Angel: "Your love is a prison,
cruel and suffocating."
Devil: "Then why do you keep coming back to me, angel?
Maybe you crave my chains more than you dare to admit."
...
The next day, at the BASE :-
"What do you think about this message, Naina?".
Avvyan’s voice broke the silence as he handed the messages to Sunaina. His eyes stayed on her and waited to see how she would react.
Sunaina glanced at the messages briefly as her face was calm and unreadable. A faint smirk appeared on her lips as she looked back at him.
"Another child’s play," Sunaina replied with a sly smirk as her tone was dripping with indifference.
Avvyan's deep voice broke the silence, steady and commanding, yet holding a hint of curiosity, "So, it means you are going to this year's Mafia Ball as well?"
Sunaina lifted her gaze to meet her elder brother's eyes as her expression was calm yet respectful.
She paused briefly, as if considering her response, before speaking with quiet conviction.
"Yes, I am", She said while her tone was unwavering.
In the room, their shared aura of power was undeniable—he, the Satan King, and she, the Devil Princess—two forces bound by blood, respect, and the dark empire they ruled.
"Drop the plan," Avvyan said in a firm, authoritative tone that made Sunaina frown deeply.
"But why, brother? I want to end this childish game," Sunaina replied as her determination was clear.
Her words, however, made Avvyan uneasy and a flicker of concern crossed his otherwise calm expression.
"You are married now," Avvyan said as his voice was calm but firm.
Sunaina's eyes widened in shock as the words sank in. For a moment, she was frozen, and then, unbidden, Nilay's face filled her mind.
The memory of his piercing gaze and soft angelic smile made her heart race, though she quickly masked her emotions and refused to show it.
"Brother, I am the Devil Princess. Sacrifices come with the throne. This was the only way to ensure our power remains untouchable," Sunaina said in steady voice but Avvyan shook his head negatively.
"You think it’s that simple?", he asked and his tone was serious and a slight hint of concern was behind his words.
Sunaina met his gaze as she did not flinch. "It’s the only way," she insisted while her voice hardened.
Avvyan paused for a moment then spoke again with finality, "Okay, then I’m coming with you."
Sunaina closed her eyes briefly and a wave of frustration washed over her. She didn’t want to argue. She didn’t want anyone interfering, least of all her brother.
But she knew better than to challenge him directly. He was her elder brother, the Satan King- nothing could stop him when he made up his mind.
"Fine," she replied in a quieter voice and the weight of the situation settled on her shoulders.
"I have a plan to execute. T-Rex will go with me, and brother, you will not pay attention to me there, just meet the other leaders," Sunaina said as her tone was firm, as she laid out her intentions with a sense of resolve.
Avvyan listened carefully and his expression was unreadable.
"Sure, but remember, your safety comes first. I'll be present at the party. Kian will follow me as well. The sharks will cover the Base and the mansion. If I feel that you’re in danger, I won’t hesitate to blow my cover.", Avvyan said in a straight tone.
Sunaina’s eyes narrowed slightly at his words, but she didn’t argue. She knew better than to challenge his authority on such matters. Avvyan’s protection was absolute, but it also came with the weight of control.
"Understood," she said.
Despite the plan, she couldn’t shake the sense of being watched, but there was nothing she could do about it. The shadows of their power, both his and hers, were stretched long over everything.
"When are you going to marry Tara?" Sunaina suddenly asked, her voice breaking the tense silence.
Avvyan’s expression remained unchanged, but there was a flicker of something in his eyes—surprise, perhaps, or a hint of annoyance. He looked at her, the question catching him off guard.
Avvyan leaned back slightly, considering her question.
"When the time is right But you know, Naina, some things are better left unsaid", He said as his voice was quieter now.
Sunaina didn’t respond immediately, but her gaze lingered on him.
"Brother, Tara is a nice girl. If you don't want to marry her, then it'll be better to not touch her innocence", Sunaina said and her tone was more serious now.
Avvyan’s eyes darkened and for a moment, the atmosphere between them shifted. His expression was unreadable but the weight of her words was not lost on him. A fire ignited in his chest.
"Naina, You know nothing of what goes on between me and Tara", He warned and his voice was low, a slight edge to it.
Sunaina’s gaze didn’t waver as she replied firmly, "I know enough by looking at the love bite on your neck".
Avvyan's heart skipped because of her words. He quickly covered his neck, hiding from his sister's devilish eyes.
"Don’t ruin her life just because you can.", Sunaina said and there was a brief silence. It was heavy with the unspoken understanding that their conversation wasn’t over, but for now, the warning had been given.
"Tara is my only friend who never judged my actions and words. You are my only family, for whom I can even choose my own death. So choose wisely. I don't want to lose either of you," Sunaina said and her voice was quiet but filled with emotion.
Avvyan’s expression softened for a brief moment and the weight of her words sank in.
He understood the depth of her loyalty and her fierce protectiveness over those she cared about. The walls he had carefully built around himself seemed to waver, if only slightly.
