So if you're an old fan of this book and the previous one, you may remember this character. If you either are an old fan but missed him, didn't see him or you are new, allow me to introduce him.

Meet Ben.

To put it basically, Ben is Romeo's older brother and was originally part of a 'what if' AU until he started appearing in more stuff, making him an official OC. Ben served as an additional element to Romeo's backstory, implying that losing him and being alone for a portion of his childhood was part of the reason Romeo went insane from him, Xara and Fred grew apart. He also served as an alternative love interest for Aneesah in case the OCxCannon was getting old or awkward.

However, there are some official changes to his character. There are two main changes. One is that Aneesah is not his love interest anymore. Instead he has his own love interest called Donna, who I will introduce soon. Also, instead of Romeo being alone for a part of his childhood after he and Ben were separated, he his alone for the entirety of his childhood, emphasizing the impact his loneliness at the time would have had on his turning into the Admin seen in Canon.

The reason I have made the change of giving Ben his own love interest is because I have been thinking of adding him to the core universe. Ultimately this means his dynamic with Aneesah would have to be a brother and sister like relationship, where she can confide in him if she needs an ear, other than Xara, Jesse, Jess or Lukas. This also makes him Endria, Asha and Julius' uncle.

I'd imagine Romeo and Aneesah are married by the time they are roped into another adventure. Aneesah may or may not be a month pregnant with Endria and Asha and has mood swings where she gets frustrated at how fussy Romeo has been about finding his long lost brother that he just found out was alive. They'd definitely have an argument and something bad would separate them, leading to Aneesah being the one to meet Ben first, developing a sibling like friendship with him. It's only down the line she realizes who he is and the adventure comes into place that ends with Ben promising to visit his newly formed family whenever he can.

By the Time Aneesah gives birth to the girls, Romeo comments, "Man, Tyler and Xara sure missed a lot," since those two would probably have started their honeymoon as the story started. When their two closest friends come back, they are ready to introduce them to the newest members of the family.
