🔆Double Update🔆

...

"Not blood-related?", His voice cracked. It was more like a broken whisper than a question.

Avyaan's silence was louder than any confession. His fists were trembling and his jaw was clenching as if holding back a storm of emotions.

Nilay's world was tilted by the weight of Avyaan's words that crushed him.

All these years... Sunaina, the fierce, untouchable Sunaina Khadka wasn't Avyaan's sister by blood.

"You.... You are her... family", Nilay's voice faltered.

Avyaan's gaze dropped to the floor as his silence cut deeper than any answer.

The doctors exchanged anxious glances and one of them spoke in an urgent tone.

"King! We don't have time. The Queen needs blood, and so does the Princess"

"Then what the hell are you waiting for? Go to the blood bank and get in touch with the other hospitals, now and save my sister". Avyaan's voice thundered as he was furious, not at the doctor, but at the cruel twist of fate.

T-Rex, Nora and Dino came forward as Nora spoke first, "We are ready to donate our blood. We have a number of universal donor blood types in scorpion Satan".

Avyaan's chest heaved, "Give a call to your friend".

"You go to sister-in-law. I will be Naina's donor!", Nilay said and Avyaan's eyes flickered with pain and a thousand of unspoken words were clouded behind his cold facade.

Suddenly, a nurse burst out of Tarana's operating room and said in an urgent voice.

"Doctor! Please check on the Queen, the fetus is unstable and weak".

The head doctor quickly ordered, "Prepare for an emergency procedure, now".

The nurse nodded quickly and rushed back inside, the door swinging shut behind her.

Tarana's life and the life of the unborn heir hung by a thread.

Both Nilay and Avyaan were stunned as the nurse's words echoed in their heads.

'The fetus is unstable'.

Avyaan asked the doctor, "What fetus?".

The head doctor removed his mask, as his face was grim, "The Queen is expecting".

The doctor said and Shock rippled through the room.

Everyone stood frozen.

The doctor continued to explain, "But the recent stress, accident and all the chaos took a toll on her body. The fetus... is scared and weak. It's struggling to survive".

Avyaan's head spun, "Tara is pregnant".

His queen. His wife. And now... their child was fighting for life.

Avyaan's stare hardened, his protective instincts roaring to the surface.

"Save Tara. I don't care what it takes", he growled but his heart shattered.

The doctor gave a quick nod and rushed back into the operating room, leaving behind a silence that screamed louder than any threat ever could.

Nilay sat there frozenly as his mind was replaying Sunaina's word

'Brother! If you agree with me, I will share some mind-blowing news with you. Brother, someone has entered your wife's heart. She loves someone else more than she loves you'

"She knows about sister-in-law's pregnancy that's why Naina didn't hesitate to save her", Nilay whispered but it was loud for everyone to hear.

Avyaan's heart dropped down as he looked at Nilay and said, "Kuch bhi karo lekin meri behen ko kuch nahi hona chahiye".

[Do anything but nothing should happen to my sister]

"To fir aap bhi bhabhi ko bachane me koi kasar mat chodna. Jiske liye meri patni ish had tak gayi hai", Nilay said in a firm tone.

[Then leave no stone unturned to save the sister-in-law. For which my wife has gone to this extent]

"We are more than blood", Avyaan said, turned around and went with the doctor.

Leaving Nilay there, who staggered back while his mind was spiraling. His knees buckled, and he grabbed the edge of a chair, his knuckles turned white.

Why did it feel like everything, every truth he thought he knew, was crumbling before his very eyes?

....

Avyaan stood by the hospital bed as his heart was pounding louder than the steady beep of the monitor. Doctors were around her, doing their best.

To him, the room was too white, too cold and a cruel contrast to the woman lying lifelessly before him.

Tarana.

His Tara.

Her face was usually so soft and beautiful was, now looked pale and fragile. Blood stained the bandages wrapped around her leg, a cruel reminder of the night's horror.

Avyaan's hand hovered over hers. He hesitated and was afraid that if he touched her, she might shatter like glass.

His jaw tightened as his vision blurred.

"You were never this quiet, Tara. You always have something to say, even when I don't want to hear it." his voice broke softly.

Silence engulfed him.

His throat ached. The woman who had stood beside him through storms, the woman who had fought his battles as if they were her own was now fighting a battle for her life.

"I told you to stay safe. I told you to listen to me. I told you to trust me but.... You didn't trust me. You didn't give me a chance to explain to you", Avyaan whispered and his voice was rough.

His fingers finally brushed against hers and they were cold and unmoving.

