I woke up at sound of alarm, feeling sore and lazy. I had massive headache, I groaned and tried to walk but my stiffened body denied holding me still and gave up. I stumbled and sat back on bed.With a terrible body ache numb legs, I started doing slight loosening up exercises in order to loosen my stiff muscles.

“Hey, good morning, you are up?” Saaj greeted me walking towards me.

“Yeah, I need to wake up with the help of alarm obviously.” I tried to get up once again but my attempt failed Saaj quickly jumped towards me so that she could help me.

“Are you okay? It seems you are not?” Saaj asked with concern that made me smile, She was very caring person.

“I am bit sore and tired; I don’t know the reason though. May be climate change made me go little weak.” I half lied so that she does not have any suspicion but she gave me this weird look where she knew I was lying to her but did not ask a word ,instead she came closer and gently put her hand on my forehead.

“You are burning. I guess you have fever. I will call nurse.” She said while getting up but I stopped her saying I was fine and had just habit of getting mild fever which lasted only for day two.

“Where is Gati? I can’t see her around?” I asked Saaj worrying about last night’s conditions.

“She behaves strangely since yesterday. She is just like you, sometimes sweet and sometimes cold. You know what? You both should have been real sisters. More like twins. You both are bipolar.” Saaj said in between fits of laughter. I just fake pouted but I was grinning like fool since I knew that Gati is my real sister and Saaj too was my sister and soon she will know.

“Why are you smiling so much?” Saaj seemed confused because I was smiling like stupid.

“Nothing, not just her but you are my sister too.” I said with huge smile.

“Hmm. We are family.”She said but I could see huge question mark on her face.

“Are you okay” She asked once again. Her uneasiness and uncomfortable posture made me suspect about her knowing something from last night’s event.

“Can I ask you something?” Saaj seemed uncomfortable.

“Yes, sure, you can ask me anything.” I said trying to calm myself but I was worried.

“Umm... it is something about your heart beat.” She said.

“What? What about my heart beat?” I asked her confused because I had no idea about what she was asking.

“Last night I woke up because of loud sound, it sounded like heartbeat, I thought it was from room next to us but soon realised that everyone were asleep. The sound was coming from our room and from you. At first, I thought it was from iPod or phone that you must have forgot to switch off but after rummaging and searching, I realised that it was your heartbeat and not electronic device. I was surprised because it was too loud. I never heard or thought of human heart beating so loudly. It was kind of unbelievable thing so I went to touch your heart and see what happens and so I did. I placed my hand where your heart is present and it calm down. I still can feel some vibrations and I am sure that this is the stupid that is beating in your body.” Saaj said pointing my heart. She was telling me something that I would have never believed but I know I had to , before something else happened ,I had to make things right and keep them in control, I decided to meet Swathi immediately but I had to play coo land needed to know what exactly happened.

What are you saying? How can heart beat loudly? And was Gati there? Did she hear it too?” I started laughing so that it seemed like joke but inside I knew, I was panicked and worried but by looks I realised that Saaj was serious and getting irritated by my words . That’s when I decided to be serious,

“She was asleep as soon as she came out of bathroom without even caring to wish good night.” Saaj frowned.

“Oh no, we have gym, we can’t be late. Anna will be pissed. If we get late now, Anna will leave us late and that means again skipping breakfast end I can’t go starving to the college.” I attempted to change the topic.

“i will be in five minutes,” I jumped out of bed quickly ignoring my headache and pain so that Saaj does not start conversation on my abnormally loud heart beat.

I brushed my teeth, freshened up and wore my black gym outfit .Saaj was waiting for me but Gati was long gone,

Gym was open and girls already started working out .I turned around to see Gati but instead of working out Gati were lost in her own world staring at space. Today she looked entirely different, she seemed like lost puppy. May be it had something to do with activation; something must have triggered her powers. I had to inform protectors about this and by luck they were entering the gym right that time.

“Hey, Morning, I have to tell you something important regarding yesterday.” I spoke directly without beating bushes or even waiting for them to greet.

“Calm down, are you going for war or is tiger behind you?”Monika burst into laughter as she saw how impatient I was getting.

“Don’t mock me like this.” I said in angry toe but fake smiled too. Monika stooped right then because she knew I was serious and did not wanted to get on my bad side.

“Tell whatever you want to tell.”Swathi told me.

“Saaj said my heart beats loudly and she could hear it. I don’t have any idea if it was really beating that loud or it was just something she thought or may be , it has something to do with power activation? I told her but it almost sounded as question.

“Asking me question? “Swathi laughed.

“Well. I guess it is power activation. She has birth mark of musical note on her arm. There are likely possibilities that she have power related to rhythm. Colour of her birthmark is red.” Monika informed us since she was her  protector.

“She said she kept her hand on my heart and then my heart stopped beating loudly, I said making sheepish face as I knew Monika will tease me later.

“Finally, we have someone that can calm you.” Monika teased. Before I got hyper Swathi started talking.

“It is always said that music calms nerves and eases life. Music can ne remedy in case of depression and frustration, emotional instability can be cured by music treatment. As you know, stress is caused due to emotional instability, May be your heart was beating little louder than usual  due to emotional instability or may be your heart bit not loud but  her active senses trapped it. I  Can’t say anything  until I am sure about it.” Swathi tried to explain everything.

