The dreaded ominous week is here.Everything seems a bit off.The environment,the air,the feelings,everything is different.Everything is giving a bad and scary vibe.

A day feels like a year.A lot of spirits attacked Jihee and Jihoon.Sora and Taehyung managed to get rid of them.Taehyung was in pain the whole day.Looked like his whole body hurts.Taehyung tried to hide it from Sora but Sora noticed it anyway.Whatever Hyukjae was saying about Taehyung's wings,back,head and eyes hurting,he was right.Sora didn't know how to deal with them.She wishes she knew.

Finally evening came.The time after the sunset was more dangerous.Taehyung told Sora to close every window and door of the house and to make sure no one opens them.That way devils won't be able to enter.She was asked to stay near Jihee and Jihoon to protect them from spirits.Taehyung would stay in the roof and deal with the devils.Taehyung's condition was getting worse after sunset.But Taehyung didn't listen to her when she stopped him from going to the roof.

Sora was walking up and down in Jihee's room.She was scared and she could hear fighting and shouts from the roof the whole evening.Looks like a lot of devils are attacking.Sora doesn't know how long Taehyung would be able to fight with them in this pained condition.What if he gets injured?Sora was so scared about it.This time Sora was actually more scared about Taehyung then Jihee and Jihoon.

Devils kept coming the whole evening.Spirits didn't attack a lot somehow,so Sora didn't have much to do.She just had to look after the twins and they were doing fine.

But after both of twins were asleep,Sora didn't have anything to do or think about.She was just getting more and more scared about Taehyung.She stayed downstairs for some time even after Jihee and Jihoon were sleeping.But after sometime she just couldn't take it anymore.She had to check up on Taehyung.

So even though Taehyung strictly forbade her to come upstairs,she did.From outside she could hear small groans of Taehyung.Her heart hurt.He must be in so much pain.

She slowly opened the door of the roof and entered.There were no devils to be seen.Taehyung was sitting in the middle of the roof.He was back facing her.The back of his shirt had splatters of blood in it.He was groaning from internal pain.He turned around when he heard the sound of the door.Sora's heart hurt again after seeing his pained expression.And one thing shocked her.When he turned around for a split second his grayish blue eyes turned purple.It was a bit shocking.Then his eyes turned back to his real eye colors again.His hair was disheveled.Everything was a huge mess.

When he saw Sora he tried to hide his pain again.He tried to have a normal expression,"I thought I told you to not come up no matter what."

Sora didn't listen to him.She stepped forward.

"Sora-yah,don't come closer.I'm not in my right mind.I don't know what I might do to you,"Taehyung said.

Sora stepped closer again.

While she was stepping closer Taehyung suddenly felt the pain increase again.His eyes and back were hurting so bad and Sora saw his eyes turn purple again.It was not an usual scenery.She doesn't know what's causing them.She doesn't know what's causing him this pain.

Taehyung let out a pained scream.That sounded scary.Taehyung somehow looked at Sora with his purple eyes.He wanted to see her reaction.She is definitely going to be scared now.He told her not to come up here.He didn't want to scare her.He knows he looks really scary right now.He looks like a literal monster.

Sora was frozen in her spot.Taehyung knew she was scared.He wanted to tell her to leave but couldn't because everything was hurting so much that he couldn't talk.

Sora was looking at him.Her expression was changing.She was supposed to look scared.But she doesn't look scared.She looks.....sad?

Taehyung was confused as to why she was sad.The next thing she did shocked him more.She ran towards him,sat down beside him and hugged him tightly.It was a tight hug but it was reassuring.As if she was telling him everything is going to be okay.A wave of peace suddenly ran through Taehyung's body.

Sora was shaking,but not in fear.She was shaking,trying not to let her tears fall down.

"Taehyung-ah..It must hurt a lot,right?"Sora asked in her shaky voice.She was sad because Taehyung is in pain.Taehyung didn't expect this reaction from her.Everyone else was scared,why isn't she?

"Sora-yah.."

"Is there any way I can get rid of it?"Sora asked trying to hold back her tears and holding Taehyung tightly is her arms.

"Sora,I'm okay..You don't need to be so.."

"No!!You're not!!I'm tired of you pretending that it doesn't hurt when it actually does!!And stop hiding it from me!!"Sora shouted and left the hug to look at him.

Her eyes were watering.She was frustrated,angry and worried about him.She was shouting at him like this because she cares about him so much.

Taehyung smiled thinking about that.His pain has reduced a bit.His eyes also turned back to his normal colors.

