"Who are you?" Nilay asked in a firm voice, breaking the tense quiet between them.

The old man's voice was low, but his words carried a sharp edge. "You made a mistake. Don't you know about that cruelest human on earth?"

Nilay's brows furrowed slightly as he said, "I asked you a question - who are you?".

"It's not important to know who am I. What is important is for you to know the real identity of the Devil", the old man said in a furious tone

Nilay's eyes darkened as his jaw tightened. "Whom are you talking about?"

The old man gave a bitter laugh as his eyes were filled with something between fear and disdain.

"I'm talking about your wife, The DEVIL Princess." He said slowly, each word deliberate.

The old man's gaze locked with Nilay's, his words cutting through the silence. "Do you know what your wife does for her entertainment?"

Nilay's expression remained unreadable, but a flicker of concern flashed in his eyes.

The old man didn't wait for a response.

"She kills people," he said, his voice low and chilling.

Nilay's heart sank for a moment.

"She loves blood... and the suffering of others.", the old man spoke again and Nilay's mind was racing to process the man's words, but he refused to show any sign of weakness.

"Enough, what kind of rubbish are you talking about my wife? You will speak of her with respect, or I will make you regret it.", He said coldly, stepping forward.

The old man's laugh echoed eerily in the quiet, a crazed sound that sent a chill through the air. "You don't believe me? Then look at these pictures and for your information I want to tell you that Your wife is a mafia Princess. The second in line for the throne. She is a ruthless mafia from The Scorpion Satan".

After saying this, without warning, he threw a bundle of photos at Nilay. They scattered across the ground, and Nilay stood frozen, his eyes locked on the images.

His breath caught in his throat as he bent down to pick them up. Each picture was worse than the last- bloody scenes, suffering faces, and images that felt too real to ignore.

Nilay's hands trembled slightly as he held the pictures, his mind racing. He had to stay in control. He had to understand what was happening.

Suddenly, Nilay chuckled softly and chuckle broke the silence. The old man's eyes widened in shock as his confidence was wavering.

"Is this supposed to scare me?" Nilay asked as he tossed the pictures aside like they were nothing.

The old man stepped back. He was clearly surprised as he asked in a shaky voice, "You... you are not shocked?".

Nilay smirked as his deep brown eyes were sharp as he said in an icy tone, "You think I didn't know who she is? Be careful, You are playing with angel's fire".

The old man's voice was filled with confusion and disbelief, "What do you mean that you know about her?"

Nilay's smirk deepened as he took a step closer as his eyes were too cold and piercing.

"Exactly what I said. I know who she is and what she is capable of", He replied calmly.

The old man stared at him as his shock turned into unease, "You know.... Then why...?"

"Because she is mine," Nilay interrupted as his tone was final.

"And no matter what she is done or will do, no one has the right to question her. Not even you", Nilay's tone sent chills to his spine.

The old man's voice trembled slightly, "How did you know?"

Nilay's smirk didn't waver as he crossed his arms.

"I have always known. Her secrets, her darkness... none of it is hidden from me", he said plainly.

The old man's expression shifted to one of disbelief, "Then why stay with her?"

Nilay leaned in slightly, "Because she is my wife. And no matter who or what she is, I will stand by her."

Suddenly, the old man burst into crazed laughter as his face was twisted with madness.

Without warning, he pulled out a knife and lunged at Nilay.

Before he could strike, a figure stepped in front of Nilay, blocking the attack.

The old man froze and his hand was trembling as he recognized the person standing between him and his target.

His eyes widened in shock, and the knife fell from his grasp. "You..." an old man whispered as his voice was barely audible.

The figure was a young woman, her gaze was cold and unflinching. She was Shiny who belonged to the Scorpion Satan, a name that struck fear in many.

"Daughter?" the old man choked out as his voice was filled with disbelief.

Shiny said nothing as her expression was unreadable, but her presence alone was enough to silence him.

"What are you doing, Father?" Shiny asked, her voice was sharp, "Another sin of betraying the Princess?"

The old man's face turned pale and his shock deepened, "You... you are protecting her man? After everything she's done?"

Shiny took a step closer, "You don't understand, do you? Loyalty to the Princess is not a choice. It'a a duty- a bond you should never have broken, father".

The old man's hands trembled while his mind was racing as he stared at his daughter. "You've joined them? She sold you and your sister. She told me herself".

Tears brimmed in the old man's eyes. Shiny took a deep breath and said, "And the Princess.... was the one who also purchased us. She bought me, Father."

The old man's lips trembled, but he couldn't speak.

Shiny's voice dropped, almost to a whisper, as she added, "We were sold by the devil to the devil, father. I was sold to the devil herself."

The old man, once the trusted driver of Avyaan, now stood as a broken figure and was trembling with regret. His betrayal had destroyed everything- the trust of Khadka siblings, his own family, and the loyalty that bound them all.

