The hatchings

~Turtle's POV~
It was happening. The eggs were hatching. Kinkajou bounced up and down, watching the eggs carefully. A large crack had appeared in the top of the pink and yellow one, but the green egg was shaking, rocking side-to-side. Suddenly, the egg toppled, and the dragonet fell out onto the floor. He was green, like Turtle, with pale blue glow-in-the-dark stripes. He had Rainwing ruff, fangs, and claws, but the Seawing chest frill, webs, and gills. Kinkajou squealed, and scooped him up in her arms. The second eggs crack widened, and a dragonet shot through the top, spraying eggshells everywhere. This dragonet had a Rainwing build, but the glow-in-the-dark stripes. These stripes were pink, the dragonet being yellow with hints of purple and pale green. Her eyes were a jade green, and she had the features of a Rainwing. Turtle inspected her claws. They had small webs between them, and it looked like she had gills. He to picked her up, and together, the new family embraced.

~Moons POV~
It was the night. She could feel it.
The moons bathed Possibility in silver light, as she and Qibli sat on top of the arch with their egg. Moon leaned into Qibli, who had a comforting heat rising from his scales. Moon looked up at the moons, smelling crisp, fresh high-up air. When she looked down again, the egg was silver. She got up quickly.
"It's time". Qibli hurried up as well, and they leaned over the edge. Tiny webs began to appear on the surface, and the egg slowly collapsed to reveal a tiny dragonet.

~The dragonet's POV~
She saw the moons, and she wanted to prise them out of the sky and swallow them and be with them forever. Two dragons stood above her. One must be Mother, and the pale one....that was Father. She chirped happily, and lifted her arms toward the sky. Mummy picked her up, and held her up to the moons. She giggled joyfully. A painful flash wormed it's way through her brain. Something pulsed aggressively. Mummy looked up at the sky. It was an eclipse. A lunar eclipse. She screamed as the pain made it's way through her brain. She thrashed about, desperate to fling it away, and she sailed out of Mummy's arms, hitting the ground with a sickening thud.
