3rd Person's POV:
The group arrived back at the cottage, but with that thing following them, dangerously close. "Uh, guys! Looks like that thing doesn't want us to leave!!" Andie announced, glancing back at the closing in monster. Ace looked behind, and he regretted it, "Are you kiddin' me?! It knocked off all that stuff and came after us!!"

"Uuuuhhh.....uuugghhh...! Give...it...ba- ck...!!!!"

the monster demanded. Andie and the others were already near the portal, but the monster didn't show any sight of stopping. "Shoot...it's gonna catch up to us!" Deuce said, panicked. Andie being on the back stopped, and looked at the monster again, noticing that its movement was already slowing down, as if... "Guys!" the others stopped and looked at Andie, "I think it's weaker now! We might just..." Andie didn't finish her sentence, but the others seem caught up to what Andie meant. Ace groaned in frustration, "Aaaaahhh, fine!!" and pointed his magic pen at the monster, "Let's finish it! Don't let me down, Mr. Serious!" Deuce also pointed his magic pen at the monster, "You, too!" Grim also stood in front of them, "I'll show off my true power daso!!"

FWOOSH~

Grim exhaled his blue fire again, and hit the monster. "I'll leave the attack to you guys! I'll go and try to distract it!!" Andie said, running closer to the monster, "Oi!!" Deuce called out. "Wait for my command!!" Andie ordered loudly. The monster groaned in pain, its strength was still quite powerful, knowing the three were still nowhere in the level with the other students from yesterday, facing this monster face to face, they'll be sure knocked out immediately! "I wonder..." Andie thought, if this creature really is Grumpy, then he might know what Andie is about to do. When the monster was about to land a punch at the magic three, Andie whistled.

Whistle~ Whistle~

The monster jolted, pausing it's movement then turned at Andie. Andie continued to whistle, she knew the monster knew what song she was whistling. The very song the monster used to sing with its old companions, the monster turned to look at Andie, letting out a low rumble.

"How...did you...know...that-...SOOONG!?"

the monster demanded, and charged its punch toward Andie. Andie quickly dodged it. That really is Grumpy!

(A/N: I mean that's what I'm assuming since that monster from the prologue has the same clothes and hat like Grumpy from Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs movie, so just roll with it until we know for sure)

"Oof!" Andie grunted as she landed on her stomache, she look up to see her necklace is a few feet away from her in front of a river, "My necklace!" Andie yelled, her necklace must have flew off her neck when she landed.

"Grrrr!"

Andie gasps as she turned around to see the monster behind her and quickly got up and start running. "Andie! Hang on!" Ace yelled as he and Deuce points their magic pens at the monster while Grim blew more fire at it to protect Andie. But somehow, the monster keeps fighting back as it continues to chase after her. Andie reached to the river and quickly grabbed her necklace, she turned around, knowing she doesn't have enough time to put it back on as the monster is closing in on her. Andie back up into the river, not knowing what's happening underneath her feet. The monster then suddenly blast ink like arrows from it's hands, ready to kill her.

"ANDIE!!" Ace, Deuce and Grim yelled in fear, Andie lifted her arms up but for some reason, the arrows didn't hit her, "EEEEEHHHH?!?!?!" The boys yelled with the monster shocked at what he saw, Andie look up to see what's going on, only to be shocked when she saw a wall of thick ice appeared in front of her, stopping the ink arrows from killing her! "Whoa! What the hell?!" Andie shouted, the monster snapped out of it's shock and raised it's fist, ready to punch her, however...

CLANG!!!

"Guaaaaah!!!"

A large cauldron hit and knock the monster off its feet away from Andie as Ace, Deuce and Grim ran up to Andie who jumped back on land. "Andie-san! Are you alright?!" Deuce asked panicky, "I'm fine. But that thing isn't done yet. Look!" Andie pointed at the monster who is getting back on it's feet. "Ace!! Let out your large tempest at it!!" Andie commanded. "Roger!!" Ace said, pointing his magic pen, "Come forth!! Extra Large Tempest!!" the monster caught in the large tornado in shock, and seems like it can't escape now. "Deuce! Can you make small cauldrons!?" Deuce panicked, "S-Smaller!? I-I'll try!!!" he closed his eyes, and concentrated. "Ei!! Come forth!! Cauldrons!!" then popped up floating small cauldrons, and soon the cauldrons got sucked into the tornado. The small cauldrons were flying in the tornado, and smacked the monsters multiple times, and the cauldrons hit it pretty hard.

