🍀DOUBLE UPDATE🍀
...
At the Base, the armory buzzed with a quiet intensity. Rows of guns, knives, and other weapons gleamed under the dim lights.
Nilay stood in the center of the armory as his sharp gaze was moving from one weapon to another and a silent storm was brewing in his eyes.
His fingers trailed over the cold steel of a pistol before picking it up, checking its weight, and loading it with smooth precision.
The room was silent except for the soft clicks and snaps of metal against metal.
He wasn't just choosing weapons, he was preparing for something.
"Prince! Do you like this pistol?" one of the Scorpion Satan members asked.
Nilay didn't respond immediately. His fingers slowly traced the sleek barrel of the pistol, his expression unreadable.
After a moment, he gave a curt nod, his jaw tight.
"Load it," he said, his voice low and firm.
The member obeyed without question, sensing the silent storm beneath Nilay's calm exterior.
"When will my wife return from the meeting?", Nilay questioned him.
The Scorpion Satan member lowered his gaze and replied, "Prince, Princess hasn't returned yet. T-Rex and the team are still with her".
Nilay's jaw tightened while his fingers were drumming against the pistol's barrel.
"It's already late. Contact T-Rex. Now", he muttered.
One of them tried to call T-Rex but his number was unreachable.
Nilay's eyes darkened when the call to T-Rex went straight to voicemail.
"Out of reach?", he repeated in a dangerously calm voice.
The Scorpion Satan member swallowed hard. "Yes, Prince. We've tried twice and got no response but we haven't received any updates yet. But Princess is with T-Rex and the others, she is safe."
Nilay's jaw tightened. His fingers, still lightly tracing the pistol, now gripped it firmly.
Safe wasn't enough, not for Sunaina.
The silence that followed was suffocating. Nilay's grip on the pistol tightened, his knuckles turning white.
"Give me the location," Nilay demanded, his voice cold and sharp like a blade.
The Scorpion Satan members exchanged uneasy glances, startled by the sudden shift in his tone.
"Prince... but Princess said....", one of the members was saying but Nilay cut him off.
"Now.... Or you'll regret wasting my time".
Nilay's jaw was clenching.
The room fell into a tense silence before one of them quickly scrambled to check the tracker's coordinates.
....
On the other hand, Sunaina gripped the steering wheel tightly while her knuckles were turning white as the car sped down the dark road.
Her mind kept replaying the call and the silence in between every word, every breath, every second.
Jaikesh's voice had been urgent, broken by static, but the message was clear.
Something had gone wrong.
Her jaw tightened.
"Damn it," Sunaina muttered under her breath while pressing the accelerator harder.
Her phone rang again and it was the same unknown number.
Without slowing down, Sunaina pressed the answer button and asked in her a storm of fury voice.
"What do you want?" she roared.
A cold, dark chuckle echoed through the line and a few seconds of pause, responded, "You."
Her grip on the wheel tightened, but her voice was steady and laced with venom.
"I am coming... but remember, if anything happens to her...." she paused as her tone turned deadly, "I will chop your body into pieces and exhibit them at the mafia ball."
Silence fell in the line.
And then the line went dead.
Sunaina's eyes burned with rage as she sped through the night as her mind was sharp, her heart was like ice.
"Tara... just be safe," Sunaina whispered and, a rare flicker of worry crossed her fierce exterior.
The car screeched to a halt at the entrance of an old, abandoned warehouse. The air was thick with silence and was broken only by the soft hum of her engine.
Suddenly, her gaze locked onto the symbol carved into the rusted metal gate; a coiled snake as its fangs bared in a menacing stance.
'Python.'
Her heart didn't skip a beat, not out of fear, but out of fury.
She knew this symbol all too well.
The python was revived by Divita and now, when the leader was dead then surely the next in line would try to act cowardly, to survive in the world of ruthlessness.
Clenching her jaw, Sunaina stepped out of the car, her hand instinctively brushing against the concealed weapon at her waist.
Sunaina stepped into the warehouse. The air was thick with dust and the metallic scent of rust. Shadows clung to the corners like silent watchers.
Her sharp gaze swept the dimly lit space until it froze.
There was Tarana, lying on the dirty floor.
Her body was still, her hair splayed like dark rivers around her pale face. A single streak of blood trailed from her lip, staining the ground beneath her.
For a moment, Sunaina didn't move.
Then rage erupted in her chest.
The devil was awakened as her eyes darkened them before.
The sight blazed in her chest like wildfire, burning hotter with every passing second.
"Tara!", Sunaina's voice cracked through the silence like a whip, but there was no response.
Her fists clenched at her sides. Whoever did this... they were going to regret ever breathing.
Sunaina took a step forward but suddenly a faint whistle echoed through the warehouse. It was slow, mocking, and cruel.
And then a shadow emerged from the darkness.
The shadow was Tall and imposing and then the figure stepped into the dim light as his face was still partially hidden.
His lips curled into a sly smirk as his cold gaze flickered between Sunaina and Tarana's motionless body.