"You don’t have to worry, Naina. I won’t hurt her, and you won’t lose her either. She is the first and last woman who entered my life after you," Avvyan said and his voice was soft as a rare vulnerability touched his tone.
Sunaina’s eyes narrowed slightly as she processed his words. For a moment, she was silent and the weight of what he had said settled between them.
Her gaze softened, just a little, as she took in his sincerity.
"Just make sure you don't break her heart," Sunaina replied quietly and her voice was still carrying that protective edge.
Avvyan met her eyes as his expression was firm once again, but the unspoken understanding lingered.
"I won’t", he assured her.
The promise hung in the air. Sunaina nodded while smiling softly. She didn’t need his promises. She only needed to know that both Tara and Avvyan would be safe, that the fragile balance between them wouldn’t break.
Avvyan's steady gaze was on her. He had more questions, but he knew better than to press further. For now, this was enough and he had to see the face of the woman who was dancing on his head.
His Tara. His Angel.

KHADKA Mansion :-
"Buba! I need a few things, so can I go out now?" Tarana asked Jaikesh as her tone was light but carrying an underlying urgency.
Jaikesh, who had been appointed by Avvyan to protect her, looked at her with a stern expression. His job was clear- ensure Tarana stayed inside the mansion, no matter what.
"You know the rules, Tarana. King ordered you to stay here. It's not safe for you to go out", Jaikesh replied in a firm voice.
Tarana sighed while rolling her eyes. "I’m not asking for permission to run off into danger, Buba. I just need a few things. I won’t be long."
Jaikesh remained unmoved as his duty outweighed her pleading.
"It’s not just about you, Tarana. You know King's orders are non-negotiable.", Jaikesh said and Tarana paused and frustration was evident in her eyes, but she knew better than to press him further.
Jaikesh was loyal to a fault.
"Fine,"I’ll figure something out.", she muttered and turned away.
"But why do you want to go out?" Jaikesh asked as his tone was skeptical as he watched her.
Tarana hesitated for a moment, not expecting him to question her so directly. She quickly gathered her thoughts and smiled and was trying to hide the nervousness bubble inside her.
"I just need to get a few things, Buba. It’s nothing serious. I promise I’ll be back soon", She replied.
Jaikesh’s expression remained unreadable and his gaze was steady as he assessed her.
"That’s not the point. I’m here to protect you, and King's orders are clear. You’re not going anywhere unless there’s a good reason.", Jaikesh said while looking straight at her.
Tarana clenched her hand tightly and said nervously, "I need a thing."
Jaikesh raised an eyebrow, his expression shifting slightly, but he remained calm. "What is it? Tell me, I will bring it here."
Tarana hesitated for a moment as her face flushed with embarrassment.
Taking a deep breath, she finally spoke as her voice was barely above a whisper, "I want contraceptive pills."

At K&K Corporation:-
Nilay was at the company, getting detailed information about the current situation and the company's processes. He sat in a modern conference room and listening carefully as the team explained everything.
The room was serious, with each person sharing important details about the company's finances, projects, and areas that needed work.
Nilay stayed quiet and was taking notes and was focusing on the information. He was a sharp thinker and paid close attention to every detail.
Nilay used to paint with a brush and his hand moved smoothly as he created beautiful artwork. His fingers were steady and precise, making every stroke look effortless. The brush felt natural in his hand, and his paintings reflected his calm and focused nature.
Now, instead of holding a brush, his hand held a pen. He wasn’t painting on a canvas anymore; he was writing down notes while sitting in the meeting room of the company. His hand moved quickly, but with the same careful precision he used when painting. Even though he wasn’t creating art with colors anymore, his hand still moved with grace, even as he wrote.
At this moment, Even though he was in the meeting, his mind sometimes wandered to Sunaina and the challenges they were facing.
Suddenly, his phone beeped and a message notification appeared on the screen.
Nilay glanced at it, noticing it was from an unknown number. His curiosity piqued as he unlocked his phone and opened the message. His eyes immediately went cold as the images of Sunaina appeared on the screen. It was Sunaina's photos he had never seen before.
The sight of the pictures sent a chill through him. The sender was unknown, but the message was clear: 'His wife was with a man'
'Is she cheating on him?'- He thought and his possessive instinct kicked off as his heart raced with concern, jealousy and anger.
He quickly tapped to see if there was any accompanying message. The words that followed only deepened his unease.
The message also contained a note: "[Your wife is beautiful and enjoys her youth in the arms of another man]".
Nilay's chest burnt as he read the first content of message. A fire brewed in his eyes as he read the second part of the content.
"[Come to meet at [location] at [time]."
Nilay's jaw tightened as he read the words. His mind raced as he was trying to make sense of it.
Whoever had sent the message knew exactly who Sunaina was, and now they were demanding his presence.
The images and the cryptic message- It all felt more like a trap than a warning.
His protective and angelic possessiveness instincts flared as he quickly calculated his next move.
"Sure" - Nilay typed and sent to the unknown number.
'Let's see who you are and what kind of game you are trying to play with me' - Nilay thought while staring at his ring finger where Sunaina's teeth mark and her name was permanently inked there.
