Alternative ending
•I wanted to add this in just cause, I figure it could be fun to have this ending instead of the usual one that I'm having for the one shot story. I might branch out and do more stories with this ending as well. I'll make sure that they're labeled though•
This isn't cannon to the actual storyline ^-^

(Y/n) POV
"Its a promise ring, for now since I can't ask you to forgive me I wanted to give you something that'll show you I mean what I said."
He ushered me to give him my hand, I did reluctantly and the ring fit.
"Thanks."
Was all I could really muster to say right now, I still could barley look at Levi.
I knew it was a mistake but how does someone do that and then try to make up for it with a stupid gift.
Sure his speech was nice and he can apologize better then Ban or Meliodas but still.
"I'm going to just go for a while."
I said turning to Hanji and Erwin and walking with them back to the barracks.
"I'm sorry (y/n) I should've done something, I was there with him but I was too drunk to even see straight."
Erwin basically pleaded, it sounded like he was the one that cheated on me.
I giggled internally at the thought.
"Don't be, if he wanted to cheat then I'm glad it came out sooner rather than later."
I sighed as Hanji left to grab something from the kitchen.
"Erwin has this ever happened to you? I'd be surprised if it has."
I smiled weakly to try and make it seem like I wasn't still feeling numb inside.
"It has, my late wife did at one point."
"How'd you forgive her?"
"It took time, I still barley forgave her by the time she passed."
"I find it surprising she would, you're one of the few guy humans I actually enjoy talking with."
I looked up at him to see his cheeks flush red as Hanji came back holding two bottles of alcohol.
"Well if we're going to be a pitty party might as well drink to it."
She said with fake enthusiasm plaguing her tone.
The cadets were all going back to their dorms now so it was fine for us to drink.
"Can we go to your lab or your office? I'd rather not be around people if I'm going to be drunk."
I said quietly as they both nodded, we started to head over to Erwins office.
It was a big office so I figured it would be nicer than Hanji's messy lab.
We opened the door and all sat down, Erwin and I were on the couch and Hanji was sitting next to me in a separate chair.
She poured 3 shots and handed one to us.
"Cheers to bad life decisions!"
She still was trying super hard not to sound sad or annoyed and it was easy to tell.
We all downed the shots, she poured more and we just all kept taking them.
I felt bad for Erwin since he was drunk as hell yesterday and now he's taking more, he didn't protest the idea but it seemed like he was going to be a wreck tomorrow.
"So what are we going to do now?"
I took another shot since I was barley drunk compared to both of them.
"Not sure! Almost every conversation would probably lead to depressing shit so let's just roll with it!"
Hanji said as she slumped down in her chair.
"Hanji I asked Erwin before, but have you ever been cheated on?"
"I haven't dated for a reason (y/n), maybe when I was a cadet but I barley remember it."
She giggled at her own words now, I was still basically chugging the whole bottle at this point since being a goddess makes alcohol taste like nothing.
"I'm still surprised Levi would do that, he's always been a very cut and dry man since he tried to kill me."