He stood there, casually close to Tarana, like a predator playing with its prey.
Sunaina's jaw tightened and her heart was pounding against her ribs.
"Step away from her", Her voice was a low growl, laced with pure venom.
The man chuckled softly, the sound slithering through the silence like a snake.
"Or what, Devil Princess?" he sneered as his foot was inching dangerously closer to Tarana.
Sunaina's hand instinctively moved towards the small dagger strapped to her thigh, her vision was blurring with fury.
She wasn't leaving without Tarana, and this man was about to learn exactly who he was dealing with.
But suddenly the man said, "Don't try to be smart here otherwise the Queen of your brother's heart will bleed out tonight".
Sunaina's fingers were twitching near the gun hidden at her waist. Her heart thundered in her chest, but her face remained a mask of cold fury.
The tall man with a cruel smile, stepped closer to Tarana. Sunaina's eyes burned with rage.
On the floor, Tarana stirred as her face twisted in pain as she clutched her arm, a thin line of blood trailing down her wrist.
She was barely conscious.
"You sick bastard. If you touch her again, I will pull your heart out of your chest with my bare hands", Sunaina growled while taking a step forward
The man chuckled darkly as his gaze flickered between Sunaina's dagger and Tarana's weakened form.
"Feisty. Just like your brother's precious Queen. But tell me, Princess... how far will you go to save her?", the man asked as he had wicked glint dancing in his eyes.
Sunaina's blood boiled, but her mind sharpened. She couldn't lose control, not with Tarana's life hanging by a thread.
Her voice was a deadly whisper. "Test me... and you will find out."
Suddenly, Tarana opened her eyes and looked straight at Sunaina. Tears brimmed in her eyes.
"Naina", She whimpered and slashed Sunaina's heart, "Tara".
"I.... I am sorry", Tarana whimpered again. Sunaina was losing her control.
"Ohhh! What a sad moment? But tonight, I will end everything", the man said as he put the gun on Tarana's nape and pulled the trigger.
"No! Don't hurt her", Sunaina's heart dropped down as her mind flashes with Tarana's words.
Flashback before going to her parents' house:-
Tarana looked at Sunaina, her expression softening a bit, though she still seemed uneasy about the situation. "Naina! Can't you talk to me about your pain. You know that I am always here for you. If you share your heart with me then I will share my heart with you as well".
Sunaina's smile dropped down but she quickly recovered it and said, "Everything will be fine, Tara. Go with him. Talk to your parents. I am sure they will accept my brother because they can't find someone like him who loves their daughter from the moon and back".
"I don't know, Naina. It's just... a lot. I don't need him to hover over me.", Tarana said and Sunaina placed a reassuring hand on Tarana's shoulder.
"I understand. But sometimes, things have to be done in a way that brings everyone together. He just wants what's best for you, the best for all of us.", Sunaina said and Tarana sighed, "I know you are right. It's just... hard. I am scared. I am confused. I don't know what your brother will do?"
"What happened? Is everything alright?", Sunaina asked her.
Tarana looked back at Avyaan and found him on a call. She moved closer to Sunaina and whispered, "I think.... I am not sure... I think, I am pregnant".
Sunaina's eyes and mouth both widened at Tarana's words, "You?".
"Shhh! It's not confirmed yet. I need time and I won't share it with anyone without confirming it but you are my best friend so I wanted to share it with you at first", Tarana said.
"I know. I am so happy. I will pray for the good news. Now go. I am going to make a list for your marriage and names for my nephew and niece" Sunaina said with a teasing smile.
Tarana blushed deeply, her cheeks turning a rosy red. She quickly turned to leave, her footsteps hurried, but in her rush, she bumped into Avyaan. His brows furrowed in disapproval as he scolded her, "Walk properly."
After the wedding, When Sunaina returned to the capital city, before getting a call for meeting with Russians, Tarana called her and confirmed her pregnancy but it was still not revealed to anyone and this news, Sunaina shared with only Chase as she was planning to introduce Avyaan and Tarana at her welcome party, to shared this wonderful news but..... Everything reversed now.
End of Flashback:-
"Who are you and what do you want?", Sunaina asked him while her eyes were wavering from Tarana to the man.
"I am.... Who am I?", that man chuckled.
"I am the python. The real python, who was in hibernation when your brother and you ruined everything", the man said and Sunaina's eyes widened in shock but she masked it quickly.
"So you are the master mind of Python.... The enemy of the head of Scorpion Satan; Kabir Khadka", Sunaina said and the man laughed, "Bingo! But how could you forget my face? but still, I am impressed. You have sharp memory, Devil Princess. That's why Kabir admired you the most", the man was saying but Sunaina cut him off.
"And hated you every fibre of his body. Am I right........ Satluj? Or call you, Uncle Satluj", Sunaina finished speaking and another wave of storm swirled in their eyes.
This was not the beginning. This was the first chapter of the ending.
Ending of bloodbath....