"Ah!Why are you so annoying?If it hurts you should say it hurts.Why do you want to hide it?You think you are above all the pain?You fudging biscuit?"Sora shouted angrily while looking at him.

Taehyung chuckled at her shouting and cursing.It feels so nice to see her get worked up over him like this.

"Can you for once curse properly?"Taehyung asked,"I want to hear you curse properly for once!"

Sora got angrier,"I hate you!!!"Then she smacked him on his arm.

"Ouch!"Taehyung said while rubbing his arm.

Sora's angry expression soon turned into a sad and worried expression.She quickly rubbed his arm and said,"Oh my God,I'm so sorry.Does this hurt?"

Taehyung was so amused by this reaction.He smirked seeing her care so much about him,"It's okay!It doesn't hurt.Really."

"Then where does it hurt?Yah!I saw blood on your shirt.Turn around,"Sora said.

"No,you aren't looking there.."

Before Taehyung could even finish Sora herself went behind him and inspected his shirt.There were splatters of blood everywhere.But as far as she knew,Angels also get hurt and bleed too.They bleed when they are really really hurt.But they heal really quick within a few seconds.Why isn't his ones stopping?

"Taehyung-ah,take off your shirt,I need too..."

"Oh...I thought we were taking things slow?"Taehyung asked.

Sora was behind Taehyung.She couldn't see his expression.Even though she didn't see it she knows he is having too much fun and smirking evilly.It surprised her that he is having fun even when he is in so much pain.

Taehyung further added,"After being with me,you've become so bold.I like it!"

"You are having fun,aren't you?"Sora asked,"And I'm over here on the verge of crying.I don't even know what can I do to help or get rid of this pain.I can't bear seeing you in so much pain.It hurts!"Sora's voice shook.This time a few drops of tears actually rolled down her eyes.

Taehyung stayed silent while backfacing her for sometime.Because she was behind him,she couldn't see his expression.He was completely silent for sometime before saying in a really low voice,

"Sora-yah,getting attached to me will only hurt you more and more in the future."

He said this in such a low voice,it was barely audible.But Sora somehow managed to hear that.

"Sora-yah,please don't be so sad.There's actually no cure to this."

"There has to be a cure,Taehyung-ah.I will search for it as soon as we get back."

Taehyung chuckled hearing that,"You are really cute.Fine,if you want to you can."

"But please tell me if there's something I can do for now."

"There's actually nothing much...oh wait..there's one thing.."Taehyung said.

"What is it?"Sora asked enthusiastically.

Taehyung slowly leaned backwards and kept his head on her lap and laid down completely.Sora was shocked by this.Taehyung then smiled and put one of her hands on his head and then held her another hand.

"Oh..this actually helps!"He exclaimed like a child.

Sora frowned but slowly started to caress his hair,"Are you trying to fool me?"

Taehyung shook his head,"It is actually working.You are my medicine."

Sora cringed,"How did you become so cringeworthy.Gosh!"

"You are right!That was a bit too much,"Taehyung said and laughed.It's amazing that how he can laugh because of her after a whole day of so much pain.He feels a bit relieved.

Sora the slowly started to chit chat with him about everything,about Jihee and Jihoon while she moved her hands through his black hair.He listened to her carefully and laughed.He kept looking at her with all the interest in the world.He even forgot about his pain.

At one point Taehyung said,"Sora-yah,did you feel sad that I didn't take off my shirt?"

Before Sora could say anything Taehyung continued,"Trust me,in any circumstance other than this..I would've taken off the shirt.But I'm not sure whether or not you would be able to handle it.Because..."

Sora's face was turning red,"Stop,you pervert!"

Taehyung laughed,"But I'm serious..you won't be able to handl.."

"STOP!!"

Taehyung laughed again,"Okay,I will stop.But come down.I will tell you a secret."Then he signed her to come down.

Sora slowly leaned down and put her ear in front of his mouth to listen to whatever he has to say.

Taehyung opened his mouth to say something but then he suddenly moved and gave her a peck on her cheek.Sora's eyes widened at that.She knew her face was turning a deep shade of red.She slowly rose up to her previous positions and looked at Taehyung.He was having fun and laughing like a little child,"This is my gift for being with me in this hard time.You like it?"

Sora's heart was swelling because how cute this action was and how cute Taehyung looked being all happy.

"I..uh.."

Before she could finish a few devils flew towards them.

Taehyung let out a loud sigh,"These losers had to come and ruin our romantic moment,didn't they?"

Then he slowly sat up and whispered into Sora's ear,"I will take care of them.You just sit here and make sure no one comes near you.If they do I think I will end up finishing them so make them stay away from you for their own safety."

