. “ I aggravated Protector Angels as they nodded.

Amit started telling them the truth.

“You are kids of powerful ancient royal family that was created to save humanity from demon who was considered to be brother to human and God but since he had dark evil desires, he was sent away from this world. Demon was as powerful as God and invaded earth and destroyed humans time to time. God created your family and they were excellent in defeating demon time to time until demon increased his powers tremendously and decided to stay on earth and rule it forever. He destroyed whole of your family but what was destiny remained as it is. Your mother was left alive. After some years he realized that one of the Suryavanshi remained alive when war broke between demon and humans. Cain was attacked brutally and his body gave up but he acquired your father’s body because he was powerful and did not want to die. Your mother got killed in war that day but was able to draw powers from Cain and fix into her embryo that were into her brother’s lab. The experiment was carried out to save Suryavanshi genes from getting extinct as everyone knew your mom won’t survive in war. Only one embryo was created but later it split into five according to the elements which makes human body that is Earth , Water , Air, Space and Fire. That day Cain lost his powers but he did not stop, he corrupted peoples mind and made science as his weapon, he is powerful even without his powers. He still has powers as he drinks blood from people having special abilities. Prophecies kept you hidden and protected from his eyes till now so that he doesn’t harm you. He knows that you exist and he tried to find you. He destroyed all the artificial embryos but he knew you survived but till now he wasn’t able to find you but sooner and later he will realize where his power lies.  Your uncle changed his name, profession to protect you and now we are here to train you to save humanity. Avni is the main and most powerful from you.” Amit tried to explain in short but Luv and Gati were too busy increasing their temper rather than calming.

“You said elements? But they are five and we are six? Neel was curious to know.

“Avni is the main embryo and you are splits, Saaj is daughter of the person who created you, your cousin, Doctor Ved’s Daughter. She is not having dark power in her body unlike you but she posses a power of controlling rhythm and that is enough for her to destroy anything. She is less powerful but strong as you.

“Stop all the blurting nonsense. I am not buying anything you are saying; my dad is Arun and not Ved. Got it?” Saaj was red out of anger, a rare expression that I could have seen on her.

“His original name is Ved; He changed his name to protect you guys.” Swathi informed.

While they were arguing, something fueled Gati’s anger and since air supports fire to grow, Luv’s anger hyped too. I felt tremendous heat engulfing me and heat filled air was channeling into formation of tornado, Gati was glowing into her silver aura and her eyes were silver and Luv was glowing into his yellow aura and his eyes were bright yellow. They were gorgeous but there was no time to see their beauty as we knew we had to do something to stop them before they cause any harm and we got exposed right here. Before we could do anything Gati moved out of window and Luv followed her. We ran behind them but they had great speed and vanished into the woods. Amit and Swetha opened portal and ran behind followed but did not take us as they had to react fast. Our room was not burnt since there was lot of water in the room may be protectors use water element against them. We inhaled d faint burned smoke as we saw that Luv’s heat had burned surrounding leaves and some leaves were scattered due to force of air. The path which they moved was clear and we could reach them easily but we were not sure how far they were exactly and if we catch them if we move with the natural human speed.

“We need to be there with them. Can you open portal there?” I asked Raj pleading.

“Teleporting is your power, only Amit and Swathi can use that but I can use Gati’s powers. Hold my hands; we will go as fast as possible.” As Raj said this, we held each other and in matter of seconds we ended up on plateau where all four of them were there. Gati and Luv looked like they were ready to rip each other’s throat out.