He looked at Shiny, his once-innocent daughter, now hardened by the cruelty of life. Tears streamed down his wrinkled face as he stammered, "Your... your sister... where is she? Your mother?"

Shiny's gaze didn't waver as she answered in a cold voice that suppressed her pain. "Sister is safe. She is studying abroad. As for me, I joined the Scorpion Satan because it was my choice. And my mother... she was raped and killed by the Python gang leader before Princess could rescue her"

The old man collapsed to his knees, his vision turned blurry as her words pierced his soul. He let out a heart-wrenching scream as his anguish was echoing in the silence.

"Why? Why did this happen to me? What did I do wrong? I was just doing my job, but the Pythons kidnapped your mother," he cried and felt choking on his pain.

Shiny's expression hardened further as she stepped closer. "And your betrayal, Father, changed everything. It ruined us. Why don't you trust your employer? Why don't you share my mother's abduction news with them?"

Suddenly she paused and then said with finality. "It's time to end this. Go back. Don't ever come before the Princess again. She will never forgive you for what you did today."

The old man looked at her as his face was filled with despair and disbelief. He knew the truth of her words- Sunaina would not spare him for attempting to harm Nilay.

"I will not spare her. That bitch lied to me! She told me to reveal the truth about the Princess to you. Said it would break your marriage and make it easier to kill her.", the old man growled as his voice was trembling with rage.

Shiny's eyes narrowed as she stepped closer and asked him, "Whom are you talking about?"

The old man hesitated before spitting out the name with bitterness, "Divita Joseph Lockwood, the new leader of the Pythons."

At those words, Nilay's expression turned ice-cold as his eyes were hardening into a deadly glare.

The atmosphere seemed to grow heavier with the weight of his silent fury.

"Where is your Princess right now?" Nilay asked Shiny as his voice was commanding.

Shiny hesitated as her eyes flickered with uncertainty. She opened her mouth to speak but stopped as she was unsure if she should reveal the information.

Nilay noticed her hesitation and sighed. Without waiting for Shiny's response, he called out sharply, "Nora!"

Nilay knew that Nora had been there all along, hidden from everyone's view, quietly watching over them.

When Nilay called her name, Nora appeared, "I am here, Sir Nilay".

Shiny was shocked, not having noticed Nora before. Nora's attention shifted to the old man who was crying bitterly.

"Where is my wife?" Nilay asked Nora who responded without hesitation as her tone was clear and respectful. "Princess is in New York, attending tomorrow's mafia ball."

Nilay's expression remained unreadable as he processed her words, "Mafia Ball! I see", his mind was already racing with thoughts of what steps to take next.

End of Flashback:-

Sunaina's heart raced, not just from the sudden proximity, but from the unexpected twist in this already chaotic situation.

She hadn't anticipated this, and now, standing in the arms of someone she had never expected to be here, someone who held so much power and control over her heart, mind, body and soul, left her both confused and wary.

The shock of his sudden appearance and his words left her speechless and her breath caught in her throat.

"Husband!", Sunaina whispered softly and at this moment, she felt like a penguin in front of Nilay's tall frame.

But her grip on the gun stayed firm, ready to end Divita's life at any second.

"Yes, wife", Nilay said and voice was firm, like he was declaring to the world.

"Wife?" Sunaina's eyes widened as her gaze was trembling as she looked straight at him, trying to make sense of his words.

Shock and confusion filled her, but Nilay stood calm and his eyes were unyielding. His strong hand gently pulled her closer to him.

His presence was overpowering, his body pressing against hers as he carefully brushed a lock of her hair behind her ear.

Without a second thought, Nilay reached into his pocket and pulled out a silk handkerchief. His movements were smooth, almost effortless, as he used it to gently wipe the blood from her face.

Sunaina stood still, not flinching under his touch. She could feel the warmth of his handkerchief against her skin, and something about the way he treated her- it was soft, yet possessive that made her feel both comforted and more dangerous at the same time.

He wasn't rushed as he was taking his time while his fingers were grazing her skin softly, as though trying to erase the violence of the moment.

Sunaina who was caught in the moment, stayed still. His touch was tender, but there was an intensity in his eyes that mirrored the fire within her. She felt the heat from his body and his presence pulling her closer into his orbit.

When Nilay was done cleaning her face, he paused, his eyes were scanning her with a possessive gaze that left no room for anyone else.

His voice was low and smooth, with an edge of something darker. "No one dares to touch you like that. Not even her."

Sunaina's breath hitched as she met his gaze and the promise of his words sinking in.

Suddenly his gaze shifted to Divita, who was restrained by the shadow men. His expression turned cold and serious, and though he didn't say anything, the weight of his presence was enough to send a clear message to everyone in the room.

"A... B... C... D... E... F... G... H... I... J... K... L... M... N... O... P... Q... R... S... T... U... V... W... X... Y... Z," Nilay said slowly while his cold gaze fixed on Divita.

