"I am pregnant... again".

Nilay stood frozen as her words echoed in his mind. He couldn't move. He couldn't think.

'Pregnant? Again?'

His heart thudded loudly in his chest.

He had just learned about the broken blood contract... her engagement to Avyaan... and now this?

His mind was spinning.

But before he could process anything, a loud thud snapped him out of it.

He turned around and found her lying on the floor. Her body limped, eyes were half-closed, hand was still clutching her belly.

"Naina?", Nilay shouted as he rushed to her.

Panic hit him like a wave. He dropped to his knees beside her, lifted her into his arms.

"Naina?".

His loud cracked voice boomed, catching his parents and guards attention.

All of his emotions; confusion, anger, heartbreak vanished in that moment.

Now, only fear remained.

Fear of losing her.

Fear of losing their baby.

Nilay rushed toward the door and Just then, his parents, Nishma and Chase ran into the room as their faces were full of worry.

"What happened to her?" Aashmaan asked, almost shouting.

Nilay didn't stop. His voice shook as he said, "She is unconscious, Mom... I am taking her to the hospital".

He was scared. His heart was beating fast, and his eyes were full of tears, but he didn't let them fall.

Neil quickly moved out of the way and took out his phone to call the driver. Aashmaan followed behind, her hands were shaking.

Something fell down on the floor and caught Aashmaan's eyes as she bent down to pick it up.

Her breath hitched. Neil also curiously leaned forward to get a better look and then he froze.

It was a pregnancy test kit.

The tiny screen displayed a clear, unmistakable positive result.

Aashmaan slowly rose as her wide eyes met Neil's shock face. They both were speechless as they turned to glance at Nilay,

Nilay didn't look back as he was too scared to stop or slowed his speed.

Right now, all he cared about was saving her.

And the fear that he might be too late wouldn't leave his mind.

At The K&K Hospital:-

Sunaina was sitting on the hospital bed. She was awake, but very nervous. Her hands kept moving as she played with her fingers, and her eyes stayed down. She didn't say a word.

Nilay sat next to her, but he didn't look at her. His arms were crossed, and his jaw was tight. He looked lost in deep thought as if he was angry or maybe just confused.

The room was quiet. Too quiet.

Outside, Neil and Aashmaan were waiting impatiently. Neil walked back and forth, while Aashmaan stood still with his arms crossed, watching the door carefully.

No one spoke. They were all waiting; waiting for doctor to say something, anything.

Suddenly a doctor appeared and Neil questioned him, "What's the Result?".

"Have patience, Mr. Khanna", the doctor said to Neil.

Then the door of the private room opened and the doctor stepped in, holding a file and smiling gently.

Nilay stood up from his seat and asked, "The report?".

The doctor looked at Nilay and Sunaina and said, "The result is here. Mrs. Khanna is really pregnant".

Sunaina's hands froze. Her eyes widened, but she stayed quiet. Her heart was thudding against her ribs.

She wanted to cry but she couldn't cry because it was good news.

On the other hand, Nilay slowly turned his head to look at Sunaina. His face showed shock and confusion. He didn't say anything for a few seconds.

He blinked and was trying to understand what he just heard. His mouth opened slightly, but no words came out.

Sunaina looked down again, scared to meet his eyes. Her heart was beating fast because this pregnancy was not unexpected at all. It was pre-planned by Sunaina herself as she tricked Nilay, seduced him and also didn't let him use protection.

She bit her lips as the timing of all situations were tangling together and turning messier now.

First she tested and result was positive and then she thought to disclose about the truth to Nilay.

Nilay finally spoke in a soft voice while looking at the doctor,
"She is... really pregnant?".

The doctor nodded and added,
"Yes, she is already four weeks pregnant and...".

"And?", Nilay asked as his throat constricted.

"And It's twins", Doctor finished speaking and both Sunaina and Nilay were shocked.

"Twins?", Sunaina whispered as her eyes were wide.

Nilay stood up slowly, still not believing it.

"Twins?", he repeated, as if he needed to hear it again to believe it.

Doctor nodded again, "Yes, but we need to re-confirm about the twins after a month it".

Nilay ran his hand through his hair and let out a deep breath. Then he looked at Sunaina again as his face was full of mixed emotions.

He sat down beside her again and put his head in his hands, trying to process everything.

Shock. Worry. Fear.

But deep inside, there was something else too...

A small flicker of love.

The doctor looked serious as he opened the file in his hands.

"But..." he started.

Nilay immediately looked at the doctor.

"Now what?" he asked as his voice was tight with worry.

The doctor took a deep breath and said gently, "This pregnancy is risky for her".

Sunaina's fingers stopped moving. Her heart dropped.

Nilay's brows furrowed in worry.

"Why is it risky?" he asked.

"Mrs. Khanna recently had a miscarriage. Her body hasn't fully recovered yet. There's still weakness; physically and emotionally. Now, with twins, the pressure on her body will be double", the doctor explained and

Sunaina blinked as she was stunned. Her lips trembled.

No one knew about her miscarriage but still, that miscarriage was came back to her.

"Doctor", Sunaina said in a low voice.

Nilay could hear her pain and fear in her voice. When doctors were examined her, Nilay shared miscarriage news with the doctor and requested not to disclose to anyone.

The doctor looked at Sunaina and said in a serious tone, "There's also a risk of early labour, high blood pressure, and internal bleeding. She will need constant monitoring and full bed rest. Even stress can be dangerous for her right now".

Sunaina's heart fell down. She wrapped her arms around her belly in a protective way.

Nilay looked at Sunaina as his eyes were full of pain but he hid it well from her and showed anger to her.

"If she doesn't rest properly or if her body reacts badly... she might lose the babies again," the doctor added softly.

Sunaina gasped. She turned to Nilay and her eyes were filled with tears.

Nilay took a deep breath and said, "I will do everything. I won't let anything happen to her or the babies'.

The doctor nodded,
"She needs support, calm surroundings, and most importantly... love and care."

"I will pay attention to her health and everything", Nilay said and Doctor left.

Sunaina asked Nilay in a soft tone, "Nilay! My Pookie baby! Sab kuch tum karoge to main kya karungi?".

[Nilay! My Pookie baby! If you do everything then what will I do?]

Sunaina knew that he was furious and controlling himself.

Nilay glared at her and said coldly, "Meri Pranpriye! Tum bas saans lo aur mera khoon kam piyo".

[My dearest loveYou just breathe and suck less of my blood]