Erwin said, Hanji was probably the most drunk out of all of us, Erwin only seemed a bit tipsy.
"He tried to kill you?"
"When he joined yes, it was a long time ago."
"Well tell me Commander, how was he when he was a cadet then?"
I giggled seeing him sit up and think for a moment.
"About as rude as he is now, only difference is that he can bark orders with permission."
He chuckled lowly as I joined in giggling, Hanji basically passed out on the chair.
"Oh yea where am I sleeping tonight? I don't want to go back to Levi's room."
I said, it was getting past dinner by now and we had all been talking for quite some time.
I figured Ban, Meliodas, and Gloxina had gone home already.
"You're welcome to sleep in my room, I know it probably will be uncomfortable for you but I feel like it's better."
Erwin said plainly, I honestly wasn't even sure if he was still drunk.
"I'd be alright with that I just don't want to sleep in the same bed as Levi for a while, I can't get the thought of him sleeping with Petra from my head."
"It's alright."
He said as we both stood up and walked through a door connecting to his office that lead to his bedroom.
He sat down and stripped off his clothes until he was on boxers then he slid on sweatpants like Levi.
He sat down on the bed as I laid down and started dozing off looking at the ceiling.
"(Y/n)?"
He snapped me from my thoughts as I noticed I had drawn blood on my hand, I was squeezing it so hard I pierced myself with my nail.
"S-sorry yea?"
"We should have that patched up if you don't want to heal it."
"I don't know if I want to or not, hell I had my friends also beat the shit out of me and that barley did anything."
I closed my eyes and felt Erwin grab my hand, he kissed it and wiped off the blood so it wouldn't drip.
"I understand, I'm still sorry that this happened to you. You're a goddess after all I figure that's More of a human problem."
He chuckled softly to himself, I just smiled and relaxed into the pillows.
"Maybe, all the other couples in the sins aren't human so I wouldn't know."
"They arent?"
"No, Ban is dating a fairy, and Meli is dating a goddess. Gowther dated a human for a while but that was mind control so I don't count it."
I sighed slightly thinking about how that whole ordeal happened.
"Mind control? Well that's certainly one way to get a woman into bed."
"Oh he didn't even want to sleep with her, he literally can't cause he's a doll."
"Your world is fascinating (y/n)."
He chuckled as he looked at me I kept smiling since it was true, our worlds were so different.
"Commander?"
"Yes?"
"Can you indulge me with something?"
"What is it?"
I smirked as I pulled him into a kiss, he seemed surprised at my actions since he didn't kiss back immediately.
He eventually melted into the kiss and pulled me closer to him, I scratched the back of his neck before moving up to his hair to pull him closer to me.
"No one has to know what we do."
I smiled against his lips as he growled and pulled me on top of him.
I shifted on his hips as he moved his hands to rub my sides.
"You're alright with this?"
He said, his voice was rough it sounded like he had wanted this for a long time, he was desperate now.
"I said indulge me Commander."
I purred as I pulled him into a heated kiss once again, his hands slid under my dress before he pulled it off me.
He kissed down my neck and began sucking on my nipples.

