Shaking breaths and slightly fluttered eyes of her made him stand up from his seat and moved closer to her.

It was another day and she was Unconscious for more than thirty hours. In these thirty hours, all her brain did was reminisce about her past.

Her life with her older brother and it flowed in a cinematic video and it ended up with the bullet that hit her stomach.

“Hey! Ma'am! Are you fine? Are you getting your consciousness back? Can you hear my voice?”

She could hear this voice. She was not familiar with this manly but soft voice and all she could do was to open her eyes forcefully in a snap.

The brightness of the light made her vision blurry for a few seconds as she needed to adjust her vision.

“Ma'am?”, He said and she looked at him.

A handsome and innocent face came before her eyes but her sixth sense made her push him with a force.

He staggered backward as he was speechless. She jumped out of the bed and at the next moment, she threw whatever her hand grabbed it.

And a chair was thrown at him.

Fortunately, He dodged it instantly as he knelt down and looked horrifying at the moment.

Sunaina looked at him and a stabbing pain erupted in her stomach as she clutched her lower abdomen and felt something wet there.

The loud crashing sound alerted everyone who was near the private room and they entered the room and found a man knelt down on the floor while covering his head and a girl who was in hospital clothes, stood up and seemed to be in pain.

He glanced back at the chair lying down on the floor and then looked at the blazing eyes of Sunaina.

She whimpered in pain as she felt like dying but again how could a devil show her vulnerability to anyone?

Her eyes were hard as roaring at him, “Who are you? Who sent you?”.

He stood up on his feet and looked at her vulnerable state. Her clothes were blooded and it seemed that her stitches were open now.

Sunaina's eyes were staring at him as if he was her enemy.

His eyes landed on her hand that was covering her stomach. Her hand which had an Intravenous Cannulation in it was blooded as well.

“Call the doctor now”, He shouted and the onlookers immediately called the doctor.

Sunaina looked at him and he tried to calm her down, “Ma'am! I am Shlok and No one sent me here”.

“Do you think I will believe you?”, Sunaina gritted her teeth as she wanted to move towards him and beat him.

But hard luck, her body was not capable of doing anything right now. She was weak and did not have enough strength to fight with anyone.

“Ma'am! Trust me. I am not here to harm you. The blood flowing out of your stomach is MINE. I was the one who gave blood to you”, Shlok said in a calming tone and Sunaina heard him but she was not calm at all.

“Ma'am, you had a car accident and after that we admitted you to this hospital”, Shlok said but Sunaina was unable to believe him.

Because There were no memories of her being in a car running away from the enemies and accidentally crashing with someone.

“What's going on here?”.

A sudden manly voice made her stumped at the moment. Her heart SKIPPED BEATS as She craned her head and looked at the face.

That face of him gave some sense to her and all the flashes of her accident with him flooded in her head.

With an accelerating heart and shaking body, Sunaina stared deeply at him.

“Nilay! Thanks buddy. You are here. Look, she is not trusting me”, Shlok said and Nilay's eyes were at her.

Nilay found her bleeding again and the lady doctor came to the room.

“Oh my God! What happened here? How did this happen to you? Did you exert your body? Look you are bleeding now”, Doctor spoke and Sunaina took a few steps back from everyone.

Only the face of Nilay was giving solace to her but other faces and their concerning tone seemed poisonous to her.

The doctor quickly observed her movement and she changed her method and spoke to her, “My Child! Don't push yourself so hard. Your wounds and stitches are fresh. You need utmost care. Don't worry. No one here would harm you. This hospital is mine and you are safe here. Both are my nephews”.

Sunaina heard clearly and her body started shaking uncontrollably because of the acidic pain and the blood loss.

Her head spun and eyes rolled slightly and her strength on her body loosened. She held the walls and took support from it.

The doctor took a step towards her but Sunaina said in a cold tone, “Don't come here”.

At this moment, her mind was only sending threats to her. She could not trust anyone. Not the doctors and not Shlok.

Nilay, who was standing there and witnessing the entire scene, took a deep breath and asked her, “Kid, Do you remember me?”.

Sunaina looked at Nilay and her heart quickened its pace. She nodded softly and Nilay walked towards her.

“You told me to protect you and hide you from the world. I did my best to protect you. He is my best friend”, Nilay said and pointed at Shlok who gave a soft smile to her.

“Kid, No one can hurt you. Okay. You need medical treatment. So please cooperate with the doctor. You want to be strong and brave like before, right?”, Nilay said in a sweet angelic tone.

Sunaina blinked her eyes innocently as she did not know how to respond to him.

The way he called KID to her sent thousands of butterflies in her stomach.

He moved closer to her and stood only half of the hand away from her. She could hear her hammering beats of heart and her nostrils were filled with his masculine scent mixed with the cologne that made her heart bounce unexpectedly.

She couldn't look away from his enchanting deep brown eyes that were pulling her soul out of her body.

Her body shook painfully again and Nilay immediately wrapped his arms around her small waist protectively.

And then she fell completely into his arms as her eyes were closed but deep inside, an obsessive smile carved in her heart.

“NILAY”, Her heart whispered softly as his name imprinted on her heart, mind and soul forever.