"Taehyung-ah,I will help.."

Taehyung smiled and ruffled her hair,"You being here is helping me enough."

He then got up and towards the devils.

Sora's jaw dropped seeing what happened next.Taehyung singlehandedly beat four devils without any problem.Sora has only heard how good Taehyung was at fighting.But it's actually her first time seeing it.She was awestruck.No one could tell he was in pain or anything.He is called one of the best fighter angels in heaven after all.And now she knows the reason why.

The devils soon flew away because they knew there was no way any of them could get past Taehyung to go to Jihee and Jihoon.

After Taehyung was done he came and laid down on her lap again as if whatever happened wasn't a big deal.Sora was still in awe.She was complimenting Taehyung and he just blew them off.For the rest of the night they continued to chat.The day felt long but now that they were together time flew by fast.The horrible yellow moon went down and sun rose.

That was the first sunrise they saw together.The sky was slowly brightening up and Taehyung suddenly said,"Pretty."

Sora was looking at the sky at that moment so she thought Taehyung was calling the sky pretty.But actually Taehyung was looking at her face when he said that.

"Yes,It is."Sora said.

Taehyung smiled.

Sora suddenly looked at Taehyung seriously and said,"Taehyung-ah,Do you remember that I promised you that I wouldn't ever leave you?"

Taehyung nodded.He didn't know if she was so tired after this night that she wanted to suddenly break it.He didn't want her to make that promise but thinking about her wanting to break it made him a bit sad.

"About that promise....I want you to stop stopping me from keeping this promise,"Sora said seriously while looking at him.

"Huh?"Taehyung asked.He didn't expect that.

"You were trying to make me stay away from you when you are in pain.Stop doing that.I want to be with you.I am not going to leave you no matter whatever happens.So you should stop trying."

Taehyung smiled.He knows that's not possible.But the way she said it,her seriousness warmed his heart up.

"And.."she added,"I honestly don't care about what you're hiding.I just want to find the cure of your pain.Because seeing you hurt,hurts me.So technically I'm doing this for me."

Taehyung nodded while smiling.

"You have to promise too,"Sora said.

"What?"

"That you won't leave me."

Taehyung raised his brows.He has no intention of doing that anyway.She means a lot to him.But still to make her happy he made the promise,"I promise to never leave you."

Sora nodded but after that she sighed,"I promised myself that I would try to leave a peaceful life at the academy.But here I am,saying all this to a rebel.Nobody truly knows what's ahead."

Taehyung chuckled as Sora sighed and looked up at the sky.

Taehyung looked at her side profile.His head was still on her lap.Her middle parted long hair was tucked behind her ear on this showing her face perfectly.Her face was brightening up like the sky as well.She was looking up at the sky.

Taehyung again smiled seeing this scenery in front of him and again said in his mind.

Pretty.

As Sora promised Sora didn't leave Taehyung's side.They overcame the ominous week together.Being with Sora reduced Taehyung's pain.They also managed to get rid of the devils and spirits together saving both Jihee and Jihoon.No one could harm them.So a green seal appeared on both Sora and Taehyung's papers with Jihee and Jihoon's name.They were successfully done with their task.As soon as the month ended Taehyung's pain also did.He was feeling so free and happy.Sora was so happy that this month ended.

Every angel got one free day to hang around on earth before coming back to academy.After saying goodbye to Jihee and Jihoon even if they can't see it,Sora and Taehyung went out of their house finally.Sora feels really attached to the twins.It was fun guarding them.She hopes they do really well in the future.She would come and see what they are up to from time to time.

As they got a free day Taehyung announced that it was a date and they would visit every beautiful place in gwangju.Sora didn't refuse.So they did hang around a lot.They went to a lot of places.They went to a museum of art,folk museum,parks.They thoroughly enjoyed.Nobody could see them so it was a plus point.

After a whole day of going to different places Sora and Taehyung were walking in a busy street of Gwangju that is full of different shops.They were holding hands like a couple.Sora weirdly didn't feel embarrassed by that.She liked it.

They were walking while looking at the stores on both sides of the road when suddenly Taehyung shouted loudly and excitedly while seeing a shop.Sora was looking on the other side and was surprised to see him scream like that.The other people in the street could hear the scream but when they looked around they couldn't find the source of it.Sora quickly looked at Taehyung and followed his gaze to see what shop got him this excited.Her eyes landed on the shop and they widened immediately.

Taehyung didn't waste anytime and ran towards the shop while pulling Sora behind him.There was no way Sora could stop him.Sora didn't know what to do.
