I woke up to the sound of thunder.

I opened the curtains and saw pouring rain. My expression dropped slightly and I stared out the window. I got dressed in a white short sleeve shirt with black jeans and I slipped on black flats. I still kept my hair in a bun and walked out casually. I entered a room through glass doors with a bunch of computers and a glass staircase that lead up somewhere. Ryuzaki was sitting in his unique way as he looked at the screens. I sat down on the opposite side of the table which was about ten or eleven chairs down. I got out some of my papers and started working.

"You're up early."

I shifted my eyes towards Ryuzaki.

"Is that a bad thing?" I asked.

"No, I just didn't expect you till later this morning."

I nodded and continued to work. It was a bit awkward for an hour or two as it was just me and Ryuzaki.

I leaned back in my chair a bit then thunder roared and I jumped a bit.

It reminded me of gun shots. I only remember them when I was about six to seven months old. The last time I saw my parents.

I shook off the fear and got back to work. I rubbed my eyes with my pointer finger and thumb exhausted. I noticed out of the corner of my eye was that Ryuzaki was staring directly at me. I turned my head to face him and we stared at each other for two minutes straight until lightning struck and I jumped out of my chair and it cluttered on the floor. I breathed heavily for a second then picked it back up and sat down ignoring Ryuzaki.

"Are you alright?"

I nodded not looking at him. I heard him sigh and I looked at him. He was stuffing cake in his mouth and I mentally smiled. He looked at me then the cake and held a slice out.

"Uh... n-no thanks Ryuzaki, I appreciate the offer but--"

"It's quite alright."

He held it out for a few moments until I finally took it slowly. I set I down and ate some. My eyes widened.

STRAWBERRY!!!

I continued to eat it faster than I would have eaten it then turned to Ryuzaki who just stared at how fast I ate it.

"T-thank you. Ryuzaki." I said.

He nodded and turned back to the screens. Thunder shook the building a bit and I jumped again. I growled at myself and sat back down trying to ignore it.

"You can go back to your room if you want and work there."

I nodded.

"Yeah... it might be the best option."

I gathered my things and left the room and before I got to my room, thunder shook and I could feel the vibrations. I dropped my stuff on the couch in my room and sat on the couch. I hated thunder...

I thought about my parents a bit as the thunder and lighting kept striking.

Tears built up in my eyes but I blinked them away.

I got up and left my room without my flats and headed to the roof. I opened the door and the storm immediately hit me and my hair was soon drenched in water. I let it out of the tight bun and it flowed down like a sea of white and it stopped at the ground and flowed a foot away from where it hit the ground. I breathed in and let out slowly. I looked up at the sky and sighed. I then walked to the edge of the building and stood overlooking Japan. My hair was blown to the side and waved in the wind as the rain poured. Tears spilled from my eyes as I stared to sing,

I sighed when I finished and heard some splashing behind me. I turned to see Ryuuzaki standing in a puddle.

"R-Ryuzaki! I-I uh..."

He stared at me with no emotion. My hair still blew in the wind as we stared at each other. I got down from the edge and walked around Ryuzaki. My hair dragged behind me. I then was pulled back. I almost fell but quickly regained balance. I brushed layers of hair from my face and saw Ryuzaki holding it, looking at the length of it.

"R-Ryuzaki?"

He ignored me.

"W-what are y-you doing?"

He looked up at me then dropped my hair and looked away as if he forgot I was there.

I gathered my hair and ringed it out before I went back inside.

Ryuzaki's POV

I watched as Michu sang as tears poured down from her face. She voice was beautiful.

There's not hate, there's no love,
only dark skies that hang above.

I stood listening to more almost hypnotized by her voice. It was like an angels.

I watched as her tears slowly poured down her face. She later finished and I walked towards her. I accidentally stepped in a puddle and she whipped around and looked at me.

"R-Ryuzaki..." she stuttered.

I just stared up at her as she quickly got down from the ledge. I was afraid she would fall but she kept her balance quite well. She walked around me and I grabbed her hair noticing the length. I took the ends and looked at them. She jerked backwards and she looked at me through her hair.

"W-what are y-you doing?" she asked.

I let it go and I felt myself heat up a bit. She gathered her hair and she drained most of the water out and walked back inside. I sighed and looked up at the rain. I did hear the conversation that she had with Watari in the kitchen the night before. I still couldn't figure out the silver blood that she possessed in her blood stream instead of red blood. I shook my head. I had to focus on the Kira Case, I didn't have time to worry about Michu. I walked back inside and grabbed a towel from my room and dried my hair.

I tried to ignore my thoughts about Michu as I walked down the halls to meet the National Police Agency in an hour. I opened the door into the room to find Michu and Watari happily talking. I looked at Michu smiling and I stared at her. Watari turned to the door and I closed the door. I looked at a mirror and saw my face was red. I shook off the feeling and opened the door and walked inside. I saw Watari standing next to Michu with a hand on her shoulder. I sat down on a chair and looked at an empty cup. I listened closely as Michu and Watari talked.

"Watari, what is the current time?" I asked.

"Five thirty. About an hour until they get here, sir."

"Excellent." I said. "Michu, is there any new information on the Kira case we should know about?"

"Not according to the data in the system but I have done my research and found a pattern between the killings."

I looked at Michu, interested.

"What kind of pattern?" I asked.

She handed me a piece of paper. As I took it, our hands slightly touched and I quickly took it. She stepped back as I examined her work.

"I believe you have discovered a slight flaw that Kira might have missed." I said.

"I wouldn't keep my hopes too high." she replied.

I nodded.

"True." I said. "Looks like there may be a point where he was most active between when Kira started the killings and today."

I started to trail off into my thoughts as Michu and Watari stared at me for an answer.

"Thank you for the data Michu, I'll be sure to share this with the National Police Agency when they arrive."

Michu nodded and walked towards the door.

"I would also ask if you would be willing to join me for cake and coffee after the meeting Michu."

She stopped.

"Y-you want to have cake w-with me?"

"Yes." I said hoping she didn't see the blush on my face as I heated up a bit.

"I-I um..."

"It's okay if you don't want to--"

"I'd be happy to join you Ryuzaki." she replied.

"Okay then." I said.

I saw her smile and when I looked up, her expression dropped and she walked away. I heated up a bit more seeing her cute smile but I shook it off. I needed to focus.

"L?"

"Yes Watari?"

"Do you like Michu?"
