A month later, at RATHORE PALACE, Gadh Kingdom, India:-
A grand reception party was in full swing. Outside the palace, reporters and photographers gathered, eager to capture every detail of the night.
The world was shocked by the announcement of Sunaina Khadka and Nilay Khanna's reception.
No one had expected two rival business families, Khadka and Khanna, to unite in a bond of marriage.
Inside the beautifully decorated palace, guests laughed, talked, and celebrated.
The most powerful families; Kashyap, Khanna, Grey, Miller, and Rathore stood alongside the Khadka family.
Avyaan's arms were wrapped around Tarana's waist as she was four month pregnant now. Jaikesh with Kian, Shark, T-Rex, Dino and Nora were high alerted for the security.
Tonight was not just about a reception; it was a new beginning, proving that love could rewrite even the most unexpected stories.
On the stage, Sunaina stood gracefully, dressed in a traditional Rajasthani Rajput poshak, embroidered with gold and rich colors that reflected royalty.
She was not only a devil princess of Scorpion Satan but she was the real princess of Gadh Kingdom now.
Sunaina's outfit flowed elegantly, showcasing the pride and heritage of her lineage.
She was adorned with traditional jewelry, a stunning borla maang tikka resting on her forehead, a heavy kundan necklace gracing her neck, and intricate bangles jingling softly with every movement.
The nath (nose ring) and kamarbandh (waist belt) added to her regal appearance, making her look every bit like a Princess.
With her head held high and eyes full of quiet strength, Sunaina Khadka stood as the new daughter-in-law of the Khanna family, a living symbol of power, elegance, and unshaken pride.
Nilay stood with his brothers, engaged in conversation, but his attention was elsewhere.
His eyes were glued to Sunaina as she spoke with the women of the five powerful families-Khanna, Kashyap, Grey, Miller, and Rathore. Dressed in her traditional Rajasthani Rajput poshak, she looked breathtaking.
The way she carried herself with grace and confidence made her stand out even more.
Her laughter, the way she tilted her head slightly while speaking, and the sparkle in her eyes, everything about her held him captive.
Even in a room full of people, Nilay saw only her, Devil of his heart.
Nilay's elder brother, Abhimanyu Singh Rathore, the King of Gadh, and his wife, Queen Taapur, walked up to him.
"Come with me," Abhimanyu said in a firm yet calm voice.
Without hesitation, Nilay followed. As they made their way to the stage, the room quieted slightly and sensed something important was about to happen.
Standing next to Sunaina, Nilay looked at her. Their eyes met for a brief moment before she shifted her gaze to Abhimanyu Singh Rathore, the powerful ruler of Gadh and then the Queen of Gadh.
Sunaina stood straight and poised, yet there was curiosity in her expression.
Everyone looked at them and waited for the scene to unfold.
Abhimanyu's icy blank eyes softened for a moment as he looked at Sunaina.
"It's for you," Abhimanyu said, his deep voice carrying an air of authority.
Sunaina's brows furrowed in confusion as an attendant stepped forward, carefully handing her a pair of safety gloves.
She looked confusedly at the gloves. Everyone whispered softly as they waited patiently for the next step of the King of Gadh.
"Wear these," Queen of Gadh, Taapur instructed gently.
Sunaina blinked and hesitated for a moment before slipping them on.
'Why did she need gloves?', Sunaina thought.
Another attendant approached as he was carrying a large, ornate box.
Abhimanyu unlocked the box with a soft click. He met Sunaina's gaze as his expression was still unreadable.
"He is yours now. Take care of him," Queen Taapur said as she watched how her husband lifted the lid.
Sunaina sucked in a breath.
Inside was a tiny baby hawk who blinked up at her with pale amber eyes, its fragile body wrapped in soft, downy feathers.
The moment the box was fully opened, the hawklet hopped onto Sunaina's arms without hesitation, pressing its small, warm body against her.
Queen Taapur smiled gently, "He likes you".
Sunaina's heart skipped a beat. A rush of warmth, awe, and an unfamiliar sense of responsibility surged through her. She could feel the Hawklet' tiny heartbeat against her skin.
Hawklet was trusting her.
A hushed silence fell over the hall. The powerful men and women, families, the media, the guests-everyone was frozen in shock.
A hawklet as a reception gift was already unique and powerful, setting the tone that Sunaina was not just another bride; she was a force to be reckoned with.
Nilay who was standing beside Abhimanyu, stiffened. His sharp gaze zeroed in on the baby hawk.
"You can train him," Abhimanyu said with a satisfied nod.
Sunaina glanced at Nilay, expecting to see pride in his eyes. Instead, she caught the flash of something else; something possessive, something almost jealous. She mentally laughed.
Nilay crossed his arms, tilting his head slightly and his expression told her everything, 'So now I have competition?'.
Sunaina slowly looked up at Abhimanyu and Taapur as her emotions were swirling in her eyes.
"Why me?" she whispered.
Abhimanyu glanced at Sunaina and then looked at his wife as there was a knowing look in his eyes.
"Because you are meant for him", He said but there was a silent message for Nilay.
The baby hawk told everyone the hidden meaning of Abhimanyu.
'A princess needs a predator by her side, not just a crown or title'.
The baby hawk was a subtle way of acknowledging Sunaina's strength.
"Nilay told me that you want frosty here. I will give you another one soon", Abhimanyu said in one line.
Taapur looked at her husband and said grumply, "It's the right way to steal your wife's patient, Rana Sa".
Abhimanyu didn't respond as he then looked Nilay blankly as if he wanted to say, 'You tamed her, but can you tame her hawk?"
Taapur gently ran her fingers over the baby hawk's soft feathers. It was small but strong, its tiny pale amber eyes filled with quiet determination. The bird let out a faint cry, as if sensing the weight of its fate.
"He lost his parents and is alone now. But he is strong. You are his master now, so what will be his name?", Taapur said softly.
Everyone turned to Sunaina, waiting for her answer. She didn't think twice. The name came to her naturally, as if it had always been there.
"Papiha," she said.
The room went silent. Everyone repeated the name - Papiha.
Avyaan's hands tightened slightly, and Tarana's breath hitched. Their expressions changed, just for a moment but it was enough. They understood something no one else did.
Nilay's sharp eyes caught their reaction. He frowned slightly, sensing there was more to this name than just a random choice.
The baby hawk tilted its head, watching Sunaina closely. Then, as if recognizing her, it gripped her wrist a little tighter.
The name was chosen. But its meaning... remained a mystery for Nilay.
