Flashback Continued:-
A shadow of mist was flowing from Nilay's eyes as he stared the familiar yet unfamiliar face.
His emotions were deeply hidden in his heart for decades and today, after years, the same face had appeared in front of Nilay's eyes which once used to dominate his heart and mind.
'Tsk', a bitter tongue clicked on the teeth and produced this sound and also showed the annoying and impatient mood of the sound producer.
A masculine arms softly wrapped on Perna's shoulder as she looked at Shlok who shook his head and tried to calm his girlfriend down.
"Why is she here? Damn it. Why the hell she is searching for Nilay? Rage is boiling in my heart. I want to beat her", Perna said grittedly and Shlok sighed weakly but could not himself from brooding over Perna's words.
"Is she stalking Nilay? How could she come here? No, wait. No one knows about Nilay and his actual profession. To the world, he was born with a golden spoon in his mouth and doing nothing but only a few people know exactly about him and his work", Shlok seriously thought and his train of thought broken by Divita's voice.
"Nilay", Divita said in a soft voice which was full of longingness as she grabbed his hand.
Nilay sat stiffly on his chair as he immediately pulled away his hand from her touches.
Her touches made his mind stop working at this moment as he fell into deep and uncomfortable silence.
Unknowingly, his eyes wandered outside of the room, searching for a way to express what was brewing in his heart.
Suddenly he looked at her and called the name, "Divita?".
Divita smiled as she responded happily, "Yes Nilay. I am here. I am happy to see you here. My instincts were telling me that i would be able to meet you here and why not, you love arts and exhibition is the best place to find an art lover. See, I was right and now, we are sitting in front of each other".
Nilay stared blankly at her as he composed his running thoughts and wild beating heart, "Actually, I was not calling you. I had someone else in my mind".
Divita's face fell as she unhurriedly said, "Oh! someone has the same name as mine and you know her too".
Shlok raised his brows amusingly. Perna had a deep frown on her face.
Nilay's eyes turned softer as he thought of Sunaina and his lips curved slightly.
Divita caught the sight of his smile and her heart fell down and she felt threatening about the unknown girl who shared the same name as hers.
"How are you doing?", Divita asked him as her cheeks were tinted pink.
"Everything is good", Nilay replied plain tone and then an awkwardness engulfed between them.
"Nilay! This time I have returned because I am not planning to leave the country again", Divita spoke and Nilay looked at her and asked her in a calm tone, "But why are you telling me this?".
Divita looked deeply into his eyes and replied confidently, "because I already told you that this time I have returned for you".
Nilay's ears rang with her words. An unexpected situation engulfed him and his body stiffened.
"How ridiculous?", Perna snorted and Divita looked at Perna with cold eyes.
Nilay pursed his lips tightly and as he chose not to comment on this matter because his mind already was gazed and now it started throbbing because he constantly called his landline number but no-one was attending the calls.
"What's ridiculous here? Because of some circumstances I left the country and I'm back now and want to pursue the man whom I - -", Divita was speaking but suddenly Shlok disrupted her.
"You left school and country for your higher studies and also because you were not interested in that boy ever. You like that boy but not romantically. You have someone else in your mind that time. And when you were abroad, you got married there to get a green card. Am I right, Mrs. Divita Joseph Lockwood?".
Perna's eyes were digging hole into Divita's body. Divita stiffened at the mention of her husband's name. She could also read the hidden meaning behind Shlok's words that had warning in it. Shlok did not take Nilay's name but indirectly, he said everything to her.
It was an open threat to her.
But Divita ignored Shlok's silent warning and looked at Nilay and said, "Nilay! I will not talk in riddles. Actually I still have your letters. Can you give me a chance to meet again, somewhere else. Only two of us? Can we talk - -".
"Do you know what are you talking about, woman? You are a married woman and now, you are trying to hook up with another man, how shameless?", Perna growled and Shlok held her hand.
"Nilay! You had to go somewhere, right? I am here and will be giving company to Divita", Shlok said and Nilay stood up from his seat as he gave a curt nod to both Shlok and Perna and left without exchanging a word with Divita who stared at Nilay with stunned eyes.
"Nilay", Divita shouted his name.
Nilay turned around and suddenly said in a calm tone as he could understand what Divita was saying and what Shlok was talking about, "Divita! Once upon a time, a fat and chubby boy used to like a beautiful girl who was like a butterfly dancing around the handsome boys. Fatty boy knew that 'That' girl was out of his reach but he still used to like her. That girl was aware of his fondness for her but she used to mock his likeness as well as his looks with her friends in the school. Fatty boy was cute but not handsome. One day, behind the giant tree of the school at the break time, That fatty boy heard every word of hers from her mouth. He understood that Love and affection are all illusions. From that day, fatty boy stopped admiring butterflies".
Divita was stunned as she wanted to say something but Nilay turned around and left for his home.
Divita was heartbroken.
Shlok understood Nilay's words. Perna had a broad smile dancing on her lips as she pulled Shlok out of the room and went to the exhibition centre.
Nilay drove his car while continuing to call the landline number but Sunaina did not receive it.
Two hours later when he stood at the entrance of the house, he pushed the door and thebdoor opened at slight push.
He searched for her in the entire house and every room but Sunaina was nowhere to be seen.
At this moment, all he felt was vulnerable.
There was no news of her. A fear to lose her becoming big by each passing moment.
All he could do was praying for her safety. Nilay ran into the neighborhood and asked the neighbours about Sunaina but no one saw her and had no idea about her.
Back to Sunaina, who left Nilay's house was still on the call with Avyaan and T-Rex drove directly to the BASE.
Stream of tears dropped down on her cheeks as she sniffed and complained to her brother.
