Angel's POV

So Fowler and Optimus managed to convince the government we're not a threat. But I am on probation and if I step one toe out of line. I'd be taken into custody by the military. Good luck with that, they'd have to catch me first. Lets see, what's happened since we defeated Nemesis Prime? Oh, we caught Airachnid and she is now locked in a stasis pod. Downside, the decepticons now have a hive of insecticons on their side. But Bulkhead managed to damage their ship during his scouting mission for energon.

We now have the location of the badly damaged decepticon warship. Question is, what are we gonna do about it? "We should hit the 'cons right now while they're vulnerable" Arcee suggests.

"Megatron's warship may be grounded, but let's not forget that we remain vastly outnumbered, especially since has added the insecticon hive to his ranks" Ratchet reminds them.

"Then maybe it's time for me to call in an air strike" Fowler suggests.

"Or for us to consider more extreme measures, Agent Fowler" Optimus tells him and I frown. What does he mean? More extreme measures? He and Ratchet leave the room. They come back with the spark extractor.

"Optimus!" I shout in horror as I jump down in front of him.

"I know you care for them Angel, but Megatron must be stopped. Once and for all" he tells me.

"At what price? The death of innocent drones? My family? There must be another way" I tell him. Just then the computer beeps.

"Optimus, I'm detecting a massive energy spike at the Decepticon crash site. It appears to be dark Energon" Ratchet announces. Optimus has him open the ground bridge. He, Arcee, Bee and Bulkhead go through with agent Fowler. Apparently it's his job as a representative of planet Earth to bear witness. "Angel..." he starts to say.

"Save it" I snarl glaring up at Ratchet. "You had your chance to talk him out of it and now my family is most likely about to die" I snap. "I'll be in my room, call me when it's over" I state and leave the main room. No one stops me.

(Time skip)

When I was called. I was shocked to see Optimus and the other three frozen stiff. Also that the spark extractor hadn't been used. "What happened Ratchet?" I ask him.

"They're alive, but I've never encountered this form of stasis lock" he tells me.

"Since when did the Nemesis have that ability?" I ask and he shrugs.

"The 'cons are crossing the Atlantic, making a beeline for North America" Fowler states.

"Wait. We can track them?" Jack asks.

"Why aren't they cloaked, like usual?" Raf asks.

"None of this makes a lick of sense. They had us in their cross hairs, but the 'Cons just took off" Fowler states.

"They even bailed on that Spark extractor thingy" Miko adds.

"That's not like Megatron" I state. He would have wanted the spark extractor. He would have used in the autobots right then and there. So why would he live it and the autobots?

"Well, if the ship isn't cloaked, maybe the communications relay's open, and..." Jack starts to suggest.

"Yep, yep. Are you suggesting that we just call Megatron and ask him what's happening up there?!" Ratchet asks him. Jack just shrugs. Along with the other humans.

"Honestly, it's not the worst idea" I tell him. "I'll scramble the call, so that we can't be tracked" I state. He sighs and nods his helm.

"Autobot outpost Omega One to Decepticon warship. Megatron, please respond" he calls. No response. "Megatron?" Ratchet asks.

"Megatron has been relieved of his command" an unknown male voice answers.

"Who is this?" Ratchet asks. The voice asks the same question of him. "Have you taken control of the Decepticon vessel?" he asks.

"I am the vessel. Any Cybertronian who interferes with my mission will be neutralized" the voice states. I hope he just means stasis lock like the autobots and not off line. Just then he showed us pictures of the cons frozen in stasis lock like the autobots.

"What mission?" Ratchet asks him.

"Priority one decrypt Iacon database and recover Decepticon technology" he answers. Ratchet asked him for what purpose. But didn't get an answer.

"He hung up" I state.

"Rude" Miko complains.

"Rude?! There's a giant spaceship flying around collecting Decepticon weapons of mass destruction!" Fowler rants.

"A giant spaceship filled with neutralized Decepticons" Jack states.

"Point?" Fowler asks.

"This could be our only chance to slip aboard and download the Iacon database. So Optimus can decode it" Jack states.

"Smart, but the Nemesis just threatened any cybertronian that steps foot on it" I remind him.

"But that tub had me dead to rights, and I'm still breathing" Fowler tells us.

"The ship may be blind to humans" Jack states. So it was decided Fowler would go to the kids to the decepticon warship and download the Iacon database. Ratchet would bridge them back if there was any trouble. Things were going well until we found out the ship was heading straight for New York and we knew the ship wouldn't care about the human lives there.

"The energon infuser" I state and Ratchet nods his helm.

"You'll need to reserve the warship's Energon infuser. Follow the main overhead conduits. They'll lead you to the power core" Ratchet tells the humans. Miko and Jack went for it. Leaving Raf with an unconscious Fowler, who had tried to tamper with the navigation system. When they got there, they announced Megatron had had the same idea.

They managed to succeed in dumping the dark energon. But down side the cons started to unfreeze. Ratchet bridged them back and went to retrieve Jack who refused to leave the data drive behind. Apparently he'd given Knockout a nice punch before leaving with Jack and the data drive. I shut the ground bridge to stop any con from following them.

When we checked the data on the drive. We realized the download was incomplete. But at least we have four sets of coordinates to the next relics. "The download of the Iacon database may have been incomplete, but we now possess four sets of coordinates decoded by the ship" Ratchet states.

"Then we must act quickly, for Megatron possesses the same four sets" Optimus reminds him. "And he will not hesitate to obtain the potential doomsday devices which lie at the site of each" he states.

"Looks like we're gonna have to split up" I state.

"Not an idea that brings me joy. But it's the only way" Optimus states. "Are you with us Angel?" he asks me. I nod my helm and we start to plan teams.
