War.
Freddie stood at the front of his army with the head angel next to him. They were positioned atop a hill in the centre of the lost lands. Their men were in a circle, ready to charge down. Archers sat in trees, ready to fire. Freddie sat atop his grey steed, ready to lead his men.
The Devil stood at the front of his army with his best demon next to him. They were positioned in the forests in the lost lands. Their men were behind trees, ready to charge out. Archers sat in trees, ready to fire. The Devil sat atop his flaming steed, ready to lead his men.
The devil made the first move. He charged in front on his horse of fire. He was met by Freddie, on his horse of storm. The devil horse left trails of flames in its wake. Freddie's horses hooves were like thunder, attracting lightning and storm clouds. The storm created by Freddie's horse brought a tornado down, which met with flames, creating a fire tornado. The twister spun around the two immortals, obscuring their view of the two armies.
Every time an angel or demon was struck down it would respawn back in either heaven or hell. The angels were winning.
Freddie brought out a sword of pure silver and lightning and attacked the devil, who retaliated with his pitch fork, which had turned into a sword of iron and flames. The two swords clashed, creating a sound like a thousand fireworks. Flames and lightning shot in every direction. One hit his daughter, Jenny, who had gone to find her father, squarely in the chest. Freddie leaped of his horse and ran to her, kneeling down beside her.
"Why are you here?" He asked her.
"I... I came to find you.... Wish you... Good luck."
"You shouldn't have come! Come on. I'll take you back."
Freddie mounted his horse and headed towards the opal land carryingJenny. While he had his back turned the devil took his chance. He rode up behind Freddie and struck him off his horse. He fell to the ground, a deep cut in his side. With his last bit of strength he put Jenny on his horse and slapped its hindquarters, sending it to the opal land. After that he collapsed, the devil looming over him, his sword raised. The other angels, believing they were defeated, gathered around the two immortals. They were immortal, unless one was struck down by the other in battle, for they didn't regenerate like the other angels or demons. The devil took Freddie's sword and connected it to his, harnessing the power of fire and storm. Freddie closed his eyes and accepted his fate. What could he do? He was lying in a crumpled heap on a muddy battlefield, with a maniac above him about to kill him.
The two swords were ready to fall when an unknown demon archer, recognising the bent silver feathers barely visible as the mark of his king, threw an arrow which landed next to freddie. The angel and demon king grasped it and, as the swords came down, thrust it into the Devils stomach. The devil, before falling, plunged the swords into Freddie's chest, just missing his heart.