The room fell silent and Sunaina stared at him with confusion etched on her face.

Even Divita and Shadow men couldn't hide their puzzled expressions.

"What are you saying?", Sunaina asked him.

Nilay smirked as his eyes were still locked on Divita. "I am cursing her in every alphabet". he replied as his voice was laced with dark amusement.

Sunaina was speechless, 'Huh my Angel'.

Divita's face paled and the weight of his words were sinking in as everyone else watched in stunned disbelief.

"Okay, I understand. Then stop looking at her. I don't like it, and you..." Sunaina started to say, but Nilay didn't let her finish.

He suddenly pulled her close, dragging her away from the scene.

Just as they were about to leave, Nilay stopped and turned to the shadow men, and gave a chilling command. "Handle her with extra care. I don't even want her shadow in our life."

His words were cold, and his tone left no room for argument.

Divita's fate was sealed, and the shadow men immediately tightened their grip on her, as Nilay led Sunaina away without a second glance.

Sunaina felt a strange mix of emotions- confusion, anger, and the undeniable pull of Nilay's power.

As Nilay turned away and started dragging Sunaina with him, Divita's eyes burned with fury and obsession.

Her heart pounded as the shadow men tightened their hold on her, but she couldn't keep quiet any longer.

"Nilay! You think you can just walk away? You can't escape me! I will have you", Divita screamed as her voice was filled with madness and desperation.

Her voice echoed through the chaos and, each word was dripping with obsession.

The more she struggled, the more her insanity grew. "You belong to me, Nilay! No one can take your place. Not even her!" Divita hissed while her eyes were blazing as she glared at Sunaina.

Despite the men restraining her, Divita twisted in their grasp and her face contorting with hatred and yearning.

She continued to scream, "I will make you see, Nilay! I will make you realize that I am the one you need".

But Nilay didn't turn back. His expression remained indifferent as he held Sunaina close, his grip unwavering.

The room grew still and except for Divita's crazed rants and her obsession that was evident in every word, "Do you think you can stop me. I am the new leader of Pythons. My gangmen were surrounding the ball room. They will not stop until I kill this bitch today. The gangmen of scorpion Satan are already killed".

And her screams only feeding her delusion that Nilay would eventually choose her.

Sunaina's anger flared like wildfire. She could hear Divita's maddening screams, and it only fueled the rage that was building inside her.

Without thinking, she shifted her body as her hand moved instinctively to the gun still in her grasp.

In a smooth, swift motion, she raised it and aimed directly at Divita. The sound of the bullet firing was deafening, cutting through the chaos of the room.

The bullet pierced Divita's forehead with a sickening precision. For a moment, everything seemed to freeze, the echo of the shot hung in the air.

Divita's eyes were widened in shock, a brief moment of realization flashing across her face before her body crumpled to the ground.

Sunaina stood still as her expression was cold and her anger was now replaced with a sharp calmness. She had dealt with the threat and silenced Divita's obsession with one clean shot.

Nilay's hand loosened over Sunaina's hand. She stood over Divita's lifeless body. She wiped the sweat from her brow while her hand was still gripping the gun. The cold and calculated anger in her eyes was clear.

"You think this was easy, Divita? I have had to endure your tricks, your constant games, your obsession for far too long. Every move you made was a test. Every lie, every manipulation. It was exhausting, and every moment I spent watching you, I knew it was just a matter of time before I had to put an end to it", She took a step closer while her gaze never left Divita's lifeless face.

"I warned you but you never stopped. No one gets between me and what's mine. Not even you. You think I'll let anyone take him from me? Not in a million years. You pushed, and you pushed, testing every boundary I set. Killing you wasn't a choice- it was a task. A task I knew I had to finish, and now... it's done", Her jaw clenched as she continued, her words cutting through the air like a blade.

Her gaze finally shifted to Nilay, standing behind her and the weight of the situation and revelation of her real identity settled in. She didn't need to explain more - her actions had spoken for her. The threat was gone, and so was Divita.

The gun shots caught Nilay's attention as he held Sunaina's hand and said, "let's go out of here".

Sunaina was about to turn to leave with Nilay when she suddenly stopped. "Wait! I have to check on my men. My men are in the ballroom. We can't leave yet,"

Nilay's eyes darkened as his patience was wearing thin. Without warning, he grabbed her arm and pushed her back against the wall while his strong body was pressing her firmly in place.

The space between them closed as he stood in front of her and his intense gaze was locking with hers.

"You only have one man," Nilay said as he raised a finger and pointed directly at himself while his eyes never left hers as he continued, "One man. Me."

He leaned in closer while his breath was warm against her ear as his words were almost a growl. "Nilay Piyush Khanna. Your husband. Your man"

There was no room for argument in his tone, no space for doubt.

Sunaina's heart raced, her breath caught in her throat, the weight of his words and changed in demeanor bewildered her, "What's wrong with my pookie?".
