Anemone was standing next to her, and she felt her heart swell with love for a dragon she would die for. Life was so much better with her just next to her, breathing the same air, hearing the same sounds, seeing the same dragons-

Oh. Tamarin's stomach dropped. Although she never told anyone, not being able to see was her biggest regret. Which it shouldn't be, seeing as she was born blind. She stiffened at the word. Anemone must have noticed, because she put a comforting hand on Tamarin's shoulder., and she felt her whole body relax. She smiled, and slipped her talon into Anemones, fingering the pearl bracelet she always wore. Tamarin's only adornments were a simple flower necklace, and a beautiful light pink flower in her ear that matched Anemones scales. Tamarin sighed, and focused again on the conversation she was having with Coral and Anemone.

"And we will have a huge celebration in the kingdom of the sea, at Pearl palace" Queen Coral finished. Anemone smiled.

"I'll be there"! She said happily. Coral nodded.

"Good to see your enthusiasm. Also, did I tell you that I'm pleased your in a relationship"? Anemone opened her mouth to speak-

"Pike will make a fabulous king one day" she winked, and Anemone gulped, releasing her hand from Tamarin's. Tamarin kept herself from bursting into tears. She kept telling herself not to get attached to Anemone, that she would eventually leave her to govern the kingdom of the sea with Pike, that they could never be with each other.........but she couldn't stop her affection from growing, like flowers. The more time she spent with Anemone, the closer they got. They were just friends for a while, then good friends, then best friends and now.......she wasn't sure what they were. They were more than best friends. Coral said her goodbyes, giving a pale Anemone a hug, then she flew away, back to the kingdom of the sea.

"Are you okay"? Tamarin whispered, reaching for Anemones talon. Anemone stepped away quickly, giving a weak, tearful smile.

" Yes", she said, and then she lifted off, and flew away.