The monster let out pained screaming, and groaned, it tried to break out! Andie saw this, "Grim!! Another of your fire at it!!" Andie ordered. "Alright!! The Great Grim's FIRE SPECIAL!!!" Grim let out another large amount of blue fire, and with the large tornado, it became another large fire tornado.

"GGGUUUUUUUAAAAAAHHHHHH!!!!!!!!"

the monster screamed, and Andie looked down at her hands, 'If I really did what I just did back there, maybe I can,' Andie put her necklace in her pocket, and moved her hands in a circular motion, created some large ice. Ace, Deuce and Grim saw from the corner of their eyes and are in awe as Andie threw the ice at the monster, hitting it as hard as she can. Andie then stomps her foot and ice travels towards and under the monster, Andie motions her hands up and icicles shot up and stab the monster in it's stomach, arms and legs.

"GGGUUUUUUUAAAAAAHHHHHH!!!!!!!!"

Andie motions her hands circular and create a big ice and threw at the monster. She heard to what it sounds like a mirror shattering as the fire tornado soon died out, and what was remaining of the monster, is a black stone. "Huff...huff...!" Deuce panted, Ace looked at the remains, still in shock, "We...did it?" "W-We won..." Grim said, "We actually won daso!!!" he cheered, excitedly, bringing the group to cheer as well. "Hooray!!" Deuce shouted, Ace also following, "We did it!!" Grim jumped, and stretch his paws out, "Victory high fives~!" "Yaaaaayy!!" the three of them high five, and Andie chuckled seeing this sight, "Pfft- Is this 'adversity brings people together'?" She teased, catching them off guard. Deuce hid his hands, "..-Ah! N-no. This is nothing like that!" "Y-Yeah, yeah! Could you stop saying weird things?" Ace retorted, Grim also glaring at Andie, "W-We won thanks to my genius! It's not because we pooled our strengths daso!!" "Uh-huh~" Andie raised an eyebrow at them with a smirk, knew that they're trying to lie to her.

Ace sighed, smiling slightly, "Y'know..." he then looked at Andie, "I hate to admit it, but... we mostly won because of your plan." Andie blinked, "Whoa..." She thought, "I did not see that coming from Ace." Deuce smiled as well, "Yeah... if you hadn't managed to keep your cool a tell us what to do, we never would have got the magic crystal and able to beat that monster," Deuce complimented, and then he sighed in relief, "Now I won't get expelled. And wow, is THAT a relief." Andie smiled, feeling flustered that the two boys complimented her, "We won because we all worked together. I'm just glad no one got hurt." "Yeah, yeah, lessons were learned. Can we just go home already? I'm wiped out." Ace said, completely tired from the battle. Grim let out a tired sigh, "I used so much magic...I'm starving daso...Hn?" Grim spotted the black stone, and picked it up, " What's this?" the humans looked at the stone.

Deuce wondered, "Remnants from that monster? A magic crystal...?" he soon shook his head slightly, "But, I've never seen one pitch black like coal before." The moment Andie saw the black crystal, she already has a bad feeling about it. Grim sniffed at the stone, "..This thing smells really good daso..." Ace looked at him in disbelief, "No way!" Grim grinned, "This has to be a candy the monster was hiding!" he stated, "Ooooohhh! I can't hold back!" "Wait a minute Grim!" Andie said, about to take the crystal from him, but it was too late. "Time to dig in!!" Grim announced, and in one bite, he ate the stone. Andie looked at him, bewilderedly, "He actually ate it!?" "Uuuhh!!!!" Grim paused. "Hey! You alright!?" Deuce asked, Ace sighed, "Aaahh. That's why you don't eat things off the ground..."