"Don't you dare leave me, Tara. I swear, if you..... You... I will never forgive you", his voice cracked, a raw threat born from unbearable pain.

A tear escaped and was trailing down his cheek and landing on the back of her hand.

"You hear me? I need you... more than I ever told you", he whispered, his lips were trembling.

The monitor beeped softly in response, a painful reminder that she was still breathing.

And Avyaan, the man who had always commanded the world with an iron will, stood there, broken, lost, hoping that the woman he loved would open her eyes again.

"King! Please lay down here", the doctor told him.

Avyaan laid down on a bed, next to her, his eyes never left her and then the procedure of blood intrafusion started.

A few hours ago, at the Secluded Cafe in the Captain Town, Shimla

The cafe was small, tucked away from the bustling center, the kind of place where tourists stopped for a quiet meal and locals came to escape the noise.

At a corner table, The Devil Princess sat there with an effortless grace, a faint smile was playing at her lips as she had a vision of calm destruction.

Dressed casually, carrying a sleek black coat draped over her shoulders, she looked more like a guide entertaining travelers than a mafia Princess negotiating a dangerous deal.

She stirred her coffee lazily while a ghost of a smile on her lips, the kind that didn't reach her eyes.

Across from her sat Viktor Petrov, a man known for smuggling death in the form of weapons. He spread a tourist map on the table and a fake smile was plastered on his scarred face, and pointed at a random spot.

"The trails are here. they are... beautiful. Good for hiking, yes?", Viktor said as his thick Russian accent was smooth but cold.

Sunaina chuckled softly, "Only if you are not afraid of getting lost," she replied and her words were layered with a silent warning.

"The mountains... beautiful this time of year", he said.

The Devil Princess chuckled again, a sound both sweet and sinister.

"Yes, Viktor! Especially the cliffs, high enough to make bodies disappear without a trace", she said in a smooth as silk smooth tone.

A flash of irritation crossed Viktor's face, but he quickly masked it.

At nearby tables, T-Rex sipped on a cup of tea, flipping through a travel brochure, while Nora pretended to scroll through her phone, occasionally snapping pictures like a typical tourist. Dino lounged by the cafe's entrance, tapping a foot to the soft music playing in the background.

To an outsider, they were just another group of friends enjoying a peaceful evening.

But the atmosphere at the corner table was anything but relaxed.

Viktor leaned forward as his smile tightened, "Five million. For the special package. No less", he said, keeping his voice light.

The Devil Princess didn't blink. "Five million for rusted weapons that jam faster than a tourist's camera?", She set her spoon down carefully, as though the simple movement held a threat of its own.

"Viktor... I buy destruction, not garbage", She finished.

He bristled, "You insult me, Devil Princess".

Her smile sharpened.

"If I wanted to insult you, Viktor. I'd ask how you plan to spend five million... when you won't live long enough to touch a single cent", she whispered, her voice a deadly purr.

The table went deathly silent.

"And you insult my intelligence by thinking I don't know your last shipment was compromised", She finished speaking and Viktor's smile faltered.

Viktor's men tensed outside, but T-Rex and Dino remained still as they were ready and waiting.

The Devil Princess leaned back in her chair, crossing her legs slowly.

"Three million. That's my offer", she said softly, the price slicing through the tension like a blade.

Viktor's jaw clenched, the muscles ticking under his skin. "I don't work for less".

Her smile faded, her eyes were now cold and merciless.

"Then I will find someone else to trade with, after I send your body back to Moscow in pieces", Sunaina said.

The threat wasn't loud, but it struck with the force of a bullet.

This time Sunaina's eyes gleamed with quiet fury, "The last thing you want is for me to lose my patience, Viktor. Three million. It's final. End this asap"

After a long moment, Viktor's hand trembled slightly as he set the map down. "Three million. Deal".

The Devil Princess's lips curled into a slow and satisfied smile, "Good choice. Pleasure doing business with you."

To anyone watching, it looked like a simple exchange between a local guide and a curious tourist, but beneath the polite smiles and soft words, a deadly game had just been played.

"My men will go to check the samples first then we will sign the contract", Sunaina said and Viktor agreed.

Suddenly, her phone buzzed, she barely spared it a glance until she saw the sender.

An unknown number.

Her fingers swiped across the screen and a video clip popped up.

The moment she pressed play, the blood in her veins turned to ice.

Tarana.

Her sister-in-law. Bound to a chair, bruises blooming across her skin. A thin trail of blood traced the corner of her lip. Behind her, masked figures stood like shadows and their presence was radiating cruelty.