I whimpered as he smiled against me before sucking harder, he pulled off and pressed me down on my back.

"I'm a goddess, me getting drunk takes about half a bar."
We both laughed lightly before I felt my eyes getting heavy.

We both woke up early, the sun was barley up as I saw him getting ready for the day.
"Someone's up early."
I giggled as I sat up seeing him finishing putting on the leather straps for their gear.
"I can say the same to you (y/n)."
He chuckled before fixing his hair and sitting down beside me.
"You don't regret last night do you?"
He asked plainly, it was pretty obvious that he didn't regret it at all.
"I don't, if Levi takes Zelis place he'll have more than an eternity to make it up to me. I think I can have some fun for a night."
I smiled as he just nodded and stood up once again, I tried to stand up but it hurt so I just spread my wings and began to hover.
"I didn't think I was that rough with you."
He teased as I slid my dress over my head.
"That wasn't rough?"
I giggled as I relaxed in mid air.
"I was being gentle."
He smirked fixing his tie before opening the door for me.

We made our way to the mess hall and I felt physically ill seeing Levi and Petra was still trying to talk with him.
Erwin could definitely see the discomfort on my face so he touched my shoulder and rubbed lightly.
He walked to the table while I floated and sat down beside him and Hanji.
Levi and Petra were on the other side, along with some of the members of his squad.
Petra scoffed as I sat down, I just rolled my eyes and held my hand in a snap position.
"I suggest you don't fucking piss me off more you disgusting fucking slut. I'll kill everyone I resurrected and go home. I'll leave you and this whole fucking nation painted red for all I care."
I said blankly looking up at her as she squealed quietly, Levi looked dead, his eyes were puffy, he looked more pale that usual and his whole demeanor was barley there.
"(Y/n) it's alright."
Hanji tried to comfort me, she was very clearly hung over but she was trying.
"I'm going to go, Hanji I want to try something. Come with me."
I ushered as she stood up almost immediately and followed me out.
I heard Petra still talking as I left.
"I told you she's fucking psycho!!"
I had my hand on my thigh as I floated, I ripped a slash into my leg as we exited the mess hall, my blood dripped down on the floor as we did.
"Why did you do that (y/n)? You're bleeding like crazy!"
Hanji said noticing the slash on my leg.
"I told you I'm an irrational person, to keep myself from doing something stupid I resort to that. I can heal it easily, it's not a big deal."
I said calmly as she just looked worried the whole time that we went to the top of the wall.
There were a bunch of cadets up there for cannon duty.
"(Y/n) did that happen in the fight y-yesterday?"
Jean questioned as I flew Hanji up and set her down with them.
"No."
I didn't exactly want to talk but when he said that Eren, Armin, Mikasa, Sasha, and Connie all looked worried.
"W-where was it from?"
Armin stuttered out, he knows that I can only really be injured by a demon or a goddess.
"It's a small injury I don't care much to explain."
I said coldly, I just wanted them to leave me alone.
"Alright so what did you want to show me (y/n)?"
I sat down on the ledge as the other cadets swarmed Hanji and me, they all were confused but they stayed quiet.
"I want to see if my singing can put titans to sleep, I can change frequency to put certain creatures to sleep."
I explained as Hanji just seemed surprised while Eren sat down beside me.
I liked the kid, he had a lot of determination and reminded me of Ban when Ban wasn't here.
"Go for it (y/n) you still amaze us everyday."
He said looking off into the distance, he was so caring, I wonder how many times he's gotten hurt too.
I leaned my head on him before grabbing his hand and squeezing, he seemed surprised at this but he smiled non the less.
"Hanji just watch the titans. I can bring you another test subject if they do fall asleep."
I sighed seeing her smile at me but nod with hope in her eyes.

I started seeing the cadets all relax slightly, Eren was humming along next to me. The titans below us started to relax slightly as well.

With the last lines Eren looked up at me, his eyes were caring, they were filled with sadness at my words. It seemed like now he was about to cry.
I heard loud thuds on the ground and saw a bunch of the smaller titans had fallen asleep.

"The bed's getting cold and you're not here, the future that we hold is so unclear. But I'm not alive until you call, and I'll bet the odds against it all.
Save your advice 'cause I won't hear.
You might be right but I don't care."

I stopped when I saw the larger titans fall to the ground asleep.
"You got rope?"
I asked leaning my head against Eren's, I turned around to see all the cadets looking at me sadly but Hanji nodded and grabbed a rope from one of the cannons.
She handed it to me and I went to stand up.
"Heal yourself first."
Eren gripped my hand so I couldn't get up, he sounded cold.
"Fine."
I healed my thigh as I dropped down and tied up one of the sleeping 8 meter titans before bringing it up and setting it on the wall away from the cadets.
I walked towards them as they all stood up and smiled at me, I had Armin hug me.
"I won't hurt any of you regardless, you should be comforting your Captain."
I pulled away seeing Armin shake his head.
"You sounded hurt even when you were singing, you're the victim here."
He almost yelled which surprised me since Armin is normally incredibly quiet.
"He was drunk, Petra threw herself at him. He did let it happen but he's a victim too."
I seared as I flew over to Hanji.
"I'm going to walk around outside the walls for a while, the titans will be asleep and I need time alone."
"(Y/n) just come to my lab with me alright? You can't bottle this up."
"Go comfort your Captain."
I glared as she kept her gaze on me.
"He's not one for comfort. Never has."
"Go. I want time alone."
I didn't wait for her to reply, I just hopped down from the wall and began to walk.

