The fiery intensity of the moment left Nilay breathless and his senses faced challenges by the sensation of Sunaina's lips on his chest that caused his mouth to turn dry.

Suddenly a vague smile appeared on Sunaina's lips as she pressed her lips one more time on his chest.

Nilay was flabbergasted as Sunaina's lips pressed against his skin and a wave of sensations swept over him that left his mouth dry with unwanted, unexpected and unidentified desires.

His eyes casted down and looked at the top of the head of Sunaina who moved a little bit away from him but maintained a close distance to him. She looked at him as she lifted her hand and moved closer to his face.

The intensity of the moment left Nilay breathless as his heart pounding in his chest.

Her gaze held his gaze. Her gazes were filled with a mixture of passion and longing, while her fingers which small yet firm traced delicate patterns on his face.

In that electric moment, time seemed to stand still as they lost themselves in each other's gazes and their unknown connections deepened with every heartbeat.

"Nilay, Bahut pasand karti hun apko. Ye Jo mera Dil hai naa; sirf apke liye dharakta hai. Ye Jo meri nazrein hai naa; sirf apke chehre ko hi dekhna pasand karta hai", Sunaina confessed her fondness to him in a low voice as she continued to trace his face.

[Nilay, I like you very much. This heart of mine beats only for you. These eyes of mine love to look not only at your face.]

In that moment, Nilay felt a rush of unknown emotions seeking a place in the corner of his heart. His mind was filled with a whirlwind of emotions as he was caught off guard and his mind raced as he tried to process her words.

His heart fluttered with the realization of her feelings, and he found himself lost in a daze of joy and uncertainty.

Unsure of how to respond, he reacted immediately as he put his forefinger in between her brows and pushed her body away from his and let the fresh air to come and gave him breathe.

Seeing his expression, Sunaina pouted sadly as she blinked her watery eyes and said, "Nilay, I am not joking. I like you and I want to live my life with you. No, wait I want to grow old with you and die in your arms. Do you know you are really Enchanting. I am scared that a woman will come from nowhere and steal you from me".

At the sound of her words, Nilay's body suddenly tensed up, and his eyes were filled with flames and was burning like a sea of red flames.

Nilay controlled his wild thumping heart and looked at her dramatic eyes.

"You are an underage kid. A kid should not talk about love and all. Don't talk nonsense in front of me. I don't like it".

Nilay's response was gentle yet firm and his words tinged with a sense of protectiveness. He gently reminded her of their age gaps that made her furious.

"What are you talking about? I am not a kid. I am a grown up woman. It's you who can't differentiate between an underage girl and an adult young lady", Sunaina humped annoyingly.

As her reaction was understandable that she was feeling hurt and frustrated by Nilay's all time sane repetitive response that made her defend her feelings and identity as a young woman.

On the other hand, Nilay was taken aback by Sunaina's assertive response.

"How old are you?", Nilay asked her with a palpitated shock face and his question reflected his need for clarification,

"I am old enough to marry you legally and carry your babies", Sunaina spoke in a bold tone.

And her response caught Nilay off guard once again and left him speechless as he was uncertain of how to respond to her bold statement.

Her words pushed the boundaries of their conversation.

The sudden sound of choking interrupted the intense moment between Nilay and Sunaina that, brought their conversation to an abrupt halt as they both turned to look the unexpected disturbance.

They both looked at the cab driver choking as if he was trying to hold onto his laugh.

Nilay's cheeks heated up as he slightly glared at her and murmured, "How shameless are you?".

Sunaina was being Sunaina; the straightforward - extrovert DEVIL; frowned deeply and spoke again, "I am not shameless and What is there to be ashamed of?. People get married and also have children. I will get married to you and have your children. Is this not a law of nature? So What is there to be ashamed of?"

Nilay fisted his hand and was about to respond but the cab driver said at this moment, "Sir! Madam! We are here".

Nilay found the car stopped at the main iron gate of the Khanna Mansion. He stepped out of the car and paid the fare. Sunaina immediately followed him like a lost puppy.

The cab driver reversed the car and left the pose area of the capital city but not before blasting into loud laughter.

Back to the Devil who was still babbling while following her Angel, "Nilay! I am telling you the truth. I am not a child. I am twenty five year old woman. You are a twenty eight year old man. So we have only three years and a few months of small gap in between us. So don't think much. I don't mind this trivial matters at all".

Nilay abruptly stopped that caught her off guard and caused her to bump into his back. The collision left her groaning in pain as her nose felt the impact that added another layer of unexpected tension to the moment.

She rubbed her nose while looking at Nilay's cold face and said, "Are you angry about something.
Are you mad at me or did you not like my confession?".

Sunaina's question revealed her concern about Nilay's demeanor as she sensed a shift in his mood.

He stared at her action of rubbing her nose while meeting his cold gaze.

Nilay's height towered over her small frame as he leaned over her face and said in an icy tone, "I forbid you to talk".

Nilay's imposing presence and icy tone left Sunaina taken aback. His command to forbid her from speaking stun her and left her speechless.

Sunaina felt unsettled and silenced as she was uncertain about how to respond to such a sudden and forceful directive.

Despite, the sudden change of atmosphere and feeling unsettled by Nilay's commanding tone, Sunaina gathered herself and responded with an obedience nod like a child.

"Look, I don't care if you are a child or an adult. I don't like you. So throw these nonsensical thoughts away from your pea-sized brain", Nilay's direct words were harsh that pierced the atmosphere and left Sunaina stunned and hurt by their impact.

His rejection cuts deep and causes her to reel with the pain of unrequited feelings.

"You are rejecting me and my confession because you have someone else in your heart, right?", Sunaina asked Nilay and her words cut welcome a heavy silence in between them.