A recorded, distorted, mechanical voice slithered through the speakers.

"Your Queen is fragile, Devil Princess. Let's see if she survives the night."

The video ended.

The Devil Princess sat still. Too still.

Her breathing slowed, but the storm inside her raged. T-Rex, Nora, and Dino immediately straightened, sensing the shift in the air.

Viktor noticed it too. He had seen monsters before, had done business with men who had no souls. But in that moment, looking at the woman across from him, he knew that he was staring at something far worse.

A devil with nothing to lose.

The Devil Princess's fingers curled into fists, her nails biting into her palm. When she finally spoke, her voice was quiet. Deadly.

"Check the video again and find some clue?"

T-Rex checked the phone and his expression darkened, "It's a Blocked number. They knew what they were doing."

Dino's jaw tightened. "Princess! Orders?"

Sunaina exhaled slowly, forcing herself to think past the rage clawing at her chest. This wasn't just an attack. This was a declaration of war, to crush the scorpion Satan.

Her eyes flicked to Viktor, her earlier amusement was gone, "Our deal just changed. Forget three million. You are going to give me everything, every contact, every shipment route, every piece of intel you have, right now" she murmured, each word dipped in venom.

Viktor scoffed, but there was a sliver of unease in his eyes, "And why the hell would I do that?"

The Devil Princess smiled then, not the kind that offered warmth, but the kind that whispered bloodshed.

"Because if you don't. I will carve my name into your corpse and send it back to Moscow." she leaned in, her voice had a chilling promise,

Silence fell around them.

Viktor swallowed hard as he didn't like the way Sunaina asked for help, "Fine. I will make the calls and you will get support from my team".

The Devil Princess stood abruptly, shoving her chair back and commanded, "Dino, secure the location. T-Rex, track that number. Nora, let's go hunt some ghosts".

Her gaze burned with the fire of vengeance.

And just like that, death walked out of the cafe and it was wearing boots.

Sunaina tried to call Avyaan but her phone screen showed: no signal.

Sunaina's jaw clenched as she took Trex's phone and dialled Nilay's number but a message echoed back: Unreachable.

Her heart didn't race but her mind did. Cold and sharp thoughts were slicing through the chaos.

Then, her devil's dark whisper swirled inside her.

"Our phones are hacked. We can't make a call. I can't get in touch with my brother... or Nilay."

Her grip tightened, then, without hesitation, she dropped the phone and crushed it with her boot.

Her voice was ice. "Break your phones. Now".

T-Rex, Nora, and Dino didn't question it. Phones hit the ground, smashed under their feet.

Viktor watched the scene unfold, his uneasiness was growing. The woman before him was no longer negotiating, she was preparing for war.

Sunaina's gaze cut through Viktor like a blade. "Is the work done now?"

Viktor snapped his fingers at his intel team, who were already tapping furiously on their tablets, decrypting the signal. Minutes passed, each second dragging like a knife through flesh.

Then one of Viktor's men spoke, "Got it".

He handed her a small slip of paper, an address.

An abandoned warehouse.

Sunaina stared at the address, her devil purring with anticipation. Her mind had already begun connecting the dots, weaving a web of clues back to the person who dared to touch her family.

She folded the paper slowly, slipping it into her coat pocket. Her voice, calm but deadly, sliced through the tension.

"They want to play with fire? Then I will burn them alive.", Her lips were curled into a sinister smile.

The Devil Princess didn't just promise revenge, she vowed annihilation.

"T-Rex! You returned to the Base. Nora, come with me. Dino.... You are my back plan. You will lead the Blood Dames and Hellhounds", Sunaina said to them.

T-Rex stared blankly. Sunaina raised her brows, "We are not only going to end this war. We are not only going to save the Queen. We are.... going to save the heir".

Her statement was clear and direct that shocked them.

Sunaina turned to Viktor and gave a curt nod, "Thanks for the today's help. I'm taking your cellphone with me. I will pay the double amount of interest soon".

By saying this, she left the cafe, her team followed her. Viktor stood there frozen as he didn't know how to proceed next.

"Damn it! Everything is going in the wrong direction now", Viktor cursed under his breath.

Sunaina told to Nora, "I will enter the warehouse first. Nora, you will enter ten minutes later. Understood."

They understood the task and did what Sunaina told them to do but
one question gnawed at her thoughts like a silent predator:

How did Tarana fall into the enemy's trap?

Tarana was not careless, she was Avyaan's wife, the Queen. Always Protected and guarded, and always one step ahead of danger. So how?

Whatever the reason was, She would rip the enemy apart piece by piece.