I walked until it was pretty late into the afternoon.
"If you're just going to watch me, at least say something."
"I've never seen you this hurt."
"I've never let myself get this hurt."
"You are definitely a strong one (y/n)."
"Save me the praise Sariel."
I turned to see the boy floating behind me a decent distance away.
"Why don't you just come home already?"
"Don't want to."
"Why not?"
"Because I said no."
"Fine."
The kid was always a brat, I loved him like a little brother but I couldn't stand how stubborn he was sometimes.
"Can you answer me something honestly?"
"Of course I can (y/n)."
He flew towards me and sat beside me.
"Can I bring someone back who's been dead for a long time?"
"You may if their soul wasn't eaten by a demon, but you know full well that's probably not the case."
"It is for people here."
"What do you mean? They don't have demons here? Meliodas has been here and so have the commandments."
"They didn't eat any souls. I made sure of that."
I said looking up at the sky as it turned a light shade of pink in the sunset.
"You may be able to then."
I sighed to myself and sat down beside him.
"I just need to find the souls then, I'll see you around Sariel. I miss you and the archangels even though you all were a mess."
I chuckled to myself softly as he hugged me.
"Call us back next time when this happens, you don't need demons with you."
"They're friends, calm down I'm not replacing you."
"Fine, fine, I'll tell the others you're alright."
"I'll see you soon."
I said as I let him go and he flew off with a smile and a nod.

Levi POV
I could hear (y/n)'s singing earlier, even then she sounded hurt. I was surrounded by the cadets, my squad, and Erwin.
I didn't want to confide in any of them. It hurt too much regardless I didn't need pity for something that was my mistake.
We had been sitting around in the mess hall for hours, no one had training today since the events of yesterday were still fresh in everyone's minds.
"Levi it's alright."
Gunter tried to comfort me, Petra had left once I snapped at her.
I had a drink in my hand and I couldn't tell if I wanted to drink it or just throw it at one of the fucking brats in the room.
I heard the door open and I just laid my head down on the table.
"Big bro? Is there something wrong?"
I was fucking hearing things.
"Oi Levi the fuck is your problem? What's with the drink?"
I looked up to see Erwin with wide eyes, the rest of the older cadets as well.
"I-Isabel? F-Farlan?"
I couldn't believe my eyes, I soon had Isabel running up to me with tears in her eyes and Farlan trying to pull her off me.
"Be gentle with him Isabel! Something clearly happened!"
He successfully pulled her off me, I felt my tears dripping down my face.
"You both died, (y/n) can't bring you back."
"Oh big bro is that the angel we saw? She said something about us being lucky."
Isabel scratched her head as Farlan looked shocked to see everyone.
"Since when are you close with Erwin?"
He looked at Erwin with a tilted head seeming surprised that I was sitting along side him.
"It's a long story, did she tell you anything before she left?"
"She said you needed some friends, something about you being a victim? I don't really know."
Isabel said seeming as happy as ever.
"Girl said something about you missing us too so she said 'no dying again, this is a one time thing' before she left."
Farlan explained and I still couldn't wrap my head around this.

(Y/n) POV
I felt bad, I probably shouldn't have disturbed their eternal rest but Levi needs them.
All his cadets and friends are comforting me, I don't need it.
I had my breakdown yesterday but he's seemingly taking this harder than I thought.
He had told me a while ago about the friends he lost when he joined the corps, he said they had been dead for a long time.
I knew I could probably be able to bring them back since demons hadn't touched this earth until Meliodas had come here.
Most of the souls were long gone enough to where Derieri, Mael, Gloxina and any other demon couldn't eat them.
I was lost in thought so much I wandered back to the walls. I flew up them and saw all the cadets heading down for dinner.
I dropped down once again and followed them inside, they all seemed to be relaxing now.
I then saw Isabel and Farlan, they were talking with Levi but he just seemed in disbelief.
I sat down next to Erwin as he rubbed my back, Levi and the others didn't seem to notice.
"Hey that's the angel!!"
Isabel yelled as I just burried my head into Erwins shoulder.
"Why did you do this?"
Levi asked, he was shocked but he clearly didn't want to show it.
"You needed it."
"You said you couldn't bring people who were dead back from that."
"I had to fly through literal heaven and hell to bring them back. You're lucky I could even find them."
I seared as Isabel pulled me off Erwin into a very tight hug.
"Thank you angel girl!"
"It's (y/n), please don't call me that."
She nodded cheerfully into my neck.
"Alright (y/n) well thank you!! I missed big bro!!"
She squealed happily as I placed my hand over hers for a moment.
"Isabel let her go."
Levi said as she pouted and let me go.
"Now what's wrong big bro?"
"Yea it's been a while Levi, I've never seen you cry before so the fuck happened while we were gone?"
They prodded as I got up to walk to Hanji's lab, I didn't exactly want to hear Levi telling them again.

