Angel's POV

It's a couple days after I returned to the autobot base. Optimus is recovering well. But I am getting a bad feeling about Bumblebee. Yesterday he and Bulkhead were playing a game of basketball Cybertron style. And he nearly took Bulk's head off with the lob ball. Which is not normal for him.

Anyway, the kids are at school as it's a Monday. It's just Ratchet, Bumblebee and I at the base. As Optimus is out scouting and Arcee went with Bulkhead to take their charges to school. Speaking of which, it's strange that Bumblebee hasn't taken Raf to school. Did he get a lift with one of the other two?

So Ratchet and I had just had an energon cube. We're heading for the control room. Where we see Bumblebee destroy one of Ratchet's tools. "Bumblebee! I needed that!" Ratchet snaps.

"I'm sorry Ratchet" Bumblebee buzzes apologetically.

"What has gotten into you?" Ratchet asks him.

"I've been seeing Megatron in my head" Bumblebee tells us. I scowl.

"You're seeing Megatron's face?" Ratchet asks.

(Time skip)

Ratchet did a bunch of tests and all negative. So he has decided to put Bumblebee in power down mode. To give his processor a chance to rest and reset from the cortical physic patch. The others have arrived back, but only Raf is here. As Jack is at work and Miko has detention.

"Bumblebee's complaining of intermittent visions. Waking nightmares, if you will" Ratchet explains as he put Bumblebee in power down mode.

"But you said bee was fine when you checked him over" Raf states.

"Physically, but the experience he endured seems to be having a temporary effect on his psyche. This induced power-down should force Bumblebee's mind to rest and recover" Ratchet assures him. I pray he is right, as I still have a bad feeling.

Suddenly the comm system goes off and I slink into the shadows as Fowler appears on screen. We've never meet and I plan on keeping it that way. The autobots respect my decision and have kept my existence a secret from Fowler.

"Prime. You spot any Decepticons wearing hula skirts lately?" he demands. Honestly, he is always yelling or upset by something. The guy needs to learn to chill.

"No, special agent Fowler. Why?" Optimus asks him.

"Because I was hoping you'd have a lead on the 'cons that busted into the Kauai naval observatory. The place looked like it was hit by an army of wrecking balls" Fowler explains. Why would the decepticons break into an observatory? What's Starscream planning?

"Why would 'cons break in to an observatory?" Arcee asks voicing my question.

"Does the Hoit-Nikogosian ring any bells?" Fowler asks.

"The space telescope" Raf states.

"As of last night, missing its primary lens" Fowler tells them.

"It's difficult to guess Starscream's intent without knowing where the lens has been taken" Optimus tells him.

"Good thing the lens has a tracking device" Fowler states. Then sends them to the coordinates. It's in the Arctic, no thank you. I'd rather not freeze my tail off.

"The Arctic? Great. Another chance to freeze our spark plugs off" Arcee grumbles. Ratchet zooms in to show a butch of energon.

"That's a nd-7 class. Biggest un-minable Energon deposit there is" Bulkhead states. Unless someone can find a way through all the solid ice.

"Unminable until Starscream melts his way down to it" Optimus states. That could work. But he wouldn't want to do it directly over the energon. Otherwise he'd ignite it by accident.

"With the help of the lens" Arcee adds.

"Melting a glacier that size would cause sea levels to rise and demolish coastal cities" Fowler states. Maybe I should go on vacation further in land? I hear Colorado is nice this time of year. I hate water.

"Arcee, Bulkhead prepare the roll out" Optimus orders as the chat with Fowler ends. They nod their helms as I step out of the shadows. "Will you accompany us Angel?" he asks me. I think about it and sigh, they need all the help they can get. Besides I hate water more then I hate the cold. I nod my helm. "Ratchet open a ground bridge" he tells him.

"Be-careful you four" he tells us while opening one.

"Autobots, roll out" Optimus orders. We go through the portal and it was warmer then I thought it'd be on the other side.