Grim's eyes widened slowly, "D...d-d-d-d-...DELICIOUS!!!" he announced loudly. The three humans were in shock immediately, "EEH!?" Grim chewed on the stone, savoring the flavor he tasted, "It's full-bodied but also rich, with an aromatic sweetness that blooms in my mouth..." then gulped, "Like a whole field of flowers in my mouth daso!!" Ace made a puking noises, still in shock, "Monsters really do have different tastes from us..." "...I guess so. But more than that..." Deuce shrugged, "Most people wouldn't even put a mysterious object in their mouth without a thought," "I guess monsters are omnivores...I think..." Andie said, eying the small furball. "Gahahaha!! Tasty, tasty!!" Grim wiped his mouth, "Don't worry, my stomach isn't weak like yours."

"Don't come crawling to me when you get sick later," Ace said. "But, anyway," they turn to Andie and Ace yelled, "What the hell was that back there?! Since when can you make ice like that?!" Andie blinked in surprise and turn to look at the river that still has the ice wall on it. She approached it and looked down to see that some parts of the river are still frozen. "What was that?" She asked herself, "You said you don't have magic," Andie turn to see the others approaching her, "I don't!" Andie defend herself, "Back home, we don't have any magic." "No magic? At all?" Deuce asked, making Andie shake her head. "We thought magic only belongs in fairytales." She spoke. "Then, how the hell do you have magic if your world doesn't have magic?" Grim asked, Andie walk up to the side of the ice wall and begins to think. "How the hell do I have magic? I don't understand." Then something clicks to her, "Wait, I can't do magic if I have the necklace on, what if," Andie took out her necklace from her pocket and the gems on it glimmers in the moonlight.

"I think my necklace has something to do with it." "Huh? What about it?" Grim asked, looking confused. "Maybe I was born with the ability to create ice and I think this necklace is blocking my magic." Andie said. "This is what happens when my necklace is off." Andie step on the water, and it turns into ice, "Whoa!" The boys yelped as Andie step away from it, "Now let's see what happens if I had the necklace on." Andie puts on the necklace and steps on the water again, but nothing happened. "It didn't freeze." Deuce said in surprise as Andie steps away from the river. Andie took off the necklace and said, "This necklace is somehow blocking my magic." "But why do you have that necklace?" Ace asked, "My mom gave this necklace to me when I was a kid. I didn't know I have magic or that this necklace has a magic spell on it until now." "What if your mom knows you do have magic?" Grim said, Andie's eyes widen when he said that. "That-that probably explains why-" "What is it?" Deuce asked.

"My parents and my older sister, Elena, neglected me when I was 8, I never knew why they ignored me. But when Grim said that, maybe that's the reason why they ignored me; they probably knew I have magic this whole time, and they somehow manage to get this necklace to seal my magic away." Andie said while looking at the necklace. "They probably have a reason why they ignored me." "Maybe something happened to you." Deuce said, "But what? I don't-" Suddenly Andie placed her hand on head with a painful groan. "Andie? What's wrong?" Deuce asked, looking concerned with Ace and Grim. "M-My head hurts." Andie groans, sinking to her knees, grabbing her head with both hands.

FLASH!

A few children laugh while playing in the living room at night.

FLASH!

A little girl created a snowball and throwing it in the air, exploded the moment it hit the ceiling, making it snow.

FLASH!

"Catch me!" A 10 year old girl shouted as the little girl create snow hill under her,

FLASH!

"Look out!" A little girl shouted as she accidently blasted her magic after she slipped and the girl was about to fall, she landed on the pile of snow and the magic blast bounce from reflection to reflection, and it was about to hit the blonde girl, but the little girl pushes her sister out of the way, but didn't save herself as the magic blast hit her head and lost conscious.

"Andie!"

FLASH!

Andie snapped her eyes open when she heard the guys calling her, "Andie! Are you alright?!" Ace asked when they check to see if she's alright. "No, I got a headache from all of this." Andie said as she rubs her head. "We should tell the headmaster about this." Deuce said, Andie nodded and they all went back to school with the magic crystal.