I walked to Hanji's office where she was tying up the new titan, she named it Jeffrey which was probably suiting for it.
"Hey Hanji"
I said as she stopped poking the titan with a pole and looked at me.
"I heard about what you did."
She pushed her glasses up and smiled at me sweetly.
"Non of you are very close with him, I figured he needs people he's close with."
"How is it even possible?"
"I had to go through hell first to see if they were there then I had to rummage through a bunch of shit in heaven to find them."
"That definitely sounds interesting but why? Levi cheated on you, he doesn't deserve shit."
"I love him, I don't need him to suffer now."
She just nodded as I sat down to relax into one of her chairs covered in papers.

I woke up in Hanji's chair, my neck hurt but I turned enough to see a passed out Hanji at her desk.
"(Y/n) are you in here?"
Erwin said as he entered the lab, he seemed concerned that I wasn't in a bedroom last night.
"I am."
I said getting up and running my neck.
"I was worried, I wanted to ask you why you thought Levi's dead comrades back but I figure it's just cause you care about him."
"Yea you're right about that, I hope I didn't worry you too much."
"It's alright, come with me. Hanji will be asleep for a while."
I floated to him and grabbed his arm for support.
We made it outside and I saw Levi drinking with Farlan while Isabel was messing around on a horse.
"Erwin what are you doing?"
"I figure you should formally meet the people you saved."
I just accepted it, Levi looked pissed to see me holding on to his arm.
I was doing it to prevent myself from slashing my leg again out of anger.
"Hey it's (y/n)-sis!"
Isabel said as she rode up to us on the horse.
"It's nice to meet you both formally."
I said looking at Farlan and Isabel, I couldn't bring myself to look at Levi.
"So what exactly are you if you aren't an angel? Last thing I remember was being eaten by a titan and now I'm here all fine?"
Farlan questioned as he took another swig from the bottle.
"A goddess."
"Wait seriously?!"
"I am yes."
"Why would you save us then? We aren't important?"
I sighed before looking at Levi, he was looking up at me with his usual glare.
"Levi needed you."
"Why would that make you bring us back though?"
"Consider it a gift."
I snapped as he put his hands up and chuckled with Isabel.
"Erwin I want to go, I don't feel well."
I said looking up at him, he seemed pretty happy but he just nodded and walked with me.
"A gift?"
He questioned quietly as we wandered the fields.
"It's my version of revenge."
"Revenge, I don't understand. Forgive me for my ignorance."
"You don't need to apologize, he's going to live for ever. They won't, he knows that, that's why he wasn't so excited to see them."
I said looking back up at him, he just chuckled to himself.
"I see, but I can assume that means you will go back to him eventually."
"I will, I'm just trying to get over my own petty anger first."
"It's not petty. He did cheat on you."
"It's petty for me to let him suffer for it."
He just smiled down at me before ruffling my hair.
"What's that saying again? Hell has no furry quite like a woman's scorn? I believe that's appropriate."
We laughed together for a few moments.
"Oh you haven't seen anything yet."
