I hesitated to reach out for my cracked phone. I could tell Castiel knew who was calling by the quick change in his facial expression. His tender hands beat me to my phone. Slowly he raised it off the stone cold floor and looked at it. I knew if he picked up the call my small outing would come to an abrupt stop. Though if the angel did not pick up the call Dean would surely come looking for us. I tapped on the green phone, seconds later Dean'a loud voice boomed through the speakers of my phone.
"Dean?" Castiel held the phone up to his ear lightly.
"Cas... are you two okay?"
"No, (y/n) got hurt I'll have to heal her wounds over night"
"Can't you heal wounds quickly?"
"I'm.. weak so I'll have to work slowly"
"Cas, did you use your powers on werewolves?"
"Yes" Castiel quickly pulled the phone away from his ear and hung up. He lied for me.. maybe he felt the same way I did. If Cas hadn't hung up so quickly we would have caught the small grumble that floated out of Dean's mouth. He knew something wasn't right about what Castiel had said.. it was quite obvious actually.
"We should take one more sweep of this place" I lifted myself off his lap and grabbed my silver blade. Castiel had also gotten up but he grabbed my hands to hold me back.
    "No..no I'm sure it's fine.. let's go" lightly he smiled, his blue eyes seemed to light up or maybe that was my crazy imagination. We walked out together hand and hand covered in werewolf blood. Cars who passed by must have seen us but luckily did not question. My rusty old truck waited for us patiently. Cas opened the door for me and I slipped in, he jumped and grasped the wheel.
     "Where are we off to Captain?" I giggled at him lightly. The street lights glowed lightly on his structured face.
     "A small motel away from Dean" he stepped on the gas and we were off through the cold night.
