- Chapter Three -

After a week you quickly adapted, and moved up to expert level. You were highly trained all your life so it wasn't such a big surprise, but to others it sure was. You were trying to find out the Davenport's weaknesses, and trying to strategize the quickest and easiest way to eliminate them.

It was difficult trying to figure things out, it was going to take some time, that was for sure. It looked like your creator was going to just wait patiently until you had a plan, and your creator didn't like waiting for too long.

You were sitting in the Hydra-loop area against the window, reading peacefully, until the Davenport siblings and Leo barged in, disturbing your peaceful reading.

"Guys, I swear I did have electrokinesis, geo-leaping, and everything else you guys had, you have to believe me," Leo pleaded, looking at the three bionic siblings.

"We will once you have those abilities," Bree spoke.

"C'mon, guys!"

"Okay, Electro Boy, we believe you," Chase snorted, clearly not believing him.

Leo sighed as he sat against the window, he was about five feet away from you. You stayed silent until an idea popped into your head.

"You know that I can adsorb memories right?"

"Yeah," Leo replied.

"Well, if what you said is true then show me," you spoke, setting your book down.

Leo shrugged as he slid over to you.

"Okay, what do I have to do?" Leo asked.

"Well, all you have to do is show me your memory, what happened."

"That's all?"

"That's all," you replied.

"How would you be able to see?" he asked.

"With just a simple touch."

You then held onto Leo's arm. As a white flash quickly passed through his arm.

"Now close your eyes and replayed what happened," you instructed.

Leo nodded as he closed his eyes, as you did the same.

Flashback:

The Davenport siblings, Leo, and Mr. Davenport entered the lab.

You let go of Leo's hand snickering, as Leo looked at you confused.

"Why are you laughing?" Leo asked.

"Because you were so small! With your little arms and legs-"

"-Can we just get back, please!" Leo spoke irritated, rolling his eyes.

"Okay, okay jeez," you replied.

"Inventing the Wheel? Boring. Discovering electricity? Snooze. Slice Bread? Lame," Mr. Davenport held his thumbs down.

"Now, Davenport Industries, introduces the world's first Proton Fuser!" Mr. Davenport revealed the invention, as everyone stared unimpressed.

"You know for a scientist, you'd think your payoffs would be a bit more proportional to your build ups," Leo spoke, as Mr. Davenport rolled his eyes.

"Uh, the pay off would be it allows us to see the origins of the universe! This thing subatomic particles we can understand how planets form!" Mr. Davenport explained.

"Well, we already understand how boredom forms," Bree commented, as Mr. Davenport ignored her comment.

"Haven't you ever wondered where stuff comes from? Galaxies, stars, planets?" Mr. Davenport asked.

"This stuff no. Onion Rings, yes," Adam nodded his head smiling.

"Guys, I have always wanted to build this thing and now it's a reality. It's an important life lesson, if you have a dream, believe in it. Because it can happen," Mr. Davenport said, as Chase stepped up.

"Uh, Mr. Davenport, isn't it dangerous to tinker with fabrics of the universe?"

"Haha, he said 'tinker'," Adam chuckled.

"Yes, technically, it can destabilize the earth, open up a worm hole in a parallel universe. But I made it and...I wanna play with it," Mr. Davenport ran over and pushed a few buttons as he turned it on.

"Prepare to be amazed!"

"Or bravely injured," Chase stated, as Adam pushed Chase and Bree back.

They all watched a small blue vortex forming, before it demolished into nothing.

"Once again, big build up, but teeny tiny payoff," Leo informed.

"Hey losers!"

You and Leo opened your eyes, seeing Bob standing in front of you guys, interrupting the flashback.

"Training starts in twenty minutes, don't be late," Bob spoke, walking out to the training area.

"Well, how about we finish this after training session is over?" Leo offered.

"Let's just finish this," you replied.

"Won't we be late though?" Leo asked, furrowing his eyebrows.

"Yes, but you can blame it on me."

"Okay," Leo shrugged, as you held back onto his arm, previously watching what was happening before.

You watched as Leo argued with a woman, who you assumed was his mother, over watching a movie and doing chores. You saw everyone sitting in the living room, watching the movie as Leo took a glance at the TV, laughing until he dropped a dish on the ground, shattering it into pieces.

