Epilogue

MOST HAPPY ENDINGS end with the happy couple building a family and them riding off into the sunset. But that wasn't how Evelyn's and Pan's ending happened. You cannot escape destiny and Pan knew that.
One day, a battle broke out in Neverland. The Lost Boys, Evelyn, and Pan all fought to keep their home. However, all battles have casualties. A few Lost Boys lost their lives, including Alex. But not only did a few Lost Boys die, Pan and Evelyn did as well. The two died side by side, holding each other hands, just beside little Alex.
The Lost Boys had won the battle and then found the bodies of their brothers, their leader, and their mother.
When Evelyn felt the sword go through her chest, she knew it was the end. Surprisingly, she did not fear death. She had lived her time and she knew that.
She remembered the times when she laid on Pan's chest late at night, talking with him. She remembered their first date at Dead Man's Peak. She remembered saying the words "I do" and never regretting it. She remembered waking up some mornings seeing Alex laying on Pan's chest. She remembered the parties the Lost Boys had and the games they played. She remembered it all.
Pan did not care that Evelyn was indeed his downfall. He still loved her.

A white light shinned and Pan adjusted his eyes. Evelyn stood in front of him in a white dress, little Alex and the other Lost Boys who lost their lives standing next to her.
"It seems as though the shadow was right," Evelyn spoke sadly.
Pan smiled and shook his head, walk forward to kiss her lips. He pulled away with the same smile. "It doesn't matter. Because I still love you."
"And I still love you." They kissed again and then Evelyn picked up Alex. "Come on boys."
"Are we going on an adventure, mommy?" Alex asked curiously.
Evelyn smiled and kissed her cheek. "Yes, honey. A grand adventure."

Felix had taken over as the leader of Neverland and took care of the remaining Lost Boys. He told stories of Pan and Evelyn to the Lost Boys every night so they never forgot about them. Sometimes the boys say that it's like you can feel the two of them. You can hear Evelyn's laugh and her telling you everything's okay and you can hear Pan bragging to Evelyn how great he is at a game.
Neverland was still a happy place. And all it took was a girl who wanted to end her life. Peter Pan took a leap of faith and that decision changed his entire life.
It changed Neverland forever
