Christine was nursing Henry when John came in from the garage as he was working on his lawn mower as he went to kiss her.

"You smell like exhaust fumes." Christine said as she tried to ignore the smells but her senses were still strong.

"Sorry love, how's our baby penguin doing?" John asked.

"He's having his feeding right now." Christine said.

"Let me go shower and I'll be back down to fix us something to eat." John said.

"Okay." Christine said as she waited for Henry to unlatch from her breast.

She switched him as he got his belly full as she lifted him onto his shoulder to burp him.

"Daddy will be back down soon and then, we'll take a nap and maybe if you're up to it, we'll go take a walk around the neighborhood, how does that sound?" Christine asked her infant son as he burped and she easily cradled him.

John came back down as he sat down beside his wife.

"What would you like for lunch love?" John asked her.

"Anything is fine with me darling." Christine said.

"I'm ordering Chinese." John said as he knew Christine was still in pain from giving birth and he made sure to keep an eye on her and their son.

John ordered lunch as he came back into the living room to see Christine asleep with baby Henry in his bassinet, he was happy to see his wife get some much needed sleep because this was still so new to them.

A couple of hours, Christine woke up but seen that Henry wasn't beside her as her instincts kicked in as she panicked, fear was settling in as she slowly got up because she was still sore from giving birth as she slowly looked everywhere for her son.

"John!" Christine screamed as she started crying, frantically looking for her newborn son as John heard Christine scream for him.

He picked up Henry's bouncy seat and carried him into the kitchen and set him down on the floor and hurried into the foyer to see his wife in a complete panic.

"What's wrong sweetheart?" John asked as Christine hugged him.

"Where's Henry?" Christine asked as she cried.

"I took him out into the garage with me, he was crying earlier and I knew you were sleeping so I picked him up and put him into his bouncy seat and I was teaching him how to fix our lawn mower." John said as Christine was crying.

"I woke up and he wasn't beside me and I panicked because he wasn't there." Christine said.

"He's fine darling. Come here and I'll show you he's okay." John said as he held her hand and they walked into the kitchen to see their son, sleeping in his bouncy seat with calming sleep noises.

"Now I feel like a fool for crying." Christine said as John held her.

"You're not a fool baby, I just didn't want to wake you because you're sleep deprived baby." John said as he knew that being a first time parent was hard on anyone as he read in a book.

"I'm sorry honey." Christine said as she hugged him tighter as the tears kept coming.

"For what baby?" John asked her.

"For being so emotional lately, I just want what's best for him and be perfect for you and our son." Christine said.

"Oh honey, you're allowed to be emotional and you are perfect, you're the best wife in the whole world and you're the best mum to our son. You are perfect in every single way imaginable." John said as he rubbed Christine's back.

"Let's take a walk or something, I just want to get some fresh air." Christine said.

"Okay, let me go get his stroller and we can do that. If you're up to it because I know you're still in a lot of pain." John said.

"It's bearable but it's so nice out for once and fresh air would be good for us instead of being stuck in the house all day." Christine said as Henry started crying as Christine gently picked him up out of his bouncer.

"Aww baby, did my handsome little man have a good nap?" Christine asked as she kissed his cheek as Henry cooed.

"We're going to go for a walk baby, but first is a diaper change and then, mummy will feed you because it's almost time for your lunch." Christine said as she grabbed a diaper and wipes as she took off the little pants he had on and opted for a white onesie with penguins and little blue jean shorts to keep him cool.

She was changing his diaper as John came back in as he grabbed a few diapers and put them in the diaper bag as Christine finished the diaper change and started feeding Henry as their newborn son latched on quickly and started eating to his heart's content.

"You are so much like your daddy." Christine chuckled.

"Hey, you can't blame us for loving your breasts." John said.

"He's got your appetite." Christine said.

"Your breasts are my safe place and they are so comfy." John said.

"Henry is agreeing with you on that one." Christine said as John came over and admired their baby boy.

"Isn't that right handsome, mummy has the best breasts in the world?" John asked him as Henry grunted.

"He totally agrees." John said as Henry stopped as Christine handed Henry to John as John lifted him onto his shoulder to be burped.

"Have I told you lately how much I love you?" Christine asked him.

"Every day sweetheart and I love you too." John said as Henry burped loudly.

"Mini John." Christine said.

"Say "Mummy what did you expect?" John baby talked to Henry.

John and Christine walked around the park together as John pushed baby Henry's stroller as an older woman walking with a young woman stopped them.

"Oh my goodness! He's so adorable." The older woman said.

"Thank you." Christine said.

"Grandma, I want to have a baby." The younger woman said.

"You still have plenty of time young lady." The older woman said.

"What's his name?" The younger woman asked.

"Henry, he's two weeks old." John said.

"I remember when I gave birth, it was all I could do to get up from the couch because of how much pain I was in." The older woman said.

"I know but it was so nice out today and I wanted to get out the house for a while." Christine said.

"Well hun, he's a beautiful little boy and congratulations." The older woman said as Christine smiled.

"Thank you." Christine said as the women walked on.

"I can't believe we created the most handsome little boy." Christine said.

"We did sweetheart." John said as they walked around the whole park until they were ready to go.

...

They arrived home as John made dinner and they watched TV together until they were both falling asleep as they retired to their bedroom as Christine fed and changed their son and called it a night as they relaxed.

"We had a nice day." John said.

"We did and I still can't believe that young girl wanted to have a baby, she looked so young." Christine said.

"Our little boy definitely has his charm on women." John said.

"He got it from you. I remember just being so happy that you actually like me." Christine said.

"I couldn't help but fall deeply in love with you. You changed my life for the better baby, both you and our son are my entire world now and if I die tomorrow, I'd die a happy man knowing I got to meet, fall in love and marry the most beautiful woman, caring and loving woman in the world and had the most handsome little boy. You made me into a better man Christine, even after all the shit I put you through in the past, you and I both found a way to create our own idea of paradise, this is my idea of paradise, you and our son are my everything." John said as Christine looked up at him with tears in her eyes.

"I don't know what to say right now because you and our son are my everything too. Everything is falling into place and I'm so proud of you for everything and with everything that's happened, I don't have to dream about this anymore. We can finally breathe for once and not worry about anything anymore besides our son. We have everything now and you two are my entire world and so much more." Christine said.

"I love you two more than anything else in this world, I finally have exactly what I wanted which was you and now, we have our own little family and I never knew what I did to deserve you both but I thank God everyday, you are my best friend and the best person I have ever known and more sweetheart." John said as Christine kissed him.