"Brother! I am sad and hurt. Brother i am missing you", Sunaina said and Avyaan laughed softly at her words.
"Come home, Naina. Your brother is waiting for you but tell me first who dare to make you cry? I will not spare the life of that person",
"Brother! I'm crying because I'm happy. I'm crying because I'm sad too", Sunaina said as she sniffed again and tried to stop her tears falling down.
"What happened?", Avyaan's voice hardened as he asked her in an impatient tone.
"Brother! Let's not talk about this. Tell me how are you doing? Your health and your broken bones? I hope you are fine now", Sunaina said as she changed the topic of the conversation.
"Naina! Your brother is good. Don't worry", Avyaan replied to her and knew that she did not want to talk about it.
"I prayed for your health and gave your safety keys to Tara. I knew that she would take good care of you and keep you away and safe from the world and also from our enemies", Sunaina said as she mentally thanked Tarana.
But Avyaan's eyes dropped down as he said, "Naina! I have some questions to ask you but I will not ask you. I will wait for you to tell me the truth yourself".
Hearing Avyaan's words, Sunaina wiped her eyes and asked him in a serious tone, "Brother! Do you trust me?".
Avyaan took a deep breath as his eyes stuck in a particular direction.
"I do, Naina. You are my sister. You are the next heir in line for the Empire. I trust your decision as well that's why I am not disappointed to find out that you left me in the hospital, fought alone with the Pythons, got into an accident and then went to follow a man", Avyaan spoke like a school headmaster who was counting all the mischievousness of the school brats.
Sunaina laughed softly and said, "My brother is the best".
"Naina! Your friend is at our house right now and I have no intention of leaving her. You don't have any problem, right?", Avyaan asked as his eyes were staring at Tarana who was talking to Jaikesh.
Sunaina took a deep breath and then exhaled. She thought of her conversation with Tarana and how anxious Tarana was when Sunaina told her to take care of Avyaan.
"Brother! Whatever Tara did, she did it on my instructions. She had done more than her limits for you and for me. I hope she will not get hurt by any means. I don't like to see tears in her eyes. And why not she is the only one who wanted to become my friend and handle my devil side. She protected me and my secrets and now, it's my turn to protect her", Sunaina exclaimed and Avyaan silently heard her.
"I see. I have a reason for doing this", Avyaan spoke and Sunaina could understand as she did not question his brother's action of dragging her best friend into this web.
"I have an important meeting to attend with the members of the Scorpion Satan. I can't disclose any information about this to you right now. I'll wait for you at home", Avyaan said and then he disconnected the call while his gaze was still on Tarana.
Avyaan went for the meeting and Sunaina came and started dealing with Dino.

After settling the matter in the Khadka mansion, Sunaina met her brother and then went to the dinner table, leaving another pair of devil and angel were caught in the unfamiliar webs of emotions.
"Were you asking for something from Naina?", Avyaan asked as his words directly filled fear in her hearts.
The constant stare made it hard for her to ignore. She raised her head again. Avyaan was standing in place, not moving. She clenched her fingers and subconsciously smiled at him.
Nothing", She said and Avyaan's brows furrowed questioningly, "Really?".
Mustering her courage, she opened her mouth in front of him.
"I. I want to go home. My parents are waiting for me, please. I. I did nothing wrong then why am I here?", Tarana stammered nervously even after trying hard to compose herself.
He stared at her for a few seconds and then responded, "Not now".
Listening to this, she looked down immediately at the floor.
Avyaan's emotionless eyes wandered over her and observed how Tarana had fair and delicate skin.
Avyaan kept on watching her and his gaze stopped at her wrists. The red marks were particularly obvious on her fair skin.
His eyebrows were knitted into a slight frown. He turned around and his emotions were hard to decipher.
He knew that those marks were made by him. Those were his fingers marks on her waist. It appeared when he dragged her out of the potter class.
Avyaan's gaze again swept over her wrist and slowly spoke, "Does your wrists hurt?"
She frowned slightly and then glanced at her wrist and only then did Tarana realize what Avyaan was talking about.
"No", she replied to him.
Avyaan did nothing and said nothing, but Tarana couldn't just drive him away either. It was his home and he was the ruler here. She just stood there blankly.
"Don't make others worry," Avyaan said and there were deep intentions hidden in his words of which even he was unaware.
Of course, the 'others' he mentioned, were referring to himself but both Avyaan and Tarana did not understand it and were unaware of it.
Tarana froze as she met Avyaan's eyes. The two of them met each other's gazes.
Avyaan was watching her steadily, not moving. Tarana took a deep breath but she did not speak.
Quietly, Avyaan observed her and, there was an unknown hint of amusement emerging in his eyes.
After observing Tarana for a while, Avyaan suddenly loomed over her.
His tall and sturdy figure hid the light over him as if a faint black shadow had enveloped Tarana.
Avyaan's breath gradually approached her, and as if just her imagination, that feeling was gone.
He lowered his voice and said deeply in a blank tone, "May we have a pleasant cooperation."
His warm breath seemingly brushed away the cold wind, making Tarana stunned for a moment.
His voice was clear and pleasant to the ears as if the sound of rain pitter-pattering on one's heart.
Avyaan straightened himself and the shadow looming over her was gone.
She glanced at his eyes and repeated his words, "May we have a pleasant cooperation."
Avyaan again had an unknown amusement in his eyes but disappeared quickly as he said nothing and he turned around, an inconspicuous smile floated on his lips.
He walked out of the room straight and silently smiling, leaving her confused, "what pleasant cooperation? What does his words mean?".
Tarana was stunned as she had understood that she had fallen into a hidden trap and webs of DEVIL.