“i know but that’s not  big tension, bigger tension is sitting there.” I pointed to Gati .

“She is quite since activation is taking place . Will she handle properly?” I asked.

“May be yes, may be no, let us worry about that later. We will figure out something. Anna ill shout if we are late for strength boosting training session.” Swathi shrugged and pulled me over work out sessions.

After gym training session, I noticed that Gati was fine and back t her normal behaviour. I saw her arguing with someone from room besides us. We worked almost for one hour and ready to go to room.

“Chase me” Saaj shoulder banged me. She had evil glint in her eyes that said I should chase her before Gati enters bathroom otherwise we have to skip breakfast.

“Done.” I ran behind her before Gati realise it. Few seconds later Gati realised what was going on. She smirked and started running behind us.

We were too ahead while we were outside our room but as we entered room, we saw something passed by us in blur almost not realising what it was but later my eyes got wide as lemon when I saw Gati standing in front of us smirking.

“How was it?” she asked.

What the hell Gati? How did you move so fast? You were in blur.” Saaj yelled.

“I am Gati Tej. The fastest and I am just like you. Powerful.” Gati chuckled while I and Saaj stood there dumbfounded with our mouths wide open.

You knew” I asked not knowing what to say.

“Yes, I did. I knew I was different from my childhood when I use to do things faster than others and could move faster. Sometimes I wished that time stopped during exams so that I could write my answer sheets or wish that class finished early but never realised that my wishes were granted. It happened only sometimes though and later it went dormant with time until yesterday when I wished for time to stop and it worked.” Gati told me some incidents.

“And about us being different?” I asked but she just smiled and walked towards me and pulled my sleeve up to reveal mrk.

“This little thing was glowing in neon green colour while you entered bathroom. The light radiated from it was coming out of your cloths. Same thing happened to me too, I was in pain and I know you were too. I know that is your birth mark. I too have it emitting blue colour.” Gati said pointing my mark.

“Can I see your mark?” I wished to see her mark. She nodded and revealed her mark .It was beautiful and blue in colour that indicated speed.

“i too have birth mark .” Saaj screamed in excitement.

“ I know you are like us too. , you were disturbed last night because of some sound. You were mumbling something about it spoiling your sleep. You thought it was from other room and you were walking to door but then you went to Avnis bed and started checking her only to realise it was her heart beat and you touched it. You were panicked and that was time I realised that you can here sound that I could not hear.” Gati explained how she came to know about Saaj.

“Reveal your mark.” I ordered Saaj and she did. Her mark was in shape of music note and was red in colour.

“I think I should tell protector angels about it.” I mumbled not addressing someone in particular.

What?” Both of them screamed

We will get ready first. We need to talk.” I said. They just nodded and surprisingly all of us got ready faster than other days.

“Hurry up for breakfast, I am starving.”  They groaned but quickly followed me like they were my own personal minions.

In actual I thought that it will be difficult to handle Gati but she was more matured than me and handled situation more sophistically.

“Are we connected somehow?” she asked out of blue which caused me to panic little.

“There is lot to tell you about our self. I did not had any idea about these things before I came here. I will tell you slowly and we are not just three but six. Three girls and three boys and we all are elementals.” She frowned but soon her eyes were sparkling with amusement.

“We are freaks.” She stated as if it was most obvious thing on earth and that annoyed me little bit.

“You are right.” Saaj stated in same tone and it was amazing that my own siblings were making fun of something that was serious.

We headed to breakfast and as assumed, there was healthy breakfast. I looked for our protectors indicating them to wait.

“Don’t worry. Your face tells everything, we will tell them.” Swathi said studying my facial expression and my discomfort.

“They know that they are different and took it in better way than I did. They also knew that we are all alike.” I informed them.

“And about Shakthi?” Swetha questioned.

“They know nothing about that or purpose of us being powerful. They know just about us being different.” I told them truth.

“Oh. We will talk about that later, we will go to classes now.” Monica said.

“Gati, Saaj, these are our protectors, they are angels and not human, their work is to protect us from evil. We are powerful because we are given responsibilities of saving humanity. I know it is difficult to handle but I will explain in details later. Just remember, we are born for good purpose.” I told as I saw mixed emotions and confusion on their faces. Instead of asking more questions, they just nodded.

 “We are six pairs in class, does that mean...?” Saaj stopped as I nodded before she completed question, my sister was quite brilliant.

“Smart. They are, Neel, Esh and Luv are other three elementals but they don’t know yet. They have to figure it by themselves otherwise they may lose control.”

“I think you are right. I was not happy when my parents enrolled me over here but I think this was our destination by destiny. I am glad that I came here.”

We went to college where our friends were waiting for us. our cards were scanned and we were allowed  to get in. We sat in our karts and headed to our classes. We were getting used to boring system of the college where our each move was recorded by the system.

Rest of our day went peacefully. No drama took place except Esh  and Gati were quiet and did not behave or fight like they use to. There was seriousness and maturity seen in their behaviour. Miss Nilam must have observed it too as I saw her raising her eyebrow questioningly as she glared Swathi but Swathi just blinked and she understood.

“We are coming to your room later. Swathi , please be there with others.” Amit whispered receiving nod.

“ is something serious?” I asked.

“I don’t know but I think yes. Amit is worried a little bit.”Swathi said.

I sighed knowing that we had something to deal with; later.
