"Darling can we please talk about something else," Kol spoke childishly.
Kol had sat on the ground, the grassy field surrounding him, and Emily following in suit. Kol did not want to talk about the unconscious state that he was in at the moment, him being in a deep slumber.
He wanted to ignore the detail that he had deemed as minuscule and focus on the girl in front of him.
The girl that he had called Darling, the girl that was the angel of New Orleans, and the girl that he had grown to become fond of.
Therefore, Kol desperately wanted to talk about her, he wanted to get to know her.
From the vision that he has had during this time, that he has been asleep, he's found out so much about the girl, things that one did not think that he would know about her.
This was information that he had gotten only from the vision version of her.
"Fine Kol, I will indulge your curiosity," Emily replied.
Even though she showed that she was in no mood to talk about herself her about him, she was a little curious about Kol. She wanted to get to know more about the Mikaelson who had the notorious reputation for being the flirty one.
"Excellent darling, now, you are a witch?" Kol began.
Emily thought to herself about how to answer this question, it was true that she was a witch.
"I am a witch," Emily responded simply.
She had not wanted to go into detail about her story, and when Kol shuffled closer to Emily, she did not know how to react.
"But..," Kol spoke.
He had left it to Emily to fill in the blanks that were present in her statement. She did not want to.
In truth, there was so much more to Emily's story than her just being a witch, Emily's story is messy and complicated and full of Emily being constantly hurt.
Emily did not know who would want to hear it, though, the reassuring smile that Kol had sent in Emily's direction had erased some of her doubts.
"Fine, I'll tell you it is true, that I am a witch. But I think you know that there is more to my story. It is true, there is so much more to the story than what you think. I don't know if you want to hear it, I mean honestly, no one has ever taken the time to learn of my story," Emily finished.
Even though Emily was deemed as the angel of New Orleans, it did not mean that her story was in the same way that her name was. Emily's story was far from angelic, and she knew it.
Thus, Kol had furrowed eyebrows for a moment, and responded,
"Tell me, and I will decide whether or not your story is interesting," Kol replied.
It was almost as though he was teasing her, for her choice of words. Therefore, Emily took a deep breath, and she had thus begun to tell her side of her story.
