A gasp was heard from the crowd. Instead of decapitating the demon, the axe, made of the strongest metal in heaven, shattered upon impact. 

"What is this!" The head angel shrieked. 

"I told you, I'm not a demon! Release my wings now! I'll prove it!"

The executioner released Freddie's wings out of sheer terror. Freddie stood tall, well, as tall as he could with the shackles on his ankles and wrists still in place. He extended his wings slowly, revealing the silver feathers below. 

Everybody gasped and fell to their knees, bowing. Even the head angel.

"Umm... What did I do?" Freddie asked the executioner.

"You did nothing your highness."

"Your highness? What's going on?"

The head angel spoke up. "I'm sorry your highness for trying to kill you."

"Please tell me what is going on"

"Here in the opal land there is a legend. The one of angels and demons will rise, of silver and black the wings he will be wise, one day he will unite all, and save us from our own demise."

"So... What does that mean?"

"It means you are the king of angels! But also the king of demons."