Leo argued with his mother, known as Tasha, once more before going back down to the lab. There you saw the blue vortex growing bigger as it sucked everything in, including Leo who cried out for help, which was useless since no one heard him.

When Leo entered the parallel universe, Tasha was a billionaire, who owned a company called 'Tasha Technologies'. Leo then went to toss the keys to his mother as it flew straight passed her, and broke through the front door.

Leo's mother, Tasha, then explained to Leo that he had bionics, before leaving. Leo was confused of course and shot lighting bolts from out of his fingers, making the chandelier fall and shatter into a million pieces.

Mr. Davenport the ran in, asking what had happened, from hearing all of the commotion. Leo explained his bionics and asking if he could also fly. You saw leap into the air, only to face plant into the floor. Then Mr. Davenport explained that he was Tasha's lab assistant then a brilliant scientist.

Leo then went to school, which you learned was Mission Creek High. You then saw Perry all dressed up, acting nice, totally the opposite from what she actually was in reality. Later you saw the Davenport duo, or well known as the Hoffersons.

Bree was one of those snobby rich girls, Adam was one of those French poets, and Chase was your typical jock. Total polar opposites from the real world. Leo then tried to explain that they were family, and also that he was bionic now, which was a stupid idea.

When Leo shot lighting bolts from his fingers, the Hoffersons of course, were startled, yelling as they ran out. A little while later, the Hoffersons decided to keep Leo's 'secret', as they hugged it out, until pushing him into an agent. Which you thought before, it was a stupid idea to tell the 'Hoffersons' that he was bionic.

Perry then came to the rescue, knocking the agent down with her cookie tray, as Mr. Davenport entered the school. Perry the ordered Leo to run, which made Leo grab Mr. Davenport as they super sped home.

Once they got home, Mr. Davenport realized that Leo was from a parallel universe. Then agents broke in, holding Leo and Mr. Davenport captive. An agent known as 'Agent Graham', was going to take Leo away to an isolated desert.

Tasha then came in, asking in concern if Leo was alright, to which Leo replied he was fine. Before the agents took Tasha away, she hinted that he had more abilities, before they escorted her out. Mr. Davenport then told Leo that he could Geo-leap them out, which Leo did without hesitation.

They arrived back at Mission Creek as the agents were trying to hunt down Leo and Mr. Davenport once more, as Perry came to the rescue once again, and tricked the agents insisting that Leo was outside, stacking 'school buses'.

Once they left, the Hoffersons came, also trying to find Leo. Leo then Geo-leaped, only realizing that he was in the middle of the hallway. Once the Hoffersons found them in the hallway, Leo super sped out with Mr. Davenport towards home.

When they got there, Leo fought the agents off, before going down to the lab. Mr. Davenport then quickly set up the Proton Fuser, trying to get Leo back into his universe. As the agents tried to break into the lab, Mr. Davenport explained that once he goes back, Everything will reset back to normal.

Once Leo went through the warm hole, he noticed that he was in the lab, and quickly rushed up to see he was, indeed back to his own universe. He was grateful and explained that he traveled through a parallel universe, which of course no one believed him.

Leo had also promised to always do his chores, but nonetheless, he was grateful to be back home.

When he finished showing the memory, you spoke.

"Wow, and they don't believe you?"

Leo shook his head no and right when he was about to speak, Bree came in along with Adam and Chase.

"Aww, look guys they're holding hands," Bree pointed out, to yours and Leo's hands, which you didn't know how that happened.

You quickly let go, with an expressionless face, unfazed as Leo scratched the back of his neck.

"He was just showing me a memory, nothing to it," you shrugged.

Bree slightly pouted, not getting any reaction from you.

"You both missed your training sessions," Chase stated firmly, crossing his arms.

"We did, didn't we," you smirked.

"Since you're new here, I'll let it slide and not give you detention, but you will be running around the whole island twice, along with Leo," Chase spoke sternly.

You just shrugged standing up, as Leo followed suite. You smirked at Chase as you and Leo walked out.

"Oh, and [Name]," Leo spoke, stopping to look at you.

"Yeah?"

"Just wanted to say thank you, for believing me," Leo smiled, slightly.

You shifted uncomfortably, not used to being thanked for.

"Anytime," you replied coolly as you both began to run.
