At that time, I had greatly disappointed you, and had understood I was someone you could do without.

As shameless as I was, I was too arrogant to say 'sorry',

My ego got the best of me, even though I did worry.

In the end, you allowed me just another chance when you let me in your room,

Because the tears at 2AM in the night were too painful for you to hear, I assume.

I have nightmares about that event to this day.

Even though you've been so cheerful, just as usual, today.