"A lot different than our last polar visit. It feels like summer" Arcee states.

"Here, that's a bad thing" Bulkhead states as we peak around the corner. We see Starscream had already started to melt the ice. I look up at Optimus, wondering what the plan is.

"Autobots. Remember the end run on Polyhex?" he asks. They both nod and so do I. I remember reading the report, a group of autobots distracted the cons while another snuck up on them from behind. "Angel, you're with me" he states. I nod my helm and we leave the other two.

While Arcee and Bulkhead distract the decepticons with a frontal assault. Optimus and I get behind the ship. We start to climb the ice wall. Easy for me with my claws. A little more difficult for Optimus, but he manages ok. We hear Arcee and Bulkhead engage the cons. We soon reach the top and he transforms. He opens his door and I hop in. He closes it and speeds towards the ice ramp ahead. Going into maximum over-drive.

He jumps it and transforms. Tossing me onto the ship. He catches himself on the edge as I dig my claws into the ship. I race over to him and he waves me off. Pulling himself up. Well we're on the ship, now what do we do? I ponder tilting my helm.

"Follow my lead" he tells me quietly. I nod my helm. He heads for the flight deck where the laser is. He transforms and speeds off. I roll my optics and race after him. As Knockout and Starscream notice him approaching.

"What good is a second-in-command who fails to watch the rear?!" Starscream demands. Glaring at Knockout. He pushes the vehicon off of the control seat for the laser. He redirects it to attack Optimus and I dodge to the side to avoid it. Optimus might be able to withstand that heat blast, but I'm not.

Optimus endures it long enough to transform and destroy the weapon. The lens along with it. Setting off a massive shock wave. Which send Optimus flying off of the Nemesis. Scrap, how am I supposed to get off now? Starscream transforms and heads for Optimus. "Megatron's greatest mistake was ever allowing you to live, Prime!" he yells.

Before he can attack Optimus, he is intercepted by Megatron. Who flew him back to the Nemesis. I cower in the shadows. 'Sire, I am scared' I say mental to Soundwave. Megatron has scared me either since the decepticons was formed. If he sees me, what's to stop him from killing me?

Both Starscream and Megatron land on the flight deck. "Lord... Megatron. You... Are... You're healed! Praise the All-spark. It is a miracle!" Starscream says fawning excitement.

"Oh, it will be a miracle all right, Starscream, if you survive what I have planned for you!" Megatron snaps. Starscream tries to fly away, but Megatron grabs him. The tosses him into a wall. Then jumps over to him, I use this as my chance and race into the Nemesis. I'm meet by Laserbeak and he guides me to Soundwave. I jump into his servoes shaking. He strokes me soothingly as Laserbeak reattaches to his chassic cooing at me.

'It will be ok' Laserbeak assures me.

"Soundwave, we're leaving" Megatron orders. Soundwave nods to the drones and they steer the ship away from the autobots. At least they'll be ok. I can't say the same about Starscream and I.

(Time skip)

It's been a while since we left the Arctic and Megatron has not appeared yet. But I now hear him and begin to shake again as I cling to Soundwave. He strokes my helm gently as Megatron appears. "Welcome back, Lord Megatron" the drones say bowing to him.

"Soundwave, I want to know everything Starscream has down in my absence" Megatron states. Ignoring the drones, who get back to work. "Also what is she doing here?" he demands eyeing me. I hide my face.

"Loyal" Soundwave says in Megatron's voice.

"She is pledging her allegies to us?" Megatron asks. Soundwave nods his head.

'No, I am not' I tell Soundwave.

'Be silent and play along' he tells me through the bond. I freeze, I had not expected him to reply. It feels good to hear his voice again, even if it is only mentally. I purr nuzzling him.

"Good, now tell me about what's transpired since the Space Bridge incident" Megatron orders him. Soundwave does so and I pray the others got back to base ok. That Bumblebee is back to his normal self when I see them again. But would I be allow to leave the decepticons now? With Megatron back. I guess only time will tell.
